The Next Day~~

As per usual you all were practising.

"Still, there sure are a lot of attack patterns. Are we using all of these?" Takeda questioned as he looked at the different pattern drawn to the white board

"It depends. We need them to focus on the match in front of them. But we have to divide our own focus over many matches, and to be honest, that's not all the attack patterns we have a whole notebook of them, strategies to, all arranged per team we might come against." Ukai answered as he glanced at you who was with Kiyoko, arranging the things in the storage room(??).

"It's really a relief having Y/n-chan on our side" Takeda adds

"Yeah, but that kids really scares me" Ukai confesses as both adviser and coach looked at you and Kiyoko

"How so?"

"She made up all attack patterns, as well as defensive ones, strategies and all that stuff, In just 2 or 3 nights. Not to mentions she's quick on thinking of a new one, just like back on our Practice match with nekoma" Ukai answered as he recalled on how were you able to make strategies, immediately giving them to the team on breaks or when a new set starts.

"...I heard that she almost went to Date Tech and Aoba Johsai, It would be troublesome for us if she did." Takeda states as he recalled the information stated on your report card and Student Info.

"eh? What about Shiratorizawa?" Ukai asked, after all there was no way in hell Shiratorizawa wouldn't acknowledge such gift.

"If I remember correctly, she did get a ton of recommendations along with a scholarship both on Academics and sports. But she declined them" Takeda answers

"She never said the reason why though" The raven-nette adds.

"Well we're lucky enough to get her on our side." Ukai said as they both turned to Hinata who managed to spike Sugawara's set

"The Hinata-Sugawara quick attack is starting yo come together!" Ukai remarks proudly as they now both watched the males practice, As Kageyama was persistently asking for Asashi's judgement to his set, asking him if he had any requests, so he could adjust.

"A banner?" You repeated as you looked at Shimizu as you two now walked oit of the room, now fixing up your things

"Hai, I found it yesterday, do you mind helping me?" She asked you

"nope, I don't mind at all" you answered her

"Your good at Calligraphy right?" She asked you as you nod

"The writing on the banner grew dull since it wasn't used in a long time" she explains.

"We can do it in my house, I have the perfect paint for fabrics. We can head to your house to get you somethings before we go to mine" you said as she nodded

"That'll be great"

You two now walked out of the gym as the biys were busy cleaning up

"Shimizu!, Y/n!" Sugawara called out for the both of your as you both changed out from your volleyball shoes.

"Daichi's going to treat us meat buns" He informs the two of you

"sorry, there's something we need to do" Shimizu answered

"Maybe next time, Sugawara-senpai" you added with a small smile

"Really? Goodnight"

"Goodnight" both you and Kiyoko greats back before you both went off.

"won't your parents mind if I sleep there?" Kiyoko asked you as you were now walking towards your house as you two just came from Shimizu's house, taking some clothes and the banner.

"It's fine~ I live alone actually... My parents are.... Well how do I out this in exactly... Uhh.... It's a bit complicated to explain" you told her as she nods

"Well were here" you said as you stopped infront of your house, and Shimizu almsot jaw dropped at the sight of your house, I mean who high schooler would live alone in a house as big as the house that she was now standing infront of.

"Well let's get going" you said as you lead her to the front door as you then unlocked the door, as you stepped in

"Tadaima~, you can leave your shoes by the shoe rack there, there's some slippers in their too" you told her as you pointed at the shoe rack at the corner

"Ah sure, I'm coming in." Shimizu states as she stepped in to the house.

"oh and make yourself at home" you told her as you opened the lights.

"Right, thank you for having me."

"Hmmm... It's kinda late, I should make dinner" you told her

"If you don't mind I can start the work as you cook" she told you as you both set your bags on the couch.

"Oh ok, The laundry room's at the second floor, 3rd room to the left" you told her as she nodded before taking the banner from her bag as you then went your separate ways.

Time Skip~~

The team then continued practising for the prelims, and before you knew it was already the day before the Prelims.

"Let's quit early and go home to rest up." Ukai annouced

"Yes sir!"

"Okay, that's all-"

"One minute! Can I add one more comment from Y/n and Shimizu?" Takeda cuts of Ukai as he motioned for the two of you, as the team looks at the two of you

"I'm not great at pep talks, so..." Kiyoko started softly as you went over to your bag, getting the neatly folded cloth as you then climbed to the stands of the gym.

You both untied the banner as you both then revealed it to the team

Was written by the middle part of the banner with white paint, as the team them looked at the banner in awe

"I didn't know we had this!" Sugawara comments

"I found it while I was cleaning, so I washed it, and Y/n-chan fixed up the dull writings" Kiyoko starts as Both Nishinoya and Tanaka started to get pumped up, however they were stopped by Daichi as he notices that you two weren't done yet.

Kiyoko then looked at you as you flashed her a reassuring smile as she nods slightly before looking back at the boys

"Do... Do your best." Kiyoko said as she blushed

"Let's do our best to win!" you cheered as the boys looked at the two of you with unreadable expressions as Kiyoko immediately rushed down as you followed her.

Silence filled as the room as the Third years along with Nishinoya and Tanaka started crying.... In a weird way...

"No one never done this for us before!" Daichi cried out

And Nishinoya and Tanaka were now crying anime tears as the gym was then filled with their noise

"We're going to win in the first round!"

"Yeah!!"

A smile then plastered on your face as you watched your seniors cry out as Hinata simply cheered with them, as Tsukishima the other first years were looking at them weirdly

'they might have a long way to go however, I know that they'll win this' you thought as you smiled softly.
