Chapter 10
Hamdaan and Raisha went to bi jaan's room directly, most of the family was present there. They greeted everyone and took seats, bi jaan's blood pressure had gone up a bit, it was nothing serious. She was feeling a lot better, but she was happy that the whole family gathered. "Where is my grandson?" she asked Hamdaan.

"He will come in sometime," he said. Hamdaan talked about the usual things with Haris, his wife came with refreshments for all of them. They had 2 children, Shah gul (21 years old) and Shahzain (19 years old). Shah gul was engaged and planning to marry shortly.

After some time, everyone got out to let bi jaan rest for sometime. Around 4 am Zarkhan and Ain arrived there. Ain looked around in wonder. It was a beautiful house mainly made with stones and wood. It was a thing of beauty with its antique work. The mountains could be seen from the house clearly. Heavy gates were opened for them, and Zarkhan parked the car in the driveway and got out with her.

Ain felt a bit uncomfortable, "Come'' Zarkhan said and headed inside with her beside him. The first one he saw was his cousin shah gul ''lala!" She greeted him and then looked at the young girl who was half hidden behind her cousin brother. They all already knew about Ain, and she was in fact excited about meeting her.

"Ain, this is my cousin, Shah gul." Zarkhan said. Ain gave her a reluctant smile but got surprised when Shahgul pulled her for a hug.

"Take care of her, I will be back a er greeting bi jaan.'' Zarkhan said and headed towards her room. Ain wanted to stop him because he was abandoning her to strangers she didn't know.

Shah gull understood her nervousness, and took her to meet her mom. Raisha was also there sitting in the lounge area.

Zarkhan entered the room, his dad was already present there, he went near bi jaan and kissed her hand, he asked about her health.

"What took you so long ?" bi jaan asked, taking his hand in hers. "Ain got back from college at noon. I was waiting for her." He explained and bi jaan froze for a second looking at Zarkhan, then she nodded slowly and allowed him to go and freshen up.

Zarkhan had just gotten out of the room, when he heard bi jaan saying  "Have you fully lost it? You're just leaving any girl with him. Who knows what her upbringing was like?"

"Bi jaan! She is not that type of girl." Hamdaan said, barely controlling his anger.

He didn't want anyone disrespecting her.

"But she is not from our family. I don't want just any girl near my grandson." Bi jaan gritted in anger. She was orthodox in these matters, she believed in background and the family name.

"I can solve this problem today itself. You have the issue that she is not family right? I will ask someone to get the qazi, she will be marrying zarkhan today itself!" Hamdaan said and got out. He didn't want anyone raising fingers on his son or his daughter like Ain. Zarkhan had moved out of the way before Hamdaan could come across him.

He went to his room directly thinking about what his dad had just said.

Hamdaan came to the living area and announced the news. Everyone was shocked, but happy. Raisha wanted to ask about the sudden decision but decided to let it go for now. Ain was in shock, she watched Hamdaan numbly who went out patting her head.
Raisha watched as tears started filling Ain's eyes , she was also shivering........
