"Why is he here?"

Shrithik asked as soon as Sameera entered the room and she got starteled.

"Woah. You scared me old man. Stop doing sudden things."

"Yeah. Yeah. But why is he here? Isn't it rude to just barge in someone's house?"
He asked sitting down on the bed and wearing a t-shirt he took out. Sameera was clueless as to when in the night he took it off.

"He didn't barge old man. He just saw me sleeping on the terrace and thought to just check. It's really nice of him."
She said and then quickly started brushing her teeth.

"It's really nice of him."
He mocked and left the room. She rolled her eyes and quickly finished brushing her teeth and then made her way downstairs.

Shrithik was nowhere to be seen and Jay was looking around the house.

"It's nice, isn't it?"
Sameera asked and he jumped a foot, starteled.

"Oh god! You scared the life out of me."
He said and she chuckled.

"Sorry. Oh! I'm really sorry I couldn't attend the wedding. You know I was so wasted that I slept for 17 hours. And after that also I was like really tired and slept at 9:00 pm. So yeah...."
She trailed off when she saw Jay's expression like he didn't understand a word she said.

"That's okay. Maaya already told me that you were with your friend. Um.....is he here? I'd like to meet him."
He said and she cleared her throat when she saw Shrithik coming out of the kitchen.

"Uh... actually.......he is a doctor you know. So he had to leave early today because of an emergency. Yes. If you want I can give you his ph-"
As soon as she started saying this Shrithik dropped a steel glass glaring at her.

Jay whipped his head around fast and before he could even say anything she ran towards the glass and picked it up.

"Wind. It was wind. You know. Ah! and we're probably leaving today, right? Do you know the time of our flight. Shivam said that he had booked one but didn't tell me anything."
She quickly spoke wishing that this conversation with Jay will be over as soon as possible.

Jay looked down and spoke. Not really getting why the hell she was acting so weird. He could not say strange because he doesn't know her well. But how she was acting in the current situation was definitely weird.

"Uh...yeah. It's at 11 o'clock. Three hours from now."

"That's really sweet of you Jay. I'll meet you at the airport then. Tell my friends to not worry about me. I have my luggage with me and as you've seen I'm totally fine. Bye."
She quickly rambeled and made her way to the front door and opened it for him to leave.

Jay looked at her strangely. Was she telling him to......leave? Well, something was definitely fishy and Sameera seemed to know it that he knew it. It was definitely weird that she was with a guy in a house which was in front of his house and that guy is a doctor whose face nobody in area has seen.

Wasn't it fishy? Of course it was.

"Then that's a goodbye then?"
He said more like a question and stopped in front of her.

"No. Don't say it like that Jay. I'll see you at the airport. You'll be coming right?"

He nodded and she smiled.
"That's it. And then believe me we will always stay it touch. And believe me you are the most sweetest man I've ever seen. And I would have proposed you the day I met you, but you know I can not get over Thalapathy Vijay. You know who he is, right?"
She asked and he nodded.

"Yeah. He's the South superstar right?"

"Oh yes. Look one reason to like you. I'll catch you later then."
She said and then standing on her toes hugged him and then quickly ushered him out and closed the door shut.

And then as soon as she turned around she shrieked when she saw her most beloved Shrithik standing a foot away from her. She pushed past him and angrily spoke

"Already I had my heart rate high from all the quick speaking I had done and you stand like that to scare me? Believe me old man, you are the first guy who is healthily alive after doing such things to me. And that's just because I love your food."

She threw herself on the sofa and took a deep breath in. Shrithik sighed at how dramatic she was being and handed her a glass of water. She angrily took it and gulped it down in one go and let out a relaxed breath.

"Can I hug you too?"
He spoke suddenly out of nowhere and she opened her eyes.

"Hug me?"

"Yeah. Can I hug you too?"

She nodded.
"Uh.....yeah. Of course. But why suddenly?"

Instead of answering her he moved towards her sitting figure. She started to stand but he stopped her.

"Stand on the sofa. Not the ground."

"Sofa?"

"Yeah sofa. You heard me. Now hurry up."
He said and she nodded. Not arguing because she also randomly hugs her close friends and family members.

And for now, who was more close to him than her, except Shrey but as he was abroad he didn't count.

He was so damn tall that even after she stood on the sofa, his head came just under her chin.

"Why are you so tall?"
She asked and he grinned.

"Genes."
And then he wrapped his arms around her. She wrapped her arms around him and patted his head slowly.
She then felt his arms tightening around her.

His beard tickled her on her collar bone.
Once she stopped patting his head he mumbled childishly

"Why did you stop patting my head?"

Sameera chuckled and once again started patting his head, slowly.

One thing that she took a notice of, was that while hugging, Shrithik liked to be the small spoon. It's because he likes being protected or to be assured that someone is there for him. It was not weird. He was a human guy with just as much human emotions as any other person. He was just as vulnerable as someone else.

"Is it enough?"
Sameera asked. And he nodded. But before he could just leave her, he felt her kissing his head.

Sameera didn't forget that yesterday was his mother's death anniversary. Maybe he ws still feeling down.
He smiled against her and left her.

"Go bath. You have to leave to the airport in three hours. I'll just get you something to eat in a flash."
He said and went somewhere.

Two and a half hours later, Sameera was sitting on a bench at the airport waiting for her friends.

"Hey! Sameera!"
Maaya yelled and started running towards her. Sameera also stood up and ran towards her. At one point they both crashed in each other and hugged each other.

"You both are acting like you haven't seen each other in ages."
Shivam said and Sameera snorted and said dramatically.

"Of course we haven't seen each other in one day. You know how long that is?"

"That's some nice t-shirt you are wearing, sweetheart."
Maaya said smirking and looking Sameera up and down.
She was still wearing the same t-shirt.

"I know. Well, I got to know you talked to him? He's got a great voice right?"
She asked swinging her hand around Maaya's shoulder.

"Yes. And you know I am-"

"Enough of your talks. Our flight has arrived. Let's go."
Shrishti said and everyone nodded.

"Thankyou so much Jay Bhai. I really love you."
Pihu said and hugged Jay and he smiled back. His eyes were not leaving Sameera.

He was now sure that he was in love with her. Everybody thanked him one by one, ofcourse except Raj and Sameera.

Sameera was laughing at something and Jay just looked at her. He was too sad that she was going and was not into him.
Sameera glanced at him and in just one look knew exactly what he was thinking. He had been staring at her for the last ten minutes.

And suddenly the announcement of the flight was done.

"Come on! Let's go."
Raj said and everyone nodded and started going.

"You guys go. I just want to talk to Jay. Just a minute."

"Sure. But come fast."

Sameera looked Jay in the eye and moved towards him. Standing just in front of him, she spoke

"I know what you are thinking."

"Then why are you going o-"

"Jay. Listen to me Jay. First of all, I don't live here and second I'm not into you Jay. I like someone else."

He rubbed his forehead and then smiling sadly, spoke

"Yeah. But you know, just remember I love you. Maybe it was love at first sight, because I'm sure that I've been feeling the same for you since the moment I saw you. If you ever need me I'll always be there for you."

Sameera was totally taken aback by the term love. He has merely known her for 10 days.

"Love? No, you don't Jay. I already told you, that you are the sweetest guy I've ever met. Maybe if I wouldn't have met old man, I would have been with you. But, I like you. As a friend. As a good human. Find someone who loves you Jay, don't go after someone who doesn't. Any girl would be lucky to have you."

She said smiling and he nodded. And with one swift motion she hugged him, tightly. She never felt comfortable hugging someone new, but nobody knows that.
He was taken aback but just hugged her back.

"And remember, don't kiss the girl you'll like on the fourth day of him meeting you. She'll be hell mad."

She said joking and he laughed, nodding.

Seperating they bid each other goodbye.

Sameera later joined with her friends and then the flight took off.
