"Alfie, I need to talk to you," I spoke tugging on his arm to get his attention.

"What is it, Dudette?! The Hero is always happy to help!"

"Alfie, this is serious," I noticed his facial expression change and I continued, "You're going to be a father."

"You're kidding, right Dudette?!" he asked with a slight smile on his face.

"No, I'm not kidding Alfie. You're really going to be a father," I replied, a smile tugging at my lips. I placed a hand on my stomach, "You're going to be an amazing father. I just know it," I continued, placing my hand on his cheek, "I love you so much."

"i love you too, both of you," he responded, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and resting his hand on my stomach, "I will be here for you. No matter what."

"Thanks, Alfie. Do you want to tell Matthew?"

"Yeah, my little bro deserves to know!"

"Wow, you actually remembered who he is. Well done. I'll go and call him," I replied grabbing my phone before ringing Matthew's number.

"Mattie, could you come over? Me and Alfie want to talk to you about something."

"Okay, I'd be happy to come. I wasn't busy anyway."

"Yay! See you soon, Mattie!"

"Bye, (Y/n)."

I hung up and snuggled with Alfred on the sofa waiting for Matthew to come.

We heard the doorbell ring and I stood up to answer it, "Mattie! Come in!" I opened the door wider and let him.

"Little bro! How ya doing?"

"Um, I'm older than you, Alfred. But, I'm great, none the less."

"Good! Because you're reaction could go one of two ways. Mattie, you're going to want to sit down for this."

"Okay," he replied before sitting down on the sofa. I looked to Alfred giving him a 'you tell him. He's your brother' look.

"Matthew, you're going to be an uncle."

"Really? Yay!" he replied a soft smile on his face.

"And that, is how your father and uncle reacted when I told them about you," I told the now five-year-old who had asked the question, "Is that a satisfactory answer?"
