" Do you think that's why he's disappeared?" I asked the blonde pacing back and forth in my room.
Shortly after I had watched the video, Jasper called me and said he's on his now. Now here he is reigning curses on William Rae. I couldn't agree more with him but the cursing was so not necessary.
" No. Nicolas hates his dad. He wouldn't care about him. But I think maybe it's because of his mum." He sighs sitting back on the bed, next to me.
" You're saying Lilian sent him away?" I asked him with a worried frown.
" No. I'm saying maybe he's not with us because he's with his mom. You said she doesn't pick your call right?" Jasper asks and I nod.
" I'll need you to try again later. Nicolas' mom and dad's separation would mean the separation of the many businesses they had started up together. Now I don't know much about business but I'm sure that's a lot of paperwork." He explains.
" Poor Nicolas. He's probably devastated." I mutter holding a pillow to my chest.
" He'll be fine." Jasper says but I could tell even he was trying to convince himself that.
" Here. Gimme your phone." He says and I hand it to him. He begins to dial a number and look at him questioningly.
" This is Nick's number. Call him sometime." He says handing me my phone. I take it and nod.
" He might not answer when he finds out it's just me." I tell him.
" He will. " Jasper says.
" Do you want to eat anything? I could make something. Or order pizza." I tell him as I watch the sky take a darker color.
" Pizza is good." He says and I place and order.
" What are you going to do when you see him?" I ask after a moment of silence.

" First, I'll hug him. Then, I'll kick him in the shin." He says the last part a bit bitterly. I chuckled at his words.
" You?" He asks me and I look at him wide eyed.
" I don't know." I blushed, looking away. I haven't really thought about it. I'd probably just stare at him like a creep.
" You could kiss him." Jasper suggests and I smack him with my pillow.
" Hey! I was just suggesting it." He laughs.
" That would be like your first kiss, no?" Jasper smiles and I scoff.
" Your way of thinking is so cliche, Jay. " I tell him and he raises his hands in defense.
" What? You don't behave like the type who's into boys and stuff." He says.
" That's cuz I'm not." I tell him and he nods.
" So who's your first kiss?" He asks and I look at him with a raised brow.
" Are we dropping this?" I ask referring to the conversation.
" Nope. Mine was a girl in 2nd grade. Her name's Bethany." He says.
" Tell me yours." He pushes when I remain silent. I groan into my pillow before finally confessing.
                " I kissed my cousin."
                  " Cousin?!" He exclaims, bewildered.
" I was three okay? He busted his lips when he fell off a swing and my initial thought was to peck him so the pain would go away." I admitted with a furious blush.
" So what you kisses his boo-boo?" Jasper teases roaring with laughter. I throw a pillow at his face and shoot him a glare.
" It's not funny. Quit it." I whined and he keeps laughing.
" How cute." Jasper coos pinching my cheeks. My face is probably crimson by now.
" Can we focus on the matter at hand?" I rolled my eyes.
" Nope. Tell me more about yourself." Jasper smirks.
" I told you there nothing to know." I sighed.
" Oh come on. You should have at least had a crush." Jasper says and I shake my head.
" Most of my school days were just bullying. I had not a friend." I tell him and he sits up.
" Oh? Is that why you don't want to make friends here?" He asks getting all serious.
" No. I just don't know how to. I'm a coward if you don't know." I told him.
" You look after someone who almost everyone fears in school, take care of him, clean after him and you call yourself a coward?" Jasper smiles. I look away and blush.
" If you ask me that's pretty brave." He says nudging my shoulder in a teasing manner.
" Well thank you." I tell him.
" Plus, I think you can make a lot of friends if you tried. I mean, who wouldn't want to be friends with this cutie?" He says punching my cheeks.
                " Think so?" I chuckled.
" Definitely. Besides, you're also to blame for somethings." He admits.
                " Like?" I ask confused.
" You give off the wrong vibe you know? You don't smile, you don't speak..." He trailed off and its my turn to laugh.
" You're making me sound inhumane." I tell him and he smiles.
" Seriously. Try smiling more. You look way more pretty." He says and I blush for the thousandth time.
               " Sure." I tell him.
I hear the sound of someone knocking and quickly get up.
" Come on. Pizza's here." I tell him and we walk downstairs.
" I'll get it " I say as Jasper heads to the kitchen for some plates.
I hurried to the door as it has already began to rain, not wanting the delivery person to get all soaked.
" Sorry about the-" I gasped when I came face to face with the person we had been stressing over.
                    " N-Nicolas?"
