"Don't you worry. Her mom will definitely agree. If not I'll convince her."
Maaya told Pihu.

Sameera's mom was a super cool mom. Sameera seriously admired her.
Jay sighed. So she was coming afterall.

"Is it done. May I leave?"
Raj asked.

Pihu nodded.
"Jay, I'll go with Raj. He'll drop me off. You guys can also go if you want."

Sameera also spoke
"Yeah. I also have to go. See ya."

Saying this she got up.

"I can drop you."
Raj spoke and Sameera chuckled.

"I'll go to the restraunt first. And it is in the opposite direction. You go with Pihu."

Pihu smiled gratefully at her and dragged Raj out. But before fully exiting she gestured Jay to drop Sameera off to her house. Sameera went to the counter to bring some fruit juices.

"Come on, twin. Drop me home."
Shivam said to Maaya and she nodded. And soon both of them were also out.

She came back a minute later to find everybody gone except Jay.

"Looks like they all left you."
She spoke and he nodded. He stood up and walked beside her.

"Yeah. Do you live nearby?"

She nodded.
"Yes. Just a 10 minute walk from here. I've to go to the restaurant also."
She breathed out the last words to herself.

Jay was an intelligent person so he spoke
"I can drive you."

She smiled gratefully and shook her head in no.
"It's fine. I'll walk-"

"I insist. I'm not even a stranger now."
He insisted. She contemplated on the idea and agreed.

Jay had a Black Audi and Sameera couldn't help but whistle. Jay saw rainbow. This girl also knew how to whistle.

"I'm surprised you know how to whistle."
He said opening the door for her."

She laughed and sat in. He quickly jogged to other side and sat in the driver seat.

"I daily got scolded because I whistled too much. So......how do you manage to get at that great position?"

He looked at her. Confused.
"CEO. Your hotels have branches in most Indian cities right?"

He nodded.
"I mean. I want to ask that if you started your buisness or it was handed down to you. How did you start it or how much progress they made under your supervision. If you...... don't mind me....... asking."

She said when she saw him looking at her with a blank expression. She mentally face palmed herself for rambling and asking this much questions.
Stupid Wattpad. Stupid Boss assistant stories.

"I'm sorry?"
She said more like a question. Jay looked down. His lips having a oh so small cute smile.
She knew about his hotel branches. That was encouraging. Usually people don't know about you unless they themselves are wanting to start a buisness or are in buisness field.

Sameera admired his cute smile and looked out of the window.

"It was my dad's. He stared the buisness in Mumbai and till I was handed over the buisness it was still in Mumbai."

He said after a minute of silence. Sameera's attention was drawn towards him. She smiled an amused smile. After fully turning towards him, she asked

"That means you expanded the buisness. That's amazing. If you don't mind me asking at what age did your dad retire?"

She asked.

"It was four years ago."

She leaned back in her seat.
"Four years and this much progress? I'd be lying the biggest lie in the world if I said that I am not surprised. But......."

She once again trailed off. He looked at her and raised his eyebrows

"But?"

He looked so cute doing that.

"You don't look like you are just a little more than my age-"

He cut her off.

"I was made the CEO when I was 21. And now I am 25. I was already a buisness student, so it helped me."

"That's so cool."
She mused. One year older than Shrithik. Hmmmmmm.
He chuckled at her reaction. Normally people got bored when he told them.

"That's the one. Can you please wait for a minute?"

She said pointing at a restaurant. He nodded and parked the car. After getting out of the car she turned towards him

"Would you like something?"

'your phone number'
He wanted to say but just nodded. She smiled and went inside the resturant, leaving Jay thinking ways to ask her phone number.
An idea popped into his mind and he called Pihu.

"Hello?"

"Will she give me her number if I ask directly or will you give it to me afterwards?"

Pihu rolled her eyes. Such a nice way of greeting.

"Ask her. Almost half of the second year students have her number whome she don't know. She'll gladly give."

"Okay. Bye."

Saying this he hung up. Sameera came holding four packets of food. Is she going to eat it all? She must be a gym freak is she will.

She got in and sat.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting."

"No. No. It's okay."
He smiled and Sameera couldn't help but admire his small cute dimples.

Looks like somebody got a new crush.

"Um.... your adress?"

She scratched her neck.
"Um....we have to go all the way back. It's in opposite direction."

He chuckled.
"Then I'm glad I didn't let you walk."

Saying this he reversed and made way to her apartment. The ride was quite. Both were smiling to themselves. Silence between them was also a comfortable one.

"Here."
She said stopping him in the front of her apartment building.

"Thanks for the ride, Mr. Singhal."

He jerked his head towards her.
"Mister? Call me Jay. I'm not that old."

She opened her mouth to refuse as he was still five years older than her but couldn't say anything

"Call me Jay, Sameera."
He stated in a quite authoritive tone which left no room for argument.

She nodded.
"Thanks for the ride Jay"

"That's nothing."
He waved her off getting a little shy.

"Can I get your number?"

Sameera looked at him and blinked.
"Sure. Give me your phone."

He handed her his phone and she saved her number.

Handing it back to him she smiled.

"Thanks. See you later?"

"Of course. Good night."
Saying this he sped off.

She then made her way to her flat.
Opening the door she was met with darkness. She switched on the lights and went directly in the balcony.
Shrithik was there. Sitting on the wall from which if he'll fall, he'll directly die.

His brows were furrowed and he was looking down on the moving vehicles. His lips formed a small adorable pout. He was looking deep in thought. His jaw was clenched tightly.

"Hey!"

She said gaining his attention. He looked up. His eyes were red. But it didn't look like he was crying.

"Old man. Your eyes are red. Should I bring an eye drop?"

"I'm angry."

She looked up at him confused.

"Huh?"

He jumped down.

"Those kind of parents should be given a third degree torture. Leaving a five year old kid by himself. Do you know how deep and long his cut was-"

He was taking a step forward towards her like a predator and she was moving backwards like a prey. His eyes were filled with rage.

"-if it was not disinfected on time he could have gotten seriously ill. And it could lead to a painfull death. What if- what if he could have been in an accident? What if he was kidnapped by someone and sold to a trafficking broker. That boy's life could have been ruined, sweetheart. HIS LIFE COULD HAVE BEEN RUINED!"

He yelled and banged his fist on the wall beside Sameera's head. She was trapped between wall and him. His both hands were beside her head.
She flinched. He was looking scary and intimidating. He looked like he wanted to punch the shit out of someone. Closing his eyes he took deep breath.

She couldn't understand why was he so angry. She just quietly touched his cheek and he leaned in her touch. With slow and cautious movements she took his other fist in her hand and brushed her finger tips on his wounded knuckles. He slowly opened his eyes. As soon as he did that he quickly moved away from her like she burnt him.

"I'm..... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to, sweetheart. Are you hurt? Did I hurt you? Dammit!"

He messed his hair.
"Relax. You didn't do anything. I'm fine."

"I'm sorry. I was not thinking."
He said and she smiled softly at him. He was concerned about her. About that stanger kid. Though she was scared out of her mind, but she knew he could never hurt her. He would never hurt her.

"I already said it's okay. I've bought some food. Should I serve?"

He nodded and quietly followed her.
Their environment changed from tense to light during dinner. They both laughed, talked and ate.

It was getting near bedtime when it started raining heavily and power was cut off.

"That's the problem with monsoon. I've called the electrician many times but that guy didn't had enough time to come amd check what happened to my inverter."

She grumbled to herself as she searched for a candle in her phone's torch light.

"Here."

Shrithik's voice came from behind her. She turned around to find him just behind her at the distance of one feet.

His face was shining in the torch light, looking extremely good. Shrithik was as good person. And that goodness shined on his face. That's why he is so handsome.

She took it without taking her eyes off his'.
Both were staring deeply at each other. It may seem like everything was same but something has changed since they shared a bed together. Till then it was just a little something but they day he picked her up bridal style that little something changed into a bit big something.

Both of them could feel it and to avoid the unwanted awkwardness they ignored it and continued to be like usual.

Shr turned around to find a matchbox. And once again she couldn't find it.

"Here."
His voice once again came and his hand extended over her shoulder. She took the lighter in his hand and rolled her eyes.

"You could have lit it up, old man."

He didn't say anything and she lit the candle up. Switching off her phone she picked up the candle but soon kept it down.

Shrithik has buried his face in her neck. Nothing more. But slowly his hands went under hers and he hugged her from behind.

"W-what are you doing, o-old man?"

She asked, breathing heavily. She cursed herself for stammering and felt his lips tug up in a small smile.

Hugging her tighter he spoke
"I'm tired."

"Then sleep."

"Mosquitoes. No fan. No electricity. How?"
He whined with his head now deeply buried in her neck.

"What do you want me to do? Fan you?"

He kept quiet and lifted his head up to whisper in her ear

"Maybe.."

"Drama queen. Now, why are you hugging me like this?" She asked and felt him tighten his grip.

"You are soft. Just like a teddy bear. More like a pillow."

She hit his hand and he chuckled.

Though her heart was beating rapidly and her mind was screaming to push him away, she didn't. She quite liked the position in which they were in.

She leaned in him and he adjusted his grip on her. Nobody speaking anything. She looked at the rain. Water droplets shining in the street lights. The pit patter of rain drop, having a calming effect. And soon she heard soft snores.

She looked from the side of her to him. His face was still buried in her neck. He must be really tired to sleep like this.

Wait! He's sleeping.

"Did he really just slept standing with his head on my shoulder?"
She mumbled to herself and shook him softly.

"Old man. Wake up. Go to bed."

But no reply. She would have tried atleast ten times but he didn't even react. Then she did the only thing she could.

"Get off of my shoulder, old man!"

She yelled and he jerked up awake.

"Huh?"
