****Do I need to say it?****

We stood there in complete silence, frozen in place. My heart was beating a million miles per hour as I waited for him to sling me away and probably even slap me but it never came.
His heart also seemed to be beating really fast from what I heard. I shyly glance at his face only to see he was even more shocked than me.
His eyes were wide and his eyes seemed to be darting from side to side, probably searching for an explanation. I slowly withdrew myself away from him and stared at my feet. This is one of the most awkward moments I have ever had.
" I told you to leave." He said ever so calmly. So calm it sounded like a threat. It probably is.
" Your mother said I should stay with you. So I'm not leaving." I stubbornly say fiddling with my fingers a little too hard.
" Fine then, Stay." He snarls. Before I could comprehend, he walks past me and into another room, locking it swiftly.
I know I should follow him but I didn't want to. I've had enough courage for today I'm afraid the thin ice I'm walking on will soon break. If it does, then maybe I'll end up broken myself.
I sighed and took a seat on his soft bed. Cozy. Today was definitely not how I wanted things to go. Sure I was bored but I didn't want this. Lilian has gone out to goodness knows where and I don't know how long she's gonna take.
I felt my phone ring and guess what? I check the callers ID this time.
" Honey? Where have you gone?" My Aunt's groggy voice spoke.
" I'm babysitting Aunt Maggie. Something came up." I told her.
" Oh okay. Come back soon. Grandma's coming today." She says and I squeal.

" Nana's coming?! Oh my God. I can't wait! Thanks, I'll see you soon." I practically jumped as I hung up.
I haven't seen Nanna since my parents burial but now she's coming. We've got a lot of catching up to do. I nearly forget my job until I see Lillian's name pop up on my screen.
" Hello Hope. Nicolas isn't giving you much trouble is he?" She asks. Her voice held a hint of exhaustion and sadness and I couldn't help but feel so worried.

What happened here?

" No. No. He's just in a room." I tell her.
" Oh, my dear that's not good. Please try to get him out of there. He may do something very dangerous. He may hurt himself. Please help my baby." She cried.

Wait...What?!

" Dangerous? Like what?" I ask getting concerned all of a sudden.
" Please just get him out. I have a master key in my bedroom. It's the first room by the hall. Just get it and watch him please." She sniffles.
" O-Okay. But where is James?" I ask heading towards the bedroom. I spot the key and half run towards the locked room.
" I-I took him to his grandparents. He's fine. " She says and I sigh in relief.
" Take care of yourself Lilian." I tell her.
" Okay thank you. Bye." She sniffles before hanging up. What does she mean by hurt himself?
" Here goes nothing." I whispered to the key in my hand before unlocking the door.
There room was silent. Deafeningly silent. It was like there was no one in here. He wasn't on the bed or under it, nor in the closet. Maybe he was in the bathroom?
I turned towards the bathroom door. I hope he isn't doing something stupid in there. Stealthily, I approached the door and placed my ear on it. There weren't any sounds coming from there either yet, it was....locked.

I turned the knob a bit more but it wouldn't budge confirming he was in there. He probably knew that I was going to get in.
I gently knocked on the wooden door but got no answer.
" Nicolas?" I called but go no answer in return.
" Nicolas are you in there?" I call again. No response.
" Nick, please open the door." I yelled a sense of panic taking over me.
Remembering the master key I had with me, I struggled to open the door with my trembling hands. Once it was unlocked, I placed my hands over my eyes and got in.
" I'm sorry, but you made me do this." I say hoping to get a reply. But still nothing.
" Nicolas?" I call finally opening my eyes.
At that moment I was happy and frightened. He was not using the bathroom at all. But where is he? That's when I noticed that the floor was completely wet. Water came streaming from the closed tub and  filled the whole place, soaking my sneakers.
He's in there? What is he doing in there? Oh God I hope he's not.....
Now I'm not the type of person who enjoys moving about, heck Aunt Maggie's right I am darn lazy, but the speed in which I ran towards the tub I have never used before. I was soon before the huge tub with only a foggy glass wall as the barrier.
I hurriedly slid the glass wall open. My whole body shivered in terror as I saw him in there. Soaked, pale, and unconscious.

Oh Lord, this is not what I signed up for.
