So, my brain thought of this.

----------------

Different. Freak. Waste of Space. Worthless.

That's what my parents called me. Or at least, they would, if they hadn't abandoned me when I was a baby. I wandered the streets of the city for the first five years of my life, up until an accidental bump, changed my life.

FLASHBACK

I was wandering the streets of the city looking for food to eat. I was weak, and no one helped me. This was because I had heterochromia. I had two different coloured eyes. One was a normal (E/c) colour but the other was a vibrant (F/c). My parents had abandoned me the minute they were able to. This was when I was two. However, I had been walking around, holding my stomach when I bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry!" I squeaked when they bent down and looked at me, not in the eye though, "I didn't mean to bump into you!"

"It's okay, Chérie. There's nothing to worry about."

I finally looked him in the eye, "I'm sorry. I've just been looking for food. My parents abandoned me when they saw this," I replied, pointing to my (F/c) eye, and starting to tear up.

"Chérie, would you like to come home with moi?"

"Really? You'd just take a random child in?"

"We can't have you on the streets now can we, Chérie?"

"Thank you."

"Now, what's your name, Chérie?"

"(Y/n)."

-------------------------------FLASHBACK END

And that's how I met my adoptive brother. Although, Francis was more like a father to me, with the age difference. As I grew up, I started wearing an eyepatch to cover up my (F/c) eye. I didn't want anyone else to know about it. Francis was the only one I removed it for and this was only due to that when he found me, I didn't have the eyepatch.

However, this also led me to make one of my best friends. Alfred made me laugh every day, even when I was feeling down, he made me happy. There was one day though, that changed how people saw me.

It was lunchtime when Alfred said something that annoyed me: He called Francis a pervert and this got me angry, "Alfred! He's not!"

"Of course you're standing up to him! He's your brother!"

"Adoptive brother technically, but it's still not right, Alfred!" I shouted back at him, "You can't go around saying that sort of thing!" I continued.

"I'm just stating facts, Dudette!"

This annoyed me and I tackled him onto the ground, "Never, ever say that again!"

"What you gonna do about it, Dudette?" He asked before turning us over so that he was on top of me, "Cause the last time I checked, I was stronger than you!" he continued before reaching to the back of my head and removing the eyepatch. His eyes widened and I shoved him off me, running out of the room and outside to a tree. I flopped down and cried, "Why? Why did he have to pull it off? Now he's never going to love me."

"Chérie?" I looked up to see Francis, "Are you okay?"

"Does it look like I'm okay? Why? He's never going to accept me now and he's not going to want to be my friend anymore, hence ruining my chances with him." I sobbed again and dug my head onto my legs, after hunching up in a ball, leaning my back on the tree. I soon felt an arm wrap around my shoulder, "I'm sure he won't Chérie. I'm sure he'll still be friends with you and return your feelings."

"Yeah right."

MEANWHILE - AMERICA'S POV

God, that's beautiful. Why didn't she tell me? (y/n), you're so pretty.

"What are you doing, Wanker?!" I snapped out my thoughts when Arthur spoke, "Huh?"

"You're daydreaming, Wanker."

"Why didn't she tell me?" I asked.

"Probably because she thought you'd think differently of her. She's grown a crush on you. Why can't you just see it?"

My eyes widened and I dashed outside to find (Y/n). I eventually found her, being comforted by Francis. I took a deep breath and cleared my throat, "Hey, (Y/n)."

YOUR POV

"Hey, (Y/n)."

I looked up when I heard Alfred's voice, "So, you say horrible things about Francis and then you pull my eyepatch off after I specified that it doesn't get taken off and all you have to say for yourself is 'hey'? Alfred, I'm disappointed in you," I spoke before digging myself back into Francis, "You can leave now, Alfred. I'll have to let go of my crush you cause there's no way you'd want to be friends with a freak like me, let alone date me, not that you act-" I was cut from my rant when I was knocked onto the ground, "(Y/n), never ever say you're a freak. You're not. I don't care what colour your eyes are, I'll always love you."

I was confused, "Y-You love me?"

He nodded and leaned down, kissing me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.

"You know, Dudette, I think it makes you even more beautiful."
