"Step on it, Charles!" Violet yelled. Charles slammed his foot on the gas and the car jerked forward.

Logan's car was visible just a few yards before us, zooming down the street. His car made a screeched, sending a shiver down my spine.

"How the hell is he driving like this in a boot?!" Violet inquired.

"He's pissed, god damnit! Chase is gonna get his ass kicked." Charles sighed.

"He needs to calm down or he'll crash!" I said. "We have to do something!"

"He's driving faster than coyote! What should we do, jump out in front of the car!" Violet said, shaking her head viciously.

"Maybe I could try calling him!" I said.

"Hannah that's the dumbest thing you've said all day! First of all, he's pissed! Second of all, he'll crash of he takes his hand off the wheel for even a second!"

The car swerved. My body swung to the right, slamming my cheek hard onto the window.  "Charles be careful!"

"I'm trying to keep up!"

"There's a red light up ahead!" Violet said, pointing down the road. I watched as Logan's car began to slow. His car came to an abrupt stop at the light.

"He speeds down the road like a maniac then stops at a light?! Who is this guy?" Violet yelled, waving her hands in the air.

Now is a perfect time to call him! I pulled my phone from my pocket as fast as I could, almost dropping it. My thumbs slammed onto the screen as I furiously typed in his phone number. Charles stopped the car just a few feet behind Logan's, waiting for the light to change.

He answered faster than you could say teddy bear.

"Bunny? Where are you? Why didn't you visit me at the hospital? Why'd you leave the mansion? Why'd did you go on a date with Chase?" He said out of breath. "Answer me!"

Hearing his voice after so long sent a shiver through my body.

"Logan," I said into the phone. "Listen, just calm down. I'll answer all your questions. You asked me where I was right? I've been living with Violet this whole time. She took me in right after the accident because I... I didn't want to go home without you. I didn't visit you at the hospital because I was scared. I was so scared, Logan. After the accident I was just so shooken up and I just couldn't see you. I wanted to see you, I promise. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. And I didn't go on a date with Chase. I was having a terrible day because everyone was talking about the accident and-"

I was stopped by two loud knocks on the window I had currently hit my face on. On the other side was Logan's gorgeous face, staring at me with intense endearment. We stared at each other like that in silence.

A smile crept into my face and my eyes began to water.

I needed to hug him. I motioned for him to step back and once he did, I swung the car door open and jumped into his arms. "Logan!" I cried out.

"Bunny!" His arms quickly circled me and he squeezed my body tight. He buried his face into my neck and let out a sob. "Bunny, you're okay! Thank god."

I buried my face into his chest. I missed his scent. I missed his big arms around me and the warmth they gave. I missed Logan completely all together.

"Bunny, what are you doing here? Why are you following me? Why did you go on a date with Chase?!" He growled the last sentence and pulled away from me so he could see my face completely.

"I didn't go on a date with Chase, Logan. I was miserable that day and Chase was nice enough to talk to me because no one else would. He asked me if I wanted to go to lunch with him and I said yes. It wasn't a date. I would never go on a date with someone else because I love you." I raised my hands and placed then on his warm cheeks. "You know that,"

"Bunny-"

"You don't believe me, do you?" I said, dropping my eyes from his gaze.

"Bunny, after all you've been through... of course I believe you. You dated a cheater for three years without realizing it. I wouldn't expect you'd do the same." He placed his hand over mine and we  interlocked our fingers.

"I wouldn't!"

"That's my girl." He smirked then leaned forward and kissed my lips.

I haven't had a kiss from Logan in so long. Feeling his lips against mine again felt like Heaven.

He pressed my body towards his and my arms automatically wrapped around his neck deepening the kiss. He licked my bottom lip forcing my mouth to open. He forced his tongue inside, licking my teeth and my tongue. I wanted to moan, until I realized we had an audience.

I loosened my arms from Logan's neck, then removed my lips from his godly ones.

Violet wore the look of complete unamusement. "Wow. You two really really belong together."

"So do we," Charles said, giving her a wide grin. "Right?"

"Shut up!" She stomped on his foot, shaking the car.

Charles screamed the loudest scream I have ever heard before. I bet the whole world could heard it.

I sighed then turned to Logan once again. He stared at me as if he wanted to hold me forever.

I have to tell him about Chloe...

"Logan, there's something you should know. I'm here for a reason. This wasn't a coincidence."

"I know. You went to see Chloe didn't you?"

"Y-yes I did. Chloe's a liar, Logan. She sent Jason and his goons after you because she was jealous. She's a psycho!"

He stared at me in complete and utter confusion. "What?"

He doesn't believe me?

"Chloe sent Jason after you!" I repeated louder.

"Bunny, Chloe wouldn't do something like that. She hates Jason. "

"Are you stupid?" Violet said and stepped out of the car. "That bitch did this to you, Logan! She's crazy! Open your eyes, Python. You think we brought our asses our here at 12 o'clock at night just to lie to you? If you think that way then maybe you deserved that ass whooping-"

"Violet!" I interrupted. "Stop. Please. Logan we're not lying. She really did this to you."

He didn't say anything for a while. He raised his hand and ran his fingers through his hair. "Okay." He let out a sigh. "I believe you. But... I have to talk to my parents. They need to know about this."

"How come?"

"They agreed to have tea with the Golds this weekend. I'll tell them to cancel." He said, marching toward his car.

"Wait Logan!" I said, going after him.

Before I could say anything he gave me a quick kiss on the lips. "Would you think about coming back home, Bunny? Please? I miss you."

Home? Yes... it's my home.

"Of course," I said. "I've missed you too, Logan."

He smiled at my response then jumped into his car. When his engine roared, I couldn't help but feel upset.

I felt as if he still didnt believe me about Chloe...
*****
I woke up the next morning with the sun shining bright in my eyes and a foot in my face.

The down side of living with Violet was sharing a bed with her. She slept wearing dirty socks which were in my face every morning and night.

"Violet," I groaned. "Move your feet, they stink."

"You stink," she groaned and pulled the blanket over her head.

I rolled my eyes then stepped out of bed. I ran to the bathroom down the hall to empty the tank. I brushed my teeth and pulled my hair into a ponytail. I slipped my slippers onto my feet and went down the stairs to get some breakfast.

I jogged into the kitchen and opened the fridge in excitement. At that very moment, I fell into a dark pit of sadness.

There wasn't any milk.

"Violet!" I yelled. "Violet!"

"WHAT?!" She shrieked. "I'm trying to sleep!"

"Do you have cash for milk?!"
*
I walked down the grocery isle, pushing the cart along. Coins juggled in my pocket. Violet gave me five bucks, two of them in coins. I wasn't complaining.

Once I reached the dairy section, I threw a gallon of milk into the cart. Just to be sure I stared at the price tag. It read: $5.76

I face palmed and pulled out my wallet. The only thing inside was my ID and my shame.

I guess I'll have to ask someone for 76 cents.

I went up and down isles, looking for someone who would lend change to a stranger. I didn't see any illegible bacholers but a few old people who gave me dirty looks and mothers yelling at their children over a box of cereal.

I stopped my cart in the snacks isle and pulled out my phone. I should call Violet and let her know of my dilemma.

"Excuse me." A deep voice said behind me.

I jumped and quickly moved my cart to the right. "Sorry!" I said.

A man strolled down the isle and stopped infront of the candy section."Hmmm," he said at the various sweets.

The man wasn't an old man, but he was older than me. He was tall, had brown hair growing out of his head and big blue eyes. On the bridge of his nose lay black thick rimmed glasses. He looked sort of familiar. Those blue eyes...

Then I remembered! He's illegible I guess...

"E-excuse me, sir?" I said. "Could I ask you something?"

He peeled his eyes away from sugar and flicked them to me. "Yes?"

"Do you have 76 cents you could spare? I-I wanted to buy milk but I don't have enough..."

The man rubbed his chin. "Maybe... let me check." He pulled a big brown wallet from his pocket. My jaw dropped when he opened it, revealing several hundreds. He's loaded!

"Hmmm. Here we go!"

The man came toward me and dropped 3 quarters and a penny into my hand. A smile grew onto my face. "Thank you so much, sir!"

"You're welcome, sweetheart. Have a nice day." He waved to me then continued his search for the perfect snack.

I left the isle as fast as I could, but I couldn't help but feel eyes burning into the back of my neck.

I bought the milk at the self checkout, then went home to enjoy a delicious bowl of cereal.
