I don't trust words. I trust actions.




Giara's POV.

"We should get going." I said to him while looking at the beautiful sunset.

"Yeah we should." He stood up and dusted his pants.

"Thank you for bringing me here." I just nodded at him and started walking towards my motorbike.

It felt good to open up. After so many years, I'm getting those things off my chest. It was really nice to able to talk to someone about those things​.

"Straight to your house?" I asked putting my helmet on and getting on my baby.

"Yes." He replies getting on behind me. I nodded​ and put in the key, igniting the engine. She let out a roar and we speed off.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked glancing at him through mirror.

"Nothing."

"Look, it's going to be okay."

"How? How I'm going to face Mark after this? I literally called him a liar. I didn't trust my own bestfriend!!" He exclaimed in frustration.

"Don't worry he'll forgive you." I said trying to assure him.

"I don't think so, after what I said to him. And Rachel, I loved her!"

"You did?" I questioned. "Because you don't seemed like heartbroken to me. You're worrying more about how to face Mark than about Rachel breaking your heart."

"Yeah, I guess so." Came out his small reply.

I stopped my bike in front of his house/mansion, I don't know really what I should call it. He get off the bike and handed me the helmet.

"Keep it." I said pushing it back to him. He nodded and turned around to head to his house. "Jay!" I called, he turned back to face me. "Don't worry about Mark. He loves you too much to not forgive you." With those words I speed off.

Now I need to head back to our site and see what they've found​. They better have found something or we are left with nothing again. Plus those two idiots won't open their mouth. I think Austin is useless, he don't know anything and Jake, he seems to know everything but won't open his mouth. Now let's see what they have got.

*At house/our site*

I parked my bike, cutting off it's engine. I looked around to see Alec's car parked in garage. That means they're back. Good. I entered the house calling out for them.

"Alec! Nick!"

"In here!" The voice came from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen to see them stuffing their faces with burger and fries.

"Why wasn't I invited to this party?" I asked stealing a fry from Nick's plate, at which he glared at me but didn't say anything.

"No party, we are just hungry." Jack mumble out with his mouth full. I didn't notice he was back.

"Hey! When did you came back?" I asked giving him a side hug.

"Yesterday." He said hugging me back. "And damn it feels so good." He said in relief.

"Tough one?"

"Yeah."

"I can feel ya bro." I said patting his back. "So what did you find?" I asked turning towards Alec and Nick. Nick hold up his finger telling me to wait a second. He took his fries and stuffed them in his mouth.

"Dude..!!" I said disgusted. "You could have told me to wait until you finish your eating." He sheepishly grin at me.

"I am done." Alec said dusting his hands and getting up.

"I'll take mine with me there." Jack stood with his plate.

"I could have done that too." Nick said frowning to himself. I rolled my eyes at him and exited the kitchen, walking into the living room where they were waiting.

"So?" I asked.

"So we went to the location and found a house. We checked it but found nothing except this cellphone." Alec said holding up his cellphone which was in a sealed plastic bag.

"He left before we could reach there. We checked the house, there was nothing but household things, furniture and stuff. No pictures or anything. So we searched for whom the house belonged to." Nick said​ circling the table and standing beside Alec.

"It belonged to David Parker." Alec said continuing​ where Nick left. "Then we searched for this David Parker and found out that he died two years ago due to heart attack."

"If he died two years ago, then how does that house still belongs to him?" I asked confused. If he is dead then government must take the house in unless he left it under someone's name.

"That's the main question mark in here. So we tried asking around the neighbourhood about who lives in there. They said that a 'young man' lives there." Nick said quoting young man using his fingers.

"So have anyone of them seen his face?" I asked.

"Nope. They say he used to come home late during night and was gone early in the morning. And he only used to visit that house during weekends and holidays."

"Okay." I said massaging my forehead. "And what about the cellphone? Have you checked it yet?"

"Nope." He shook his head.

"Then what are you waiting for?" I snapped at him due to frustration.

"Giara. We should be careful. He purposely left his phone behind because I don't think he is that dumb to leave it behind. It can be dangerous." Alec said in a calming voice.

"I know what I'm dealing with Alec. And if you think it's dangerous then you did great job by bringing it here in this house." I said sarcastically. "I'm getting what he's playing at. Nick switch it on or else let me do it." I said hold my hand up so he could hand in cellphone.

"No, I'll do it." He said. He took the plastic bag in which the cellphone was and slowly opened the seal. He took out the cellphone from the bag cautiously and stared at it for few seconds.

"Damn it you idiot." I snatched it from his hands and switched it on. Everyone were staring at it as if it's going to explode like a bomb. The logo of the cellphone came on the screen indicating the phone was switched on.

"See? Wasn't that easy?" I asked rhetorically. The cellphone in my hand beeped indicating that I have received a message. It had a winky face as it's contact name. I opened it.

"Felt relieved that it wasn't a bomb huh?" It said.

"See I told you it could have been dangerous!" Alec exclaimed but quieten down when I send a glare in his way. The phone beeped again.

"I could have set in a boom in there and it would have done my job easier but where's​ fun in that? Besides I like to play games especially with agents like you, who think they are so smart when they are not. So I have decided to play a game. Keep this phone with you. I'll be sending in some clues for you to make it easy. Let's see if you can find me then agent. ;)"

"Cheeky bastard." Nick hissed.

"He is smart." Alec said. "You doubt was correct Giara. He send those--"

"Those two for confirmation, if Jay was under protection or not." I said it for him.

"So now what are we going to do?" Jack asked.

"If he wants to play the game then fine we'll play the game too. Besides it been years since we got an interesting case like this." I said glaring at the cellphone. "Now I need a person who can track this number unknowingly. And that is not you Nick." I said before he could say anything. He pouted.

"So what are we going to do with those two?"

"Have fun." I smirked at them. It's time to have some fun.

*In questioning room*

"So Alec, what do you think we should do with them?" I asked looking at scared Austin and as usual Jake with blank face.

"I don't know. They are useless." He answered.

"Hmmm. Maybe we should get rid of them." I said causing Austin to widen his eyes and stutter.

"Get r-rid of t-them means?"

"In simple words, to kill them." Nick said gesturing the sign of slicing someone's throat.

"What? That's unfair! It's against the law!!" He screamed.

"Kidnapping someone is against the law too." I said. "Take him." I told them. He started screaming and struggling under their hold. Jack got fed up and lifted him on his shoulder which was easier because his arms and legs were tied.

"You could have opened your mouth and this would've been less hurtful." I said pulling Jake up and pushing him towards the door.

"I will never betray anyone even if it cost my life." He said.

"To bad he doesn't care or value your loyalty. You would have been a good use for us but alas! You've chosen a wrong​ path." I pushed him in the car where Austin was still screaming about how is wrong to take law in our hands. I rolled my eyes at him. Of course we are not killing them. We are just sending them to where they belong. To jail.
