The day after that was usual. Well, it was what it looked like. Sameera tried to remain her usual cheerful, idiot self and was acting as if she didn't lash out on Shrishti. But according to both Sameera and Shrithik she was not that harsh.

She felt guilt seeping in her veins when she found that Shrishti didn't come today. But she still tried to remain the same.

When she reached her home at about 5pm she saw that Shrithik was sitting in the balcony enjoying the rain. She smiled.
At least someone was there who was actually not a least bit affected by yesterday's drama.
She groaned
"I really overreacted yesterday."

He didn't see her coming nor heard her as his earphones were plugged in. Suddenly a relatively big hand for a female came into his view, holding a cup of steaming hot chocolate.
He looked up to find Sameera smiling at him. He smiled back and took the cup. Taking his earphones out he said

"Hey Sweetheart. How was your day?"

She sighed
"Bad. Everybody just acts. There is not a single real person in this world."

He took a sip of his hot chocolate.

"That's true. I assume everybody was trying to act as nothing happened, including you?"

"Yeah."

"It's not a new thing sweetheart. Everybody just acts on a daily basis. For example your friend Maaya, she acts as a cool, sarcastic girl who relates to every backbencher meme. Raj, he acts all intimidating and mean. Shivam, he acts as an idiot. Pihu, she acts as a sweet, sunshine girl. Shrishti, she- well you know about the goody two shoes. And you-"

"I act as the brave, crazy troublemaker and you, you act as the arrogant, egotistical jerk who is not a least bit affected by anything. But I have to say, you are quite of an observer."

They both looked deeply in each other's eyes. He broke the eye contact.

"I really not appreciate you thinking that way,-"

"You cannot expect me to believe that facade you put on. Sometimes. Everybody gets affected by everything. Some just show it openly and some just hide it. Some people let it get to them, and some not. You and I both come in same category. Don't feel shy."

She teased at the end.

"I don't really feel that you act as crazy. You are crazy sweetheart!"

"That's not true!"

"Yes. It is."

"Oh shut up. You are saying as you don't believe that rain water is actually tears of a queen."

"Because they are!"

"Oh come on, old man. Tears are salt water. And rain water is distilled. How can you even believe that?"

"Maybe that queen had different tears."

She looked at him and flicked his head.

"That's funny."

"What? Did you believe that anybody could get Invisible? Conduction of Invisibility, did you believe that before you met me?"

He asked. She thought for a minute and shook her head in no.

"Look. Believe me, there is a queen who is very dumb."

"Yeah, yeah. Old man."

He took her cup and stood up. Decreasing the gap between their faces to few inches he spoke

"There is a queen sweetheart."

Further decreasing the gap to a few centimetres Sameera spoke

"We will see."

He nodded.
"Yeah."

Both of them were looking at each other with challenging gaze and smirking. But by the wish of the loving God, their staring session was broken by her phone ringtone.
She groaned. Now who the hell was calling her?
She got up and made a bee line for her phone. She was confused to see Shivam calling her. He didn't even like texting calling is on a whole new level.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Sameera!"

"Yeah? What happened?"

"Meet me at the Cafe Paradise in 30 minutes. Everyone is coming. Maaya called me and told me to tell you."

"Cafe Paradise? But why?"

"I don't know. She just called me and ordered me to tell you. Now I am hanging up. I really hate to talk on a call."

Muttering the last words to himself he hung up. Sameera looked out of the balcony to find that rain has stopped.
She entered Shrithik's room and asked him

"I'm going out. Will you come?"

He looked up at her from his phone and nodded.

"Sure. But where?"

She shrugged.
"To a cafe near my college. Shivam called and asked me to meet him there in thirty minutes. Everybody is going."

"Then why are you asking me to accompany you? Your friends will be there."

"Because I am going now. If I will not then those thirty minutes will be longer than anything and I'll still be late."

"Okay. Go ahead, because I am not going."

"Pleaseeeeeeee. Please come na."

He shook his head in no so she grabbed his hand and pulled him up. Of course the guy wasn't resisting.

"Come on, old man."
Saying this she dragged him to the coffee shop.

"Hey Raju."
She said to the receptionist. He glared at her.

"How many times do I have to tell you that my name is Rajesh not Raju."

"Sorry, sorry."
She chuckled and sat down at a eight seater table in the corner. That cafe was big.

Shrithik sat beside her.
"One cappuccino"

She nodded and called the waiter. After giving the order of two cappuccino and choclate chip cookies she leaned back in her chair and turned to Shrithik.
But he was watching something outside the shop. She followed his line of sight and gasped.

There was a boy not more than five, crying. He was a beggar. That little guy had a long cut on his arm and it was bleeding.

Shrithik got up and made his way towards the little guy and Sameera followed him.

"Pick him up, sweetheart."

She nodded and did as told. Taking him inside the cafe she sat him on her table. That kid hasn't stopped crying.

Shrithik took some tissues and dipped them in water and cleaned his cut.

"Aww. Nothing happened. It's nothing. We'll get you a chocolate. Okay?"

The kid nodded. Still weeping.

"Oho. What is your name little man?"

"S-shivu."

She caressed his cheek.

"That's a so sweet name, shivu. How did you hurt yourself?"

"Ki-te-e."

"Kite?"

He nodded.

"It's done."
Shrithik spoke. Sameera looked down at Shivu's hand and it was fully bandaged. She didn't know from where he got that but smiled at him.
Once again wetting a tissu she wiped Shivu's little face. Now that she got a proper look at him she couldn't resist pinching his cheeks.

He had dark brown curly hairs like Shrey. And his eyes were hazel green. His skin was bright and his cheeks and nose were rosy because of crying.

"W-who are you?"

"Me? I'm Sameera. Now tell me Shivu where are your parents?"

Instead of answering he started crying. She managed to calm him.

"There"
He said pointing his finger outside the shop.
He concentratedly looked out of the window and then his eyes it up.

"That's my mummy!"
He squealed. She looked where he was looking and her gaze dropped on a woman who was looking terrified. She pointed her finger at that woman and asked Shivu

"That one? In a pink saree?"

He nodded.

"Come on. Let's get you to her."
She said and picked him up.

Shrithik was nowhere to be seen. She looked around but didn't found him so she went and handed the woman her baby.
And God knows how harsh her words were to the baby's mother.
They gathered a crowd and when that crowd startes blaming the mother she snapped at them.

She entered the cafe in hope to find Shrithik, so that they can go home. She totally forgot about her friends.

She picked up her phone from the table and started heading out as Shrithik was still nowhere to be seen. But she was stopped by Shrishti's voice.

"Sameera! Wait!"

She turned around and found Shrishti sitting at another table with her friends.
She couldn't help the grin when she saw Shrishti. She once again looked like her old self. Beautiful. And finally she has started dressing like herself not like Sameera.
Shrishti was also giving her a photo worthy smile. She thought about what Sameera said and decided not to mourn over those six percents.

"Come here!"
She yelled and Sameera nodded making her way towards them. She sat on a chair and greeted everybody. There were Pihu, Raj, Shivam, Maaya and one more unknown person whose face was unknown because he was typing something in his phone. He was wearing a blue suit and looked like a businessman from back.
She shrugged it off. Whoever planned this meeting will obviously introduce him.

"So guys. I've called you all here. This is my cousin Jay."

Jay looked up from his phone upon hearing his name by Pihu. His breath hitched when he saw the girl sitting in front of him.
She was beautiful. She had long black hair which were tied in a pigtail which reached down her hips. She had big black eyes which complimented her walnut coloured skin. And most of all, she was the same girl who was managing that crying baby and returned him to his mother.

He stared at her as she looked at him. She smiled and his heart skipped a beat. She was beautiful.

"Jay!"
Pihu shook him and he became aware of his surroundings.

"Uh...Hi. I'm Jay Singhal. CEO of Singhal Hotel branches."

"Hello Jay it's very nice to meet you. Now please excuse me."
Raj stated and got up. But was forcefully made to sit by Pihu. Raj was a huge ass introvert. That's why he didn't even got out of the college toilet when heard of Sasha.

Sameera laughed lightly and Jay's heart did a flip.
Speaking of Raj, Sameera remembered Shrithik. She quickly dialed his number and excused herself.

Jay lightly leaned towards Pihu.
"What's her name? Is she single."

Pihu chuckled lightly.
"Her name is Sameera and yes she is."

"Tell me something about her. Is she like you or.......-"

"No no no. Don't even think she is like me. Though she is super polite she is a badass in herself. I think you saw her scolding the woman and how that woman looked lke she was going to just jump of a cliff? She carries a no nonsense attitude but somehow still has a.........playful energy? She goes on road trips by bike totally alone. And can you believe she wears lower tshirt almost all the time? Only when it is necessary she wears jeans and sometimes shirts. Every single thing she has are unisex. From sandals to clothes. And her tshirts are so big in size that you can wear them."

Jay turned around and Sameera was wearing a tshirt almost three times bigger.

"And-"

"Enough. I think it's enough. And by the way that guy beside you is looking like he's gonna beat the shit out of me."
Jay said and Pihu chuckled.

Though Raj was aware that Jay was Pihu's cousin but he still wanted to open his head up.

Shrithik picked up his phone after four rings.

"Hello?"
He barked.

"Um...hey old man."

"Oh... sweetheart. I'm sorry I just........I didn't see the id."
He spoke a little softly. But his voice felt emotionless.

"No, no. It's okay. You are at home right?"

"Yeah."

"Don't bother to cook. I'll bring something."

"Okay. Bye."

"Yeah. Bye. Take care."

Saying this she hung up and made her way back to her friends. She saw everybody talking animatedly about something. Except Raj, of course.
As she sat down she saw Jay looking at her so she smiled at him.

"What are you talking about without me?"
She asked Pihu.

"You know just bitching about you."

Maaya replied and Sameera rolled her eyes.
"As expected."

"Um.....My sister is getting married in ten days. I was here to take Pihu but she asked me to wait."
Jay said and Pihu continued

"Yeah I wanted to ask you guys if you would like to come to Mumbai with us. Raj is also coming. You guys should also come."

"I am coming? Oh yeah. I am coming. You should also come."
Raj asked but agreed when he saw Pihu's glare.

"I'll be there. Tell me the time and date."

"Me too."

"I'll inform my mom."
Maaya, Shivam and Shrishti said respectively.

Everybody turned towards Sameera and raised their eyebrows.

"We'll see."

Sameera was not in the mood to go anywhere. And Mumbai is very far.
Most disappointed person was Jay by that answer. Anybody who had a brain can understand that Sameera was straight up refusing.

"Oh, come on Sameera. It'll be fun."

"Yeah."

"Okay. I'll ask my mom. It's depends on her."

She said. It was true that she had to ask her mom for going somewhere as fas as Mumbai.
And opinion of a certain somebody was also needed.
