Note: this chapter will show a part of Y/n's past with the Port Mafia. And originally this chapter was supposed to be on the main story and this was supposed to be on the prequel (which I am Currently working on) but I kinda want to show you guys why Y/n won't praise Aku. But details will be lacking on this chap. Since I won't add spoilers of Y/n's childhood.

Chapter Thirty

Third Person's POV

Age:
Y/n and Gin = 7
Akutagawa = 9
Dazai and Chuuya = 10
Odasaku = 15

"Too slow" Y/n commented as she dodged Akutagawa's attack

"Too weak" she commented as she blocked Akutagawa's punch

Using her ability Y/n made void looking portals which brought Akutagawa's Rashoumon to different places in the room.

"Be alert and never doze off when your in a fight" Y/n said as she appeared behind Akutagawas Kicking him to the pile of boxes as she also disabled her ability.

"This is enough for today" she coldly said before walking off.

"Matte! I'm bot done yet!" Akutagawa said as he stood up, struggling to keep his balance as he did so.

"Rest is important, we'll continue tomorrow go back to your dorm" you ordered in a stern tone before walking off

"H-hai"

Second Person's POV

"That was harsh of you" Chuuya said as he looked at you who just walked out of the room

"Dazai's training is harsher" you said as he stood up and walked beside you

"You haven't gave the guy a praise for managing to block your attacks, you praise his sister if she does" Chuuya said

"I only praise people who can praise themselves. Akutagawa-kun hasn't realized any shit about that at all" you spoke with a cold voice

"No swearing!"

"Yeah and you and Dazai curses infront of me 24/7" you said before teleporting yourself to the Port Mafia's training room, immediately seeing Gin waiting for you.

"We'll train with your stealth skills today" you said as you tied your hair up to pony tail.

"Start" you Said as you stood up at the center of the room

'I won't praise anyone who can't believe in themselves.'

You stepped to your left, dodging Gin's attempt to attack you.

'I hate those kind of people...'

You grabbed Gin's wrist as she was about to pounce at you from behind as you slammed to the ground

"don't panic, just breath steadily without a sound" you said as you helped her up

'Those kind of people who can't love themselves...'

"Try again" you Told her in a caln tone.

"Even if you have no ability, blend with the Shadows" you said as you looked around the training room, trying to find her presence

'They want other people's recognition before they recognize themselves'

"Time it when your enemy was their guard down, find their weak spot"

'I find it pathethic.... Their a selfless person if you ask me....'

"When you do, set a right time on when are you going to attack."

'Being harsh? Tch... Aren't they being harsher to themselves...'

"And when tht time comes, take a deep breath.... And attack." And at the moment you finished your sentence, a blade was dangerously close to your neck.

"Good job! But... Gin-chan you should always remember.... To secure that your enemy won't turn the tables!" You said as you elbowed her stomach making her step back in pain, taking your chance you jumped back, summoned your sword as pointed it near her neck

"Take note of that" you said as you disabled your ability. As you offered your hand to help her up since she got down to her knees

'They never give themselves some rest...'

"Sorry, was that to strong?" You asked her

"A little..." she answered.

"Sorry... Let's end this here... I still have something to do, see you tomorrow"

"Thank you for teaching me" Gin saud as she politely bowed

"No worries" you said as you flashed her a small smile, before you left the room.

'They don't eat, they don't take care of them even if they're near to death! They don-'

"Woah... that's some bloodlust you got their kid" a familiar voice spoke making you snap out from your thoughts making you look up as you immediately saw a familiar redhead.

"S-sorry"

"It's fine, you should really learn to hide that bloodlust of yours" Odasaku spoke as the two of you started to walk

"I know..."

"Penny for your thoughts?"

"Why are some people so selfless?" You asked him

"What do you mean by that?" He asked as he looked at you

"they care about others before themselves, they want other's recognition so bad, they don't care for themselves" you told him as you kept walking

"I'm not sure... have you tried asking that selfless person why are they like that?" Oda asked you as you shook your head.

"Try asking yourself then" he said making you stop walking

"What does that mean?"

"We'll never know" Odasaku answered as he shrugged

"Are you calling me selfless?!?"

"I never said that"

"Then what do you mean by that?"

Oda didn't answer since he was now a few meters away from you

"Oda-nii! What do you mean by that?! Hey!"

Later that night~~
Time: 12:00 am

sneaking out of your bed room you walked through the halls of the port Mafia dorms when you when you heard noise coming from the back.

Reaching the backyard, you saw a familiar silhouette of a male. Peakig your head from the wall you immediately saw Akutagawa training by himself

"That dumbass I told him to rest!" You whispered to yourself as you watched him train until he fell to the ground.

"Get up... You still have to pass her expectations" you hear him told himself

"you have to pass their expectations!"

'Gin-chan told me about their life back at slums... He lived happily with his friends... Those men just had to still their happiness....'

"So get up!" You watched Akutagawa yell to himself as he struggled to stand up

'The world is cruel, but...'

You watched as Akutagawa fell to the ground, completely blacking out.

'In the end... Life is a fair game.'

Stepping out of your hiding spot you walked near Akutagawa's unconscious body.

'It's just us humans who play dirty'

You touched his forehead though the moment you did you immediately felt his burning hot skin, as you also noticed his breathing starting to get heavy.

"If you were sick you could've told me" you said as you used your ability Carry him. As you started walking to the infirmary room.

Opening the door, you opened the lights as you were immediately greeted with a clean white room, as you laid Akutagawa to one of the beds as you went over to the coverts looking for a thermometer

"If I remember kids like your age should be asleep by this hour" a familiar voice spoke as he entered the infirmary.

"I couldn't sleep, Aren't you a kid too Dazai? I'm surprised that your not in your.... crate house" you said as you managed to find the thermometer.

"I'm older than you, you know my sleep schedule, And I just decided to visit" Dazai said as he took a basin, filling it up with water and a face towel (A: idk but something tells me Dazai probly secretly takes care of Aku. Coz we know that our bb is a very very sick bb *slight spoilers* like in Wan ep. 8 bish really sensed that he caught a cold ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ)

"Sure... Whatever" you said as you walked back to the bed where Akutagawa was and placed the thermometer on his mouth (A: your using that kind of thermometer)

the two of you waited for the device to beep, and when it did you immediately took it and checked his temperature.

"39.6°" you read, as you heard Dazai curse under his breath as soaked the face towel on the basin half-ly filled with cold water before he squeezed the excess water out and folded the towel and placed it on his forehead.

"I'll get some ice" Dazai said as he stood up.

"Ok." You said as Dazai webt out of the infirmary.

"Stupid" you said as you took the face towel from his forehead and soaked it with water, squeezing the extra water out as you begun genlty wiping his hands and you gently tapped the wet face towel on his neck...

"I told you to rest, but you still trained" you said as you looked at his sleeping figure.

"Gin-chan's gonna be worried when she wakes up ya'know" you scolded him, even though you knew he wasn't listening.

"And they say your older than me" you said as you released a small yawn as you placed the face yowel on his forehead, pulling a seat near to his bed as you sat down, waiting for Dazai to comeback.

"Your pretty strong ya'know *yawn* you just don't realize that" you said as you slowly drifted to sleep

Third Person's POV

Entering the infirmary Dazai was greeted with Y/n sleeping her head rested on her arms, which served as her pillow on the bed.

Dazai giggled to himself as he set the ice on the basin of water as he looked at Hirotsu who he disturbed

"I'll carry her back to her room, I'll be back soon"

"Understood, I'll handle this while you bring her to her room then" Hirotsu said as he webt towards Akutagawa's sleeping figure, while Dazai genlty picked up Y/n carrying her in a bridal style as he begun to walk to her room.

Y/n wasn't that heavy so, wasn't having much of a hard time, though as Dazai was carrying Y/n to her room he passed a room that was securely locked with chains as precautions tape covered the some parts of the door, as a not was left saying 'Do not Open!' no one ever entered the room, no one dared to, not even for cleaning.

"*sigh* your such a handful" Dazai as he looked at Y/n sleeping figure as he proceeded to carry her to her room.

The next day

Waking up, Akutagawa found himself on the Port Mafia's infirmary with some food served at the table beside his bed, it came along with some medicines and a small note.

'Eat up and drink you medicine, don't you dare get up. Get sone rest, your excused from your trainings for today.

"You know I also want to try your cooking Y/n-chan" Mori said

"Your not sick" you commented as you and Elise continued drawing.

"So does Kōyō-kun!" Mori whined as he pointed an accussing finger on Kōyō who was enjoying some golden Tempura which was specially cooked by Y/n

"you sound Stupid Rintaro" Elise commented

"Not you too Elise-chann!!!"
