        ~•~•~•~•~ Flashback ~•~•~•~•~•~
                       One year ago

" What's this?" I frowned as I picked up the pink envelope in my locker.
It smelled strongly of roses and had this adorable smiley face at the back. I don't remember having an envelope in my locker though. I took a seat by the bench near me and tucked a curl  behind my ears as I opened it.
It read;
(✿ ♡‿♡)Many beauties have I stumbled upon but none can ever sum up to you bella. You make my day without even knowing. Keep that up, I know I'll forever be yours.( ◜‿◝ )♡

I closed the envelope, a small smile stretching my lips. I have a secret admirer? Me? But how? How does he even know my name? Only my parents and Aunt Maggie ever used it. They'd call me Isabella instead of Hope.
My eyes scanned the busy hall for any clue on who might be my admirer but I couldn't think of one. I have no friends and I barely talk to anyone. I'm all alone. Sighing, I shoved the envelope in my bag and went to class. Mom and Aunt Maggie would be so psyched to know about this.
I took a seat by the empty desk and waited patiently for the teacher to come in.
" Whah?" I felt something hit the back of my head. It was a piece of crumpled paper. I opened it and sighed when I saw what was inside:
                 NERD
Of course. The jerks. I ignored them as they continued to throw things at me, silently praying that Mrs Samuels would come in.
My prayers were answered and the middle aged woman walked in with a stern look on her face. She dropped her huge book on the table eliciting a loud bang and everywhere went silent. Time for class.

School's over and I still have no clue on who sent the letters. It's been two weeks and I keep finding little envelopes in my locker. I called Mom and told her about it. As expected, she was so happy. Dad...not so much. I haven't told aunt Maggie yet. I opened the crimson coloured one I had found today:
Yesterday you smiled at one of my letters and I could only wish you were smiling at me. Your beauty knows no bounds and smile lights up my dark world. I simply cannot wait to have you all to myself Bella. If you wish to see me, come over to Almond Park at 7 tonight (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
This is it! I'm going to see him. I hope it's a him. It has to be a him. I can't fall for a her. I hope it's not a her.                    I shake my head discarding the possibility that my secret admirer may be a girl. But whatever the case is, I'd definitely want to know who it is.
I stuffed the envelope in my bag and headed home. Since I came over here for a visit Aunt Maggie has been busy at work so I'm all alone. I don't blame her though, she's all alone.
I threw the envelope in the same place I always keep the others. A brown box under my bed. The whole box had a mix of nice fragrances and I honestly loved them.
I did my homework and spent sometime on my phone eagerly waiting for 7pm. Almond park was a short walk from my house so I didn't worry about the distance.
I called my parents who had travelled to Maldives for their anniversary to check on them. Sadly, their number wasn't going. I'll check up on them later. They're supposed to be back today anyway so they're probably in the plane.
......................................................................
I took another bite of my spaghetti, doing a slight dance in my chair. I'm going to meet my secret admirer in less than fifteen minutes and my parents will be back soon.
By the time I was done, It was 6:54. I was clearing the table when I heard my phone ringing. Without checking the caller's ID, I picked it up thinking it was mum.
" Mum! Are guys back yet? Remember we have alot to talk about. I'm finally going to meet h-" I was cut off from my excited rant when I heard a sob.
" Hope." Aunt Maggie's voice cracked. She only ever called me that when she was serious. I felt an uncomfortable sensation at the pit of my stomach at this. Did she get fired? Oh no. She worked so hard to get this one.
" Aunt Maggie? Why are you crying? Are you okay? Where are you?" I asked worriedly, heading towards the door.
" The hospital. " She sniffled. I felt my heart drop.
" What happened to you? Are you alright? I'm coming right over." I said frantically trying to unlock the door. My palms were so sweaty from all the worry I couldn't even insert the key.
" Nothing is wrong with me dear. It's your parents they're..." She couldn't continue her sentence as an uncontrollable sob escaped her lips.
I felt my heart pounding furiously against my chest. My parents? What happened to my parents? My knees began to tremble as I dreaded hearing the news.
" W-What happened to them?" I whispered unsure  whether I even wanted to know the answer
" T-They're dead Hope. Their plane crashed and-and nobody survived." She cried into the phone. I closed my eyes as the throb in my heart intensified.
My knees gave in and I dropped to the floor as the tears ran freely down my cheeks. My parents. My parents are dead. The phone dropped out of my hand as I stared at nothing in particular. How could this happen? Mum just promised to take me out yesterday. I was on the phone with them yesterday. This can't be happening.
" Oh God." I sobbed leaning my head against the door frame.
" Hope? Hope?! Hope are you there? " My aunt's voice yelled through the phone. I didn't answer as I continued to sob silently.
" Hang on Bella, I'm coming for you. Please be okay." She cries and hangs up the phone.
Please be okay. Okay? How can I be okay? My parents are dead. I cried my eyes out for God knows how long. By the time Aunt Maggie came she kept banging the door for me to open but I couldn't.
I didn't have the strength to get up. I didn't have the strength to even cry anymore. The only thing I could hear was the abnormal pounding of my heartbeat and the sound of her banging the door against my head.
I began to cough non-stop as my aunt's yells got louder or was it the voices of the other people who had come over? I didn't know because before I knew it, my whole world was tilting to the right and soon after, it became pitch black.

How do you like this one my sweeties 🥰? I just thought it was necessary to write this one. I'm so sorry for not updating for some time now. There's this stupid thing that's keeping me super busy. It's not yet over  and I'm just hoping it comes out positively.
Anyways just wanted to say I really love y'all who have been understanding and encouraging me. I really appreciate. I'm also learning to write notes after my chapters instead of separately because I realized, it's kind of annoying when you update a note instead of a chapter. Well, I don't know about you guys but I'd hate it if someone does that.
Please keep encouraging me by VOTING, COMMENTING, and SHARING to all your nice friends. Love you💓💓💓💓💋💯
