Ahaan frowned when he noticed the main door of his apartment slightly ajar. He feared if there is a thief in his apartment, but then the thief won't be stupid to leave the door open. Ahaan looked around for something to hold so he won't be unarmed. But he couldn't find anything. So, he read silent prayers and entered.

His apartment completely dark, as he reached the room he is awestruck to see candles, on the floor.

It is decorated to form a heart and in between, there are more candles making an

I love you, fatso!

Ahaan blinked confusedly.

Suddenly a song began to play, he is startled but hearing the song he got an idea who could this be.

Tu Shayar hai... (female version)

Main teri Shayari...

Tu Aashiq hai...

Main teri Aashiqui

'Rifaat?' Ahaan called dropping his laptop bag on the sofa, a smile on his face. He hadn't seen Rifaat whole day. He was worried when she didn't come to the office. Casually, he asked Mr. Siddiqui and came to know that she has taken a day off.

His smile widened when Rifaat came from inside the kitchen, she held a tray with two cups of strawberry ice-creams. Ahaan is confused with the ice-creams, but he gets distracted when he noticed how beautiful Rifaat looked. The dimly lit light made her look even more beautiful.

Ahaan found his breath getting stuck in his throat when he noticed her attire. Simple chiffon royal blue saree and ivory cap-sleeved blouse. Her hair open and simple makeup adorned her face. Ahaan is stunned.

Rifaat smiled seeing the effect she has on him, she walked towards the dining table and placed the tray on the table. Her hair moved little revealing her back and Ahaan gulped.

'Liked everything?' she asked once she had reduced the volume of the radio. Ahaan nodded, his gaze stuck on her. Rifaat smiled and walked towards him.

'You...were...' Ahaan's voice trembled and he felt goosebumps when Rifaat wound her arms loosely around his neck.

'I was working on us whole day.' She said looking closely at Ahaan. She admired him.

'But...' he stopped speaking, his eyes widened when she placed her finger on his lips.

'Shh...You talk too much...should I close your mouth?' she smirked eyeing his lips and Ahaan gulped again.

Rifaat took a step back and forwarded her wrist, Ahaan looked at for few seconds before hurrying into his room. Rifaat smiled watching him.

Soon he came back holding the red velvet box. He opened it and Rifaat's smile widened reading the I love you, Rifaat.

'Are you sure?' Ahaan asked as he removed the bracelet from the box.

'2000% positive.' She said forwarding her wrist again. Ahaan smiled and made her wear the bracelet. She moved her hand closer to her face and admired the bracelet.

More than the bracelet, it is his love that is making it look so beautiful. Ahaan watched her. Rifaat then looked up at him, she extended her hand and held his making his heart skip a beat. She took him to the dining table.

'For sweetness in our relationship, let's start with an ice-cream.' She said forwarding him a cup of ice-cream. Ahaan smiled and took the bowl from her. She pulled out a chair for him and he sat, she sat beside him.

They kept glancing at each other as they ate the ice-cream.

'Rifaat, everything is so perfect. Thank you.' Ahaan said once they were done eating ice-cream. Rifaat smiled shaking her head, 'I should be the one thanking you, Ahaan. You not only helped me find love again but also helped me face my fears and come out from my past.' She said. This confused Ahaan. Rifaat sighed and looked away, 'I had gone to meet Hariz.' She said.

Ahaan's expression changed from confusion to anger, anger on Hariz.

'Why did you go there alone? He could have hurt you. God, did he hurt you?' Ahaan held her shoulders and looked at her carefully. Rifaat smiled though she is touched by his concern.

'This is why I didn't tell you,' she moved his hands, 'I didn't want to worry you, besides,' Rifaat held his hand, 'I wanted to face my past alone.' She said.

'But...'

'Shh...' Rifaat placed her finger on his lips shutting him up once again. Ahaan glanced her finger while she glanced at his lips. They are still for a minute before Rifaat broke the trance and took a step back.

'I needed to close the chapter on my own. It was little difficult and I had to be very, very strong. It was difficult. The thing is, I had loved him once, loved him with my everything, heart, and soul. And meeting him after so long, it did bring old memories and feelings back but my love for you overpowered everything. And meeting Hariz was my best decision. It helped clear many things. And you are one of them.' Rifaat finished.

Ahaan nodded his head, he is glad Rifaat is fine and Hariz didn't hurt her. But then he frowned when Rifaat began giggling.

'What?'

'I just remembered Hariz's face when I told him I love you.' Rifaat said in between her giggles and continued laughing.

Rifaat recollected how Hariz had held her hand and stopped her from leaving, he demanded to know who is the man she loved. First, he didn't understand when she had said Ahaan's name, but when she said Ahaan is the same fatso, who she used to make fun of and he used to bully. Hariz was shocked, he had laughed but then seeing the seriousness on Rifaat's face he had realized she wasn't lying.

They had then gotten into argument again, and he called names to Rifaat and Ahaan's relationship. Rifaat had argued back with an equal fury and left him, left him to never look at him again. Their chapter closing for the final time, or so Rifaat thought.
