-------------------------------------------------

The cool wind darted by rustling branches as they crossed. Birds flying and attaining back to feed their young, the sun shined softly upon surfaces and performed a particular glow. Glimpsing in the sunlight waiting for two other boys to accompany her was a special girl that would be the reason to life or death in the future to come.

Footsteps evolving closer and closer, one combination racing while the opposite accompanied ordinarily. A couple of arms wrapped encompassing her as the towering male engulfed her in a bear hug.

Stumbling back as the wonderment embrace caught her off guard. Ethan's head reclined on the girl's crook of the neck while her face appeared to come in content with his chest. Her small hands balled up and gently punched the elder, "Let go of me," she stated while a petite pout formed on her lips.

"Fine," Ethan huffed before letting go. Watching the scene in front of him was making an ache in his chest, Tom couldn't deny that, but, he couldn't confess that either.

"May you two cease flirting with each other for one second so that we can go?" a voice spoke out to the pair, them not realising the burning sensation in him that was threatening to explode.

With a quick nod, they commenced into their journey. The sun shone brightly and distant voices of serendipitous kids echoed.

The trio strode through the busy crowd, searching for their needed supplies. The last two stores that were discretionary and mandatory attained.

Before any decisions were admitted on, the hyper girl ran towards the pet shop. Eager to maintain an animal, Y/n wandered through the store, eyes scanning everything twice.

Suddenly, staring right back at her were two green toxic orbs piercing through her soul.

The creature was magnificent, black ink-like scales that were smooth as silk, and that pair of green capturing orbs, Y/n knew she had to have it.

(Imagine those green strips obtained black. If you want, you may leave them to your preference.)

Ultimately, it was time to get their wands. Anxiousness suddenly washed over her, what happens if she wasn't an authentic wizard at all and they substituted her for someone else? What happens if she could nevermore find the right wand and would be never allowed to do magic? Questions flooded her head, doubts filled her mind as she questioned the situation.

The bell slightly tingled as a quintessential hand turned open the door, they were confronted with Garbold Ollivander. Ollivander was a wizard frequently known for his talent of composing wands, the preponderance of the magical world alleged he was the best person to buy a wand from.

He had faded blonde hair with wrinkles splattered on his face. Garbold's clothes were threadbare, however, looked satisfactory enough for him.

"Ah, I've been expecting you lot. Which one of you is first?" queried the poor man, not grasping that he was providing the iniquitous and darkest sorcerer of all times a wand too powerful for its own good.

Ethan volunteered to go first as his excitement was about to burst. Ollivander sat out a stack of wands and gave Ethan the first box. It was 12¾", Walnut, dragon heartstring. He gave it a simple wave but after a second discovered the sound of breaking glass.

Ollivander dodged a shattered piece before continuing on giving him the second option. It was a notable black and blue wand. Blue veins encased around the wand as an enchanting gem was placed on the top.

A comfortable feeling rushed through him, as he gave it a wave, a small lightning bolt zapped out eventually disappearing to blue specks.

"Interesting, very interesting." mumbled the shop keeper before returning to the group.

This time Tom stepped up, proposing to get his wand as he secretly sneered at Ethan.

Garbold fiddled with a dusty black box before transmitting it to Tom. The wand was an odd shape, he couldn't deny that. But it held great powers, dark yes, but great.

Tom welcomed the power as he held onto the wand, the feeling was adequate like he has got the world under his feet. However, he was not going to be disappointed, the feeling would return soon enough.

Finally, the long-awaited time has come. It was time for Y/n to get her hand. She started feeling butterflies in her stomach as she waited for Garbold Ollivander to come back. Negative thoughts once again entered her mind as she waited. Shaking the feeling off, she looked at the wand being offered to her.

It was plain black with nothing extraordinary except the beautiful carvings at the top. Y/n held it and for once didn't feel a single thing. (major hint in the story)

"Odd, very odd indeed." whispered the man. He gave her a different wand, it was artistic and aesthetic. It was deep black with toxic green strangling the wood. A diamond locked inside a barrier presented itself.  A transparent crystal topped it off.

(Pretend it doesn't say supportive, upbeat or outgoing. Replace it with infatuation, irreproachable and intuitive)

A tingling sentiment obliged through her arm, Y/n gave it a flick and abruptly a spark came out. She knew it was the one.

Author's Note

You can also decide this wand for Y/n if you don't approve of it. Beware, I'll use classifications of the other wand that may confuse you.

I also left major hints for you with the wand choosing. Find out whose wands were chosen for Ethan and Y/n's first choice and make connections. I'll reveal it when the time is right.
