"Because it is how it is done. There's no why!!"
Shrithik yelled at Sameera. He's been trying to teach her some grammar and she's questioning him. DUMBLY.
She's not understanding that something are universal rules. There's no explanation for that

"But why? Why can't we use something else."

Shrithik glared at her and then flicked her head. Knocking on her forehead he leaned towards her. Talking to her forehead he said

"Hello! Is anybody there. Or is this floor empty. Hello Mr.Brain are you there? Are you?"

Sameera smacked his hand away and went to the kitchen. Shrithik also followed her.

"I mean, seriously how do you even manage to get in the top of your class with that almost non-existent brain of yours."

Sameera glared at him but ignored him. Shrithik stared at her. Did she just ignore him? How dare she ignore him.
Sameera reached for something on the top shelf but could not grab it. These two boys were tall and they kept things out of her reach.

Suddenly she felt air fanning her neck. Shrithik was standing too close to her. Slowly and sensually he grazed his arm on  hers and reached for the cereal box. Retreating his hand back he kept the box on the kitchen stand. Sameera was getting ticklish because of his breath and her breathing was also a little heavy. His face was way too close for her liking

Shrithik kept both of his hands on her waist and and then did the most unexpected thing. He tickled her. He tickled her till she was crying from laughing. Tears were streaming down and her stomach was also hurting from so much laughing.

"St-stop!!"
She said between her laughs. Shrithik also laughed.

"Will you ignore me from now on?"
He asked and stopped for a moment. She smiled at him sweetly.

"Yessssss. Forever."

And the tickling continues.

"Okay- ok-okay. I'll no-not do it. Just stop."

She said laughing. Both of them were laughing hard. He stopped tickling her.
Sameera was lying on the kitchen stand. She slowly sat up and Shrithik stood between her legs.

Both of them were grinning like idiots they are. He leaned in and hid his head on her shoulder. Still smiling he spoke

"That was fun."
His moving lips once again tickled her a little.

"What? Tickling me to death?"
She asked, threading his hairs from her fingers.

He looked up and grinned.
"Yes. Now get of the counter. I'm hungry and I want something to eat."

"I was doing that only. If you would have not tickled me that much, I would have made something to eat."
She grumbled and he brushed her off.

It has been an unspoken rule, but now Sameera was not allowed to cook. Shrithik never let her cook anything. It was a big thing that she was allowed in the kitchen. If Shrithik could he would ban her from there.
It was not like that she was a bad cook or something. It was just that, Shrithik was better and he also needed to do something.

Sameera was sitting on her table in the cafeteria chatting when her phone dinged. It was a message from Shrithik. His name was saved as old man.

Old man:
What does DILLIFC mean, sweetheart?

Sweetheart:
Do I look like I fucking care?

Old man:
That's not fair, sweetheart. You should
tell this innocent soul what it is.

Sameera let out a laugh. It was the meaning only. Shrithik can sometimes be so dense. She decided to have some fun.

Sweetheart:
No.
Why are you asking?

Old man:
No. I just saw a meme. And it was written in it.
Now tell me what it is?

                   Sweetheart:
Do I look like I fucking care?

Old man:
Just tell me sweetheart.
And why are you cussing so much?

Sweetheart:
I've told you many times old man.
Do I look like I fucking care?

Old man:
So you are not telling me?
Whome should I ask now. Wait. I'll ask from my online friends.

Sweetheart:
Do I look like I fucking care.

Sameera laughed loudly. This guy was so dense. Once again a notification popped up.

Old man:
You should have told me
earlier, sweetheart 😑

Sweetheart:
You were so fun.
Do I look like I fucking care.😂😂

Old man:
I'm sad.😔😔

Sweetheart:
Hi sad. I am sweetheart.

Old man:
Sweetheart? You should be named bitterheart.

Sweetheart:
That doesn't sound good. Does it?

Old man:
Exactly.
Fooling this poor soul.
And don't you have class today?

Sweetheart:
Naah. My last class completed thirty minutes ago.

Old man:
Then why are you still there?

Sweetheart:
Oh Come on old man. I'm a college student now.

Old man:
Okay okay.
Can you please bring my favourite sweet from the shop infront of your college? Please?
😙😙

Sweetheart:
Okay 😔
But what am I getting in return?

Old man:
I'll do belly dance for you.

Sweetheart:
Okay. Get ready to dance.
Bye.

Old man:
Bring me sweet sweets, sweetheart. Bye

Sameera sighed and kept her phone inside her pocket. She looked up to find her friends looking at her through intense gazes.
Raj raised her brow. Followed by Shrishti, Maaya and Pihu.

"Who was that?"
Shivam asked.

"No one? Why do you ask?"

"Because you were smiling and laughing like a idiot looking at it."
Shivam explained.

"Just a friend."

"Is it a boy?"
Maaya asked and Sameera slowly nodded.

"So now, you have a boyfriend and we don't know about him."
Shrishti accused.

"He's not my boyfriend. He's just a friend. And why do you think I will have a boyfriend. Have you not seen me?"

"We have and that's why we are asking."
Maaya said and all of them nodded.

"And your grin was too big. I've never seen you smiling this much chatting to me."
Shivam said and she glared.

"I do. I have this big smile on my face when I text you two. It doesn't mean you are my boyfriend. And how will you know whether I am smiling or not when I text you?"

"You've got a point there."
Pihu said and everybody glared at her including Raj. But Sameera was giving her thankful looks.

"Okay. So he is not your boyfriend. But what is his name?"
Shrishti asked and Sameera opened her mouth to tell them that his name is old man. But she remembered that old man is not his name.
What's his name once again. She remembered him telling her on their first meet and Shrey also addressed him by that.
It was Shree- Shrithik.

"Yeah. Shrithik. Shrithik Chauhan."

They gave her a bored look.
"What's his real name Sameera. It took you so long to tell, so it must be a alias."

"No guys. It is real. I just-"

"Don't tell me you forgot his name because of a dumb nickname."
Raj said and Sameera sighed.

"It's true."

He burst out laughing and she hit his shoulder. Letting out a gritted shut up.

"Seriously darling. You need to remember names. And let me tell you one thing, tell this boy, whoever it is that you have enough friends and he is not needed."
Shivam said and she made a face.

"Okay. And I hate you all."
She said pointing her finger to everybody. Stopping at Pihu she said

"Only you are the one who understands me Pihu. These people are very bad. Very very bad."

Pihu giggled and Raj looked at her adoringly. Maaya noticed that once that admiration was only there for Sameera. Now she is sharing her best friend.

But Sameera didn't seem to mind that she has to share her best friend. Her thinking was cut off by Sameera's phone.

She managed to get a glimpse of the caller ID. Some old man was calling.
Intresting.

Sameera glanced at her phone. Shrithik was calling her. Oh no. Just now she had explained her friends that they were just friends. And if they, by any how got to know that she was talking to him then she's gonna be teased for lifetime.
So she just silenced her phone amd continued her talking.
He called two more times but she just silenced her phone, not picking up the call.

Shrithik on the other hand got worried because she never ignored a phone call unless it was very important. He wanted to tell her which sweet he was asking for. He quickly picked up his shirt and went to her college.
He was panicking. What if something happened to her. What if she was kidnapped. What if- no he should not think this much. She must be in her class. But her class was over thirty minutes ago. She must be busy.

His heart was literally in his throat when he entered the cafeteria of her college. There she was sitting, laughing quietly in her usual vibrating manner. He calmed down slightly. Slowly walking towards her and plopping down beside her. Sameera startled but relaxed as soon as she saw it was him. She still sometimes got startled, because he always came from behind her.

Shrithik relaxed his hammering heart. He saw Shrishti talking sweetly to Shivam. But strangely he didn't get jealous. She was looking so cute talking to him that way. He smiled looking at her. He almost zoned out, but a throat clearing prevented him from zoning out completely. He looked at Sameera and glared at her.
He was going to make scenarios of his and Shrishti's marriage.

Sameera just giggled and pointed at his face.
"You are drooling, old man."

He sat up straight and touched his lips. They were perfectly dry. And how did she know with his beard? He glared at her and then pinched her hard.

"Aaah. Fucking devil!"
She shouted and then cupped her mouth.

"What happened?"
Shivam asked and she glared at Shrithik who was chilling.

"Nothing. Just a mosquito taking his revenge. You know I killed his girlfriend."

Raj gave her a dead look.
"So now mosquitoes have girlfriends? You really have to stop this, Sameera please. I can't take it anymore."

Sameera glared at Raj.
"Shut up, my dear. Otherwise you will also end up with my mosquito's girlfriend."

"Look. She has the possession over her mosquito also. Maybe she was jealous of his girlfriend."

Maaya commented and everyone burst out laughing. Including Sameera. That girl could laugh on herself.

Shrithik whispered
"Jealous, huh?"

She scowled at him. She really didn't like him whispering. It felt sensual and kinda...... seductive. But what can he do? It's not like he can talk freely.

"Should we go home?"
She asked him and he nodded.

"Guys, I should head home now. Bye."
Without listening to any response she made her way out with Shrithik following her.

When she was out of the campus, he tugged at her wrist. She looked at him and questioned him with her expression.

He nodded towards the small sweet shop on the other side of the road. Then asked innocently, tilting his head to the side.

"My sweets?"
She groaned but dragged her feet towards the sweet shop.
Shrithik was literally jumping up and down on his place when she was making the payment.

His face lit up like a light bulb when she handed him the sweet box. She looked at him and chuckled.
He was acting like a child.

If anybody saw him now, nobody will believe that Shrithik was a seventy year- well twenty four years old guy. And that his whispers were seductive five minutes ago.
Nobody will believe that.
NOBODY.
