I was like a deer in front of headlights, my eyes went wide as I stared at my mate. I began to nibble on my lip, unsure on how to reply.

I had two choices either be honest or make up a lie. I knew if I lied he would instantly know, as having mates did have its downfalls.

"You see, uhm, yes well, I was looking for the bathroom?" I mentally slapped myself for answering as if I was questioning myself. I was clearly lying and my eyes automatically closed when I heard his soft chuckle.

"Oh really?" He whispered close to my ear, amusement clear in his voice.

I didn't say anything, only nodding in response. Blaine moved his hands to my waist pulling me against his hard chest making my wolf purr at the sheer closeness and affection of our mate, as his presence excited her.

"Umm" He mumbled against the tender skin of my neck leaving a sensual burning sensation upon my skin.

I was struggling to keep my calm composure, Blaine was purposely teasing me and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't resist.

He slowly moved his hands up my waist making me feel like my insides were on fire. He nestled his head in my neck, and began kissing and sucking on my skin. I knew he was going to leave love bites on my neck but I was too focused on how good his lips felt on my skin to care.

I bit back a suppressed moan not wanting to let him think he had the upper hand but I failed miserably when he nipped at my weak spot. My wolf was going wild and wanted nothing more than to come forward and take over so that she could tease Blaine and his wolf the same way.

A moan escaped my lips and I blushed. Blaine laughed quietly causing him to breathe on my neck and a shudder to run through my body. He soon let go of my waist, placing his hand on the small of my back and began to carefully direct me in the direction of the kitchen.

The kitchen was huge and spacious. Light gleamed through the window onto the shiny utensils of the kitchen. Hi-tech appliances all strangely fitted in with the Spanish traditional feel of the old house.

I spotted a lady about my height, standing by the counter stirring food in a large pot. She had a petite build, blonde hair and warm green eyes. I could tell her mate was a Beta from the power radiating off of her.

"Oh hello, I'm Lena," She greeted staring at me before looking to Blaine with a questioning look before looking back at me. "I didn't realise we had any gues-" She continued but stopped when her line of sight went to the base of neck where Blaine's mark laid.

A surprised gasp left her mouth before an excited squeal left it. Her hands instantly flew to her face as she looked towards me, her eyes dancing with happiness. I was instantly pulled into her embrace as she hugged me tightly, welcoming me into the pack.

Her presence screamed maternal and loving, I fully understood how Blaine saw this lady as a mother figure. After pulling away from me, she pulled Blaine to her, rubbing her hands up and down his back, congratulating him on finding his mate. He kissed her on her forehead, smiling widely before pulling me to his side.

I was sure my whole face was flushed a deep pink at his open affection. This only caused Lena to giggle and Blaine to smile wider.

"You're so beautiful, Luna." She complimented me, using the official rank name. Being an Alphas mate meant that I would now be addressed by the name Luna, in a sign of respect.

"Oh no, please call me Kenny." I rushed out, causing her to smile kindly at me. I felt too young to be called Luna and the thought of having the official title sent a small wave of fright down my spine. It was a huge responsibility and luckily for Blaine he had been named the Alpha for the Dark Apollo Pack since he was 15 giving him 7 years' experience.

We continued to talk about everything and anything, Lena even invited me to dinner later on tonight which I kindly accepted.

The sound of a door bashing open startled all three of us. Blaine's arms instantly pulled me and Lena behind him protectively before getting into a predatorily stance, prepared to fight any on coming danger.

We all eyed the kitchen door waiting for the intruder to enter.

Only to hear the sound of Blaine's Betas voice ringing through the house as he continued to shout for his Alpha.

Irritated growls emitted from Blaine's throat and he eases his tensed muscles, changing into a calmer stance knowing it was his Beta making an uninvited attendance.

"What Adrian?" Blaine questions with a threatening growl, he was clearly annoyed that his Beta had put him on edge assuming a threat.

Blaine exhales angrily through his nose and his jaw tenses as he awaits the answer to his question. Adrian visibly cringed at his Alphas demanding tone, and his mother Lena was frowning in annoyance.

Adrian looks towards me before looking back at Blaine as if asking permission to whether or not he could say what he needed to say in front of me and Lena. After a stern nod from his Alpha he began talking.

"Alpha Gabriel of the Black Moon pack is here and he and his pack are refusing to leave." My head instantly darted towards my mate, wanting to see his reaction but his expression gave away nothing; he stood still with a calm demeanour.

After hearing my father's name, I felt relief and sorrow. Even though I attempted to escape from Blaine multiple times, I was beginning to get used to his presence.

The longer we spend together the stronger our mate connection gets. I may have only been with him one day but because I bare his mark I will forever be his.

The mate pull was indescribable.

"Gather up some men and have them meet us by the clearing." He spoke using his alpha tone. Adrian just nodded and exited the room, leaving in silence.

Blaine turned round, facing Lena and I. He was about to open his mouth and I knew that he was going to tell me to stay here. So before he got the chance to speak, I spoke. "I'm coming with you Blaine. He's my dad and I want to see him."

"No, you're staying here. Your father and his men will be leaving my territory; he knows the rules about entering an Alphas land without permission."

His words made me tense a little. Entering a packs territory without permission was punishable by death and I knew Blaine wasn't merciful when it came to intruders whether innocent or not.

I also knew that he only wanted me to stay here, fearful that I would demand to leave with my father if I was to go with him.

"Blaine, please. They're my family and because of your mark I automatically joined your pack and left theirs. You know they would have felt the ties between them and I disappear."

"No Kennedy. You're going to stay in this house with Lena," He had a hard look in his eyes telling me that this wasn't up for discussion and I frowned. "I've only just found you and I'm not willing to let you go. Seeing your pack will only make you want to leave, especially after yesterday."

"I won't leave you; I just want to see my family. Don't get me wrong, I'm still angry that you thought you could forcefully mark me without my consent." I wanted him as my mate, but his dominance and power was slightly scary.

A gasp was heard, Lena was shocked at the news of how he marked me. From the look on her face I knew she would be discussing what she heard with him later which made me smile knowing he was going to get a scolding.

"That's exactly why you're not leaving this house."

"Blaine," I said with a low growl. "That's not fair; you can't keep me from my family. I want to be mated to you but how can I if you think some of your actions are excusable with the answer of 'It would have happened anyway.' I've been trying to leave because you're so possessive and demanding."

"It's true; we were born to be mates. You are the Luna of the Dark Apollo Pack and that's something you're going to have to get used to." I was taken aback by his choice of words, they were harsh.

"You never gave me a choice! You gave me that position without talking to me about it." My voice began to rise more and more as his words repeated over and over in my mind.

His eyes turned black not liking that I was shouting at him. "Kenny," He warned.

I sighed but mentally rolled my eyes, not wanting to anger him further, deciding to continue the argument with him later otherwise there would be no chance in changing Blaine's mind.

"Blaine that's my dad, he only wants to know that I'm safe. Let him see me, so that my family knows that I'm fine. I left abruptly yesterday after an argument with my mom so she's probably out of her mind with worry."

I was hoping that my words would persuade him to let me go with him but from the look on his face, it was still a no.

"You would do the same if it was your pup." I said softly.

I could practically see the internal battle through his eyes as he fought with his wolf over my comment. Having a family was a bit of a sore subject for him, it was something he valued tremendously.

Thankfully it worked, even if it was a low blow to use his emotions against him.

I watched him click his neck, moving his head side to side before a low growl hummed in the back of the throat. "You stay at my side the whole time, you can try to run but you will fail. I will slaughter each and every single wolf your father has brought with him if you even attempt to leave."

His words carried a promise and I knew he was capable of the underlining treat he gave me.

"Okay." I nodded. He gave me a small nod after staring into my eyes for a minute trying to see if I was up to anything.

Grabbing my hand and quickly giving Lena a kiss to the cheek, he began telling her to stay inside of the house, making sure to mention guards surrounding the building. Blaine then pulled me through the house and towards the front entrance.

As we began walking into the woods, I turned around to look at the house noticing all the muscled men some even in their wolf form surrounding the area, with a few of them following behind us.

It didn't take long for us to get to the clearing where I heard one of the men tell Blaine that my father was here. Blaine's grip tightened on my hand as we began to feel the presence of pack wolves, and the tense vibe that seemed to fill the air.

"I know she's here and I want to see her right now!" My father's voice echoed through the trees of the forest, you could hear his anger and the dominance of his wolf through his tone. Blaine pulled me faster towards the clearing when the sounds of growling entered our hearing.

Wolves are extremely protective of their young and can sense when they're in danger. My father has always been over-protective of me especially after I was kidnapped by my mother's ex and a crazed rogue Alpha.

"Kenny!" My mom shouts relief laced in her voice as she runs towards me. She instantly pulls me into her arms and into a tight embrace and a small smile found its way to my face.

A low growl left Blaine's mouth and he pulled me out of my mother's hold and into his. He was feeling protective and possessive, not wanting to let me go especially since he just marked me.

His wolf was feeling on edge due to not fully mating with me.

A warning growl left my father's mouth as he pulled my mom into his arms placing her protectively to his side. Both Blaine's pack members and my father's got into defensive positions, some even shifting to snarl and growl at each other.

"Please, no arguing," I pleaded to both packs. "This is unnecessary. Dad I'm fine, I found my mate and there's no need to worry." My dad eyed me from head to toe analysing whether or not I was harmed in anyway.

But his line of sight soon met the red mark embedded in the skin of my neck; his eyes going darker and darker the longer he stared at it.

My dad's eyes darted straight to Blaine's giving him an intense glare which Blaine equally returned. "Kennedy, come here." My father said calmly, with an edge of anger. I knew deep down that my dad's intentions were only to protect me.

Everyone knew who Blaine Diesel was and he didn't have the best reputation.

My dad used to tell me to never adventure out from our territory as the Dark Apollo pack was ruthless and cruel. When Blaine fights, he fights till death.

His whole body was covered in deep scars especially his chest and back all because his father had drilled the thought into his head as a young child.

"Dad, I-" I started, only to be interrupted by my dad. "Come here." He demanded with his alpha tone, it made me want to go over there but because I wasn't in his pack anymore I could fight it.

"Don't talk to her like that." Blaine said with the same tone my dad had used while pulling me closer to his body, not wanting to let me go.

It was clear that both Alphas were prepared to challenge each other but I knew Blaine would go for the kill whether his opponent was my father or not.

"I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to my daughter and we're about to leave." I saw my mom grip her arms tighter around my dad's body. "Gabriel." She said, calling his name but he ignored her, his eyes totally focused on me.

"My pup is coming back with me." A snarl left my father's mouth as he glared at my mate.

"She's my mate and my packs Luna and she's staying here with me." Blaine's voice slipped into a growl at the end as his eyes darkened.

"No,"

"Yes," Blaine said, his voice sounding low but deadly.

"My daughter is coming home with me!" My dad said with a snarl. I shifted round to face Blaine, holding onto his shirt tightly as he began to shake from anger, he was trying to hold his wolf back but he was struggling and the status of his wolf wasn't helping.

Two dominant Alphas in the same place at the same time was a deadly situation.

"Blaine," I whispered, gripping tighter to him making sure to push my body closer to his. I needed him and his wolf to calm down, if he starts a fight with my father a whole war will break out.

He looks down and raises his eyebrows at me. "You need to calm down." I say pleadingly. If Blaine's unable to establish some form of relationship with my parents then how could I accept him as my mate?

"Mine," He whispered lowly in my ear. The possessiveness in his voice worried me slightly while making me feel safe and protected at the same time.

The sound of my mom harshly telling my dad to stop growling caught our attention, bringing us out of own little bubble making my father and Blaine meet eye contact again.

Both Blaine's and my father's eyes were flashing black, their wolves both hovering at the edge of their minds ready to come out.

"I refuse to leave my daughter in the hands of you and your pack." My father said sternly, his voice held no hesitation and disgust. My dad has always been protective of his family especially his girls.

"Gabriel!" My mother scolded my father with her hand on her hip. "If I remember correctly, you got me pregnant at seventeen!" My dad gave my mom the flat look before his eyes suddenly went wide looking straight at my stomach.

My mouth widened as I realised what he was thinking. "I am not pregnant! I've only been gone for one day!" I shouted outraged, my face turning into the look of horror. "Unbelievable" I muttered.

"Well, sorry baby girl but you're already marked and you only left yesterday. How do I know if you even wanted to be marked?" Both mine and Blaine's bodies stiffened, with my eyes going slightly wider than normal.

A deep suspicious frown made its way on my father's face as he stared at both of us through narrowed eyes. "He did ask for your permission right?" He questioned with one eyebrow aching up. My mouth went dry as I tried to find the will to speak, knowing this would only end badly.
