Before Blaine could even take one more step towards me, I turned and ran.

I pumped my legs faster the moment I heard a thundering growl quake through the woods. I knew they were close behind but I continued to run, dodging trees and heading straight for the territory line.

I knew I had a chance to escape if I managed to get across to my father's land but there still was a chance that Blaine would ignore the laws of the territories just to catch me.

I wanted to turn around to see how far away he was but I continued running knowing that he probably wasn't far behind. Luckily, I had Alpha blood so I was faster than any of them, except from Blaine.

As I got closer to the territory line, my wolf began crying, trying to fight against the separation I was trying to put between us and our mate.

I refused to turn back. How could my mate be Blaine Diesel? I've heard the stories. They say he's a malicious monster with no heart. Too evil for a mate. He takes pleasure in torturing and taking lives especially after his father took his mothers and emotionally his. At the age of fifteen he trained his pack to be tough, to be the best.

The Dark Apollo is a powerful pack and was built to be ruthless and cruel.

I could just see the boundary line when I was tackled to the ground with a loud thump. But the person shifted me so that they would take the brunt of the fall causing me to be left without a graze.

I found myself being lifted off the ground with my back still leaning against a rock hard chest. I stiffened in shock as he twisted me around in his arms to face him.

I forced myself to look at him. We both stared at each other in silence neither of us saying a word. All I could feel was sparks shooting up my arms sending small warm shocks through my body. His fingers gently followed down the scar on my cheek but didn't question it but there was unknown anger reflecting in his eyes.

My eyes were glued to his face; waiting for a reaction, for him to say something. Not only did his intimidating figure look completely furious, a glint of hurt flashed through his emerald green eyes.

Even though I wasn't ready for a mate, let alone be mates with an Alpha a wave of hurt flew through my body. I bit my bottom lip anxiously as I continued to look into his eyes.

"Why did you run from me?" He lowly growled, his voice stiff.

Words were unable to leave my mouth, all I wanted was to get away. So I attempted to pull away from him, trying to squirm my way out of his grip. Only to have him growl possessively, not allowing me to move from his embrace. I growled back annoyed, pushing at his chest but he only tightens his hold on me.

"Let me go!" I whined as he gripped me tighter around my waist to keep me locked there while pressing me closer to his chest.

"No. You're my mate." He growled, taking in deep breaths to calm his wolf. He didn't like the fact that I wanted out of his arms.

Wolves are very big on companionship, and very territorial, especially Alphas.

I knew the story about how my parents met, that my dad rejected my mom and left her pregnant with me unknowingly. How they accidently bumped into each other four years later, and my dad discovering he had a daughter. Forcing my mother to come back to his territory, promising her to never let her go as she was his like he was hers. She soon gave up fighting him and fell in love with the man she always wanted.

I wasn't going to reject Blaine; I just wasn't ready to be fully his yet. I knew he would be a protective and possessive mate, only wanting me to be by him. Whereas I would want to stay on my father's land and attend college before mating and becoming the Luna of his pack.

"I'm not anyone's possession, Blaine. Let me go, I want to go home." I said. I wanted to curse our mate connection, I was hoping I wouldn't find my mate until I was in my mid-twenties.

He looked at me intently before looking over my shoulder. I was too focused on Blaine to notice the 5 pack wolves that I met earlier, were standing behind us the whole time.

"Adrian, I need you to call off the trackers seeing as we've found the trespasser." Blaine ordered his Beta.

Ah so that's his name; Adrian. "Okay Alpha, what are you doing with..." He trailed on looking at me.

"My house." He said immediately without thought. I frowned aggregately, he hadn't even asked me what I wanted to do he had just assumed I was going to his.

"No, I'm going home." I say pulling out of his embrace causing distance between us.

He tried to reach out to grab me but I took a step back. "I don't think so." Blaine said defiantly with narrowed eyes daring me to answer him back.

"I'm going home. You can't keep me here Blaine." I began to walk away when I was suddenly turned around to a furious looking Alpha.

Within seconds I was shoved over his shoulder.

"PUT ME DOWN, NOW!" I screamed. I tried to kick and shuffle but nothing worked. It was no use, he was so much stronger than me, and the most damage I'd done was probably messing up his hair.

He continued to ignore me as he began to give orders to his pack members while I shouted at him to put me down but he simply acted like I wasn't there. I growled as he started walking to what I assumed was his house.

"I swear if you don't put me down right now," I growled. "I'm not your object or possession." It was a low blow and took everything in me to say, I didn't want to do it but being hung upside down for so long was making my head throb and he was pissing me off with his over controlling ways.

He instantly put me down with me still in his arms; his eyes blazing with fire and determination. I could see his wolf wanting out as he stared at me with a cocky smirk plastered on his beautiful face. "Baby, you may not be an object but you do belong to me."

I narrowed my eyes at his comment, it secretly gave me butterflies, not that I would admit it.

I turned, looking in the direction of my father's territory. I contemplated for a moment, wondering if I could make it there before Blaine could catch me once again.

Against my better judgment, I decided to make a run for it, and I most certainly was not going to look back after hearing an enraged growl rip through Blaine's throat.

Once again, I soon found myself shoved over my mates shoulder.

I huffed annoyed as he simply began walking again not bothering to shout at me but from the tenseness from his muscles I was glad. I also decided to stay silent until I felt like he was partly calm.

"Don't even try to get away again." He finally spoke after ten minutes of silence.

A shiver went through me at the sound of his voice. I continued to stay silent, not really knowing what to say. We would only argue if I replied. Ten minutes later we were finally walking out of the woods, and from what I could see we were in a meadow.

It looked utterly beautiful, new flowers were blooming and green grass was swaying in the direction of the wind. It seemed like it would be the best place to go if you needed space, to clear your head of any clouded thoughts.

I was obviously too mesmerized with the meadow to notice that we had entered the clearing to his house.

But he still didn't put me down, as he walked straight into his house. Trying to examine his home upside down was a difficult task. But from what I could make out, it felt very welcoming and homey which was surprising since this was Blaine's house.

He made his way up the stairs with his hand on my butt. I bite back a growl of annoyance as I was actually secretly enjoying it.

He finally turned into a room and placed me back on the ground but not before closing the door with his foot. I felt slightly dizzy after being upside down for so long, so he held onto me to stop me from stumbling everywhere.

I took a moment to gain my composure but when I did, I quickly looked around noticing that we were in his room. His scent stained the room causing the wolf inside of me to stir.

"What's your name?" He asked pulling me from my thoughts, as I looked up at him.

"Kennedy Black but I prefer Kenny."

He raised an eyebrow at my answer. "Alpha Gabriel's daughter, from the Black Moon Pack?" He questioned.

I nodded keeping my eyes on him. "I'm Blaine Diesel, Alpha of the Dark Apollo Pack." He stated with pride laced in his voice, making me smile slightly.

"I know who you are - I've heard the stories."

"And what stories would those be?"

I shrugged my shoulders. What could I say? Oh well you know, that you killed your own father and I was wondering if it was true?

"Well, its nice meeting you but it really is time for me to leave." Making my way round him, I had just put my hand on the door handle and had it opened slightly, when a fist smacked against the door causing it to slam close with a huge bang.

My body was then slammed against the now closed door as I stared into the dark eyes of my mate. He looked utterly pissed. His eyes glowing with rage and his body shaking in pure anger. "What did I say? You will not run from me." He said through clenched teeth.

Everything about him was intimidating, overbearing, controlled and dominate.

I really wanted to reply with something super sarcastic like 'Yeah, well, I want a purple unicorn but I haven't gotten one.' but instead decided to go down the way which would most likely keep me out of trouble.

"And if I refuse to abide by your rules?" I questioned.

He looked at me through narrowed eyes before whispering in a deadly serious tone, "This."

Before I could even say anything he leaned down and sunk his teeth deep into my neck marking me as his.

Pain coursed through my body as it slowly turned into pleasure and I moaned softly then I felt myself getting physically drained as my feelings turned to anger.

That was my last thought before black spots invaded my vision.
