Our trip was over so we were heading back home.

The people in the neighborhood waved to us as we got on the bus. "Thank you all so much! The food was delicious!"

We waved back to them. "You're welcome!"

It felt good to help those people, but I wonder how Violet felt since she tried so hard to achieve this.

Logan circled his arm around my waist and pulled me close once we sat on our seat together.

The blonde was watching me. She looked angry. Her eyes burned with fury.

I buried my face into Logan's chest and closed my eyes. I could still feel her staring, but I didn't care.

"I want you to call your parents as soon as we get home, ok?" Logan said into my ear.

I nodded. I did miss my parents, but I had so much to tell them. I didn't know what they would think of their only daughter.

Then I thought, I wonder if Logan has any siblings.

He looks like an only child, but I could be wrong.

The bus began to drop the students off. The blonde was the first to leave. "I'll see you at practice Logan bear!" She said with a big smile. She stared at him with lust and love. I wanted her to look away, but I didn't say anything.

"Goodbye Heather," Logan said with a frown.

She got off the bus and ran into the arms of the girl who looked just like her. I remembered that girl glaring at me when I ate lunch with Logan. That girl must be Chloe.

The two girls walked into the mansion behind them, whispering and smiling at each other.

"Richies." Violet said under her breath as the bus began to drive off.

Logan and I were the last ones to go.

"See you guys later. Thanks a bunch for coming." Violet said with a smile.

"You're welcome, Violet. I'll be glad to help you anytime I can."

I remembered what she said to Kylee last night. I felt so bad for her. She shouldn't have to go through this because her ex made mistakes.

I covered for Peyton sometimes, but he never did anything that serious.

....

I sat on the couch with my new phone in my hand. Logan was sitting next to me. I had been staring at my blank screen for 10 minutes. I was nervous.

"Bunny, would you like me call them for you?"

"No! That'll make it worse, Logan! Thanks anyway."

He chuckled. "I'll go make you a sandwich." He stood and left the room, but I see him in the kitchen.

Suck it up, Hannah. You haven't talked to your parents in 3 years. You have to do this... for Logan.

For Logan. I'll do it for him.

I called them. It rang 3 times and then I heard a loud, stern voice on the other side. "Hello?" It was my mother's voice. I missed it so much.

"Momma?" I said, my voice a little shaky.

"Hannah?! Is that you?!"

"Yes,"

I heard a loud squeal on the other side. "Hannah! Where the hell have you been?! I've been trying to call you for months ever since the school told me you dropped out! Are you crazy?! What has gotten yourself into?!"

"Mom, calm down. Just listen to me, alright?"

I told her everything. I told her about Peyton, the reason I dropped out, Peyton cheating on me with Julia and then me ending up here with Logan. It was a lot to say and I was out of breath once I finished.

She was silent for a long time. Then she spoke. "Hannah... baby, I'm so so sorry. I can't believe all of that happened to you."

"I'm okay, Mom. Really I am."

She cleared her throat. "Where are you, Hannah?"

"My address?"

"Yes."

"You want to come over?" I looked up at Logan. He was toasting some bread. He noticed me looking and smiled at me.

"Yes honey, I want to know who you're living with and where."

I put my hand over my phone. "Logan, they want to come over." I whispered.

"Invite them," he said, taking the bread from the toaster.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Logan." I didn't want my parents to be harsh to him. They judged anything and everything even if they didn't mean to.

"Why not?"

"Because they're judgemental."

"What is there for them to judge?"

"You! Have you seen yourself?"

"Do I look bad?" He looked down at himself.

"No, it's just that you don't look like the kind of guy to bring a girl to your home out of kindness."

He looks like the kind of guy to bring you home just for sex and then throw you out right after. Well... he used to be that kind of guy.

"Hello? Are you still there, Hannah?" My mother said.

"Yeah, Mom. Sorry. I'll text you the address."

I guess we're doing this.

"Oh thank goodness! I can't wait to see you Hannah! Oh and I can't wait to meet the boy you're living with too." She said. "See you soon, Hannah. Momma loves you."

"I love you too, Momma." I hung up.

I sighed and looked up at Logan. He was staring up at the ceiling with a blank look on his face.

"Logan, what I said wasn't a bad thing. I hope I didn't upset you."

"I know, Bunny. I'm just a little nervous to meet them."

"You have nothing to be worried about, Logan. They'll like you and even if they don't, I do."

He came up to me and took my chin and his hand. He lifted it up and kissed the tip of my nose.

"I know, Bunny. I like you too and I want them to know that." He whispered into my ear and kissed my earlobe.

Hopefully they like him. Regardless, I won't abandon him.
