"I love you."

"Yeah."

"I love you."

"Uh-huh."

"I love you!"

"Jeez, Yoongi, it's only a cookie!" Jimin laughed, leaning back and smacking his mate.

"It's the best cookie ever," Yoongi said defensively, sucking the other half of the cookie into his mouth. Jimin made a face, and the alpha's cheeks puffed out as he tried not to laugh, which would have sprayed them both with wet cookie crumbs.

"Are you done yet?" Yoongi asked, sneaking closer and wrapping his arms around his mate.

"Nearly," Jimin sighed, shaking himself. The document in front of him sat open, cursor blinking. All he needed was a good conclusion.

"Why don't you take a break?" Yoongi said. "Come eat cookies with me."

"Last time I did that my assignment was late," Jimin said, smacking Yoongi's messy hands off his shirt. "I'm almost done, I promise."

"I've been waiting for you all day," Yoongi said, pausing in his complaining to nuzzle the mate mark on Jimin's neck. Jimin swatted him away from that, too. He hadn't realized it was showing again.

"Another fifteen minutes won't hurt you," he said, cursing as a shiver trailed up his spine. "Min Yoongi!"

"What if I told you it would?" Yoongi asked, slowly slipping his arms back around Jimin's waist. Jimin sighed, leaning back against Yoongi's chest, and looked up.

"You still have cookie in your mouth," he said.

"Won't that make it taste better?"

"I am not going to be the reason you choke, Min Yoongi!"

Yoongi swallowed pointedly and gave him a look. "All gone. Kiss me?"

Jimin rolled his eyes, shutting his laptop. "You owe me takeout."

"I'm already buying you dinner."

"That's news to me."

"I'll get you ice cream," Yoongi said, leaning in. "Sound good?"

"Sure," Jimin mumbled.

And their lips connected.
