Next day, is Sunday, a holiday. Early morning, Rifaat got call from Sheela Tai stating she might not come today as her husband has slipped and sprained his leg. Rifaat then got up and got into the bathroom for a bath. As she hung her towel her gaze fell on her diamond ring, her engagement ring, her pretend engagement ring. A bright smile appeared on her face as she recollected last night.

After a bath, she got dressed in her casual wear, a long orange spaghetti strap top, and long blue skirt. She tied her hair in a bun and made herself a coffee. As she sat sipping her coffee she noticed the fan above her is dirty.

'Here!' Ahaan handed his parents their passports and tickets, he then glanced at his watch, it is 10 am and his parent's flight is in Two.

'Give this to Rifaat beta.' His mother said shoving some money into Ahaan's hand.

'Ask her if she will come with us to the airport.' Mr. Qazmi asked. Ahaan didn't argue, he nodded.

He left his apartment to Rifaat's apartment. He frowned on noticing her apartment door open. For a second, Ahaan wondered if there are guests in her house. He thought if he should leave or come in. But then, he decided to enter, in case anyone is there he will leave. Carefully, he opened the door.

He peeped in, there is no sound of people talking. Perhaps, there isn't anyone in the house. He walked through the small corridor and into the living room. He saw Rifaat standing on a small stool holding a broom. As she cleaned the fan, the hem of her top climbed up exposing little of her waist. Ahaan quickly looked blushing little.

He lowered his gaze and walked towards her, 'Hey!' his voice startled Rifaat, she lost her balance the small stool wobbled.

'Oh!' she fell to her side, and top of Ahaan. Everything happened in the speed of light that Ahaan didn't have time to balance himself and together they fell. Rifaat's broom slipped from her hand and on the floor.

Rifaat felt something under her and she opened her eyes, her gaze met Ahaan's and she realized she has fallen over him. Ahaan looked at her, his arms loosely around her while Rifaat has her palms rest on his chest.

They looked at each other.

As they stared at each other, accidently Ahaan's gaze slipped to her cleavage and to the little of her maroon bra, the loose Tee hung low exposing it. Ahaan quickly looked away, his heart fluttered.

Rifaat quickly climbed off him and sat beside him, she pushed back random strands of her hair and tugged it behind her ear, her cheek burned. Ahaan also sat up straight adjusting his shirt. They began looking everywhere but at each other.

'I.... came...to give you this.' Ahaan forwarded the envelope his mother had given. Rifaat looked at the envelope, her gaze then fell on the ring in his finger. Rifaat felt happy on seeing that Ahaan hasn't removed the ring she had made him wear. She took the envelope.

'What is this?' she asked confusedly. Ahaan explained that his mother has given this for her and today they are leaving back to Delhi.

'I will come to the airport.' Rifaat smiled at Ahaan. He nodded.

Ahaan then stood up, he extended his hand. Rifaat took his hand and he helped her stand. Rifaat muttered thanks, she then offered him coffee but Ahaan refused politely.

'After the storm is gone we will have coffee together.' He smiled at her. Rifaat agreed.

*************************

Ahaan's mother is checking the home for last minute search of ''if she left something.''

'Hurry up, Ma!' Ahaan said annoyed as he wheeled the luggage out, his father already stood by the door.

'One minute, beta.' His mother called from inside. Ahaan looked at his father irritated who flashed a helpless look to his son. Annoyed, Ahaan looked away. Just then, Rifaat's apartment door opened and she stepped out. Ahaan for a minute is stunned on looking her new avatar. She is dressed in a traditional yet a modern wear, yellow high slit chiffon yellow kurtha and black churidar pant. Her hair tied in a perfect French braid, resting on her left shoulder and on her right shoulder is a black dupatta spread on one side. She looked up at Ahaan, he couldn't look away. She has worn less makeup, only a dark kohl enhancing her eyes and red lip gloss. Looking at her for Ahaan everything blurred and only she existed.

Ahaan looked away only when his mother's voice rang in his ears, 'all done.' she said right in his ear. Rifaat smiled, she liked the way Ahaan looked at her. Something about his stare felt pure and innocent and she has begun to enjoy his attention.

'Wah, beta! You are looking so beautiful.' Mrs. Qazmi said happily. Rifaat smiled at her.

Mr. Qazmi nudged Ahaan's arm, he looked at his father and then quickly looked away, his cheek slightly red.

Ahaan helped his father place luggage in the trunk of the car while the ladies sat in the back seat of the car. Ahaan is disappointed that Rifaat is sitting in the back seat.

Luckily, for him, Rifaat sat in the extreme corner right behind him. Ahaan made full use of this opportunity and kept glancing at Rifaat from the side-view mirror. Once, Rifaat caught him. Quickly, he looked away but then looked again this from the corner of his eyes. He caught Rifaat's gaze, she smiled and winked at him. Ahaan looked away, a shy smile on his lips.

Through the rest of the journey, both kept stealing glances at each other.

Ahaan climbed down first, he opened the door and Rifaat and his mom climbed down. Ahaan paid the driver as Mrs. Qazmi spoke something to Rifaat. Ahaan and the driver removed the luggage.

Ahaan wheeled the luggage towards the departure gate with his parents right behind him, Mr. Qazmi asking Mrs. Qazmi if she has brought tickets and passport, and she has her gaze and hands into her purse and checking everything. Rifaat walked beside Ahaan.

'I am going to miss you, beta!' Mr. Qazmi side-hugged Ahaan.

'See you after one month.' Mrs. Qazmi hugged Rifaat. She then hugged Ahaan and kissed his cheeks and forehead bidding her goodbyes.

The couple waved at Ahaan and Rifaat before entering the gate, Rifaat and Ahaan waved back. As his parents disappeared into the crowd through the gate, Ahaan felt emotional. Rifaat held his arm and he looked at her forcing a smile.

'Let us have coffee.' She suggested. Ahaan nodded.
