WHEN PEOPLE THINK THE MALE PROTAGONIST'S A FILTHY RICH DUDE

WHEN PEOPLE THINK HE'S A STEREOTYPICAL BAD BOY THAT DRAGS AN IRRATIONAL FEMALE AROUND

What some people don't understand is that no matter what writing platform a story is on, as long as the author's work is protected by copyright, you absolutely CANNOT just reproduce and/or copy it. I shiz you not when I tell you you could go to jail for it. If you want attention, post naked selfies instead.(UPDATED 01/28/2018 I'm not changing this statement. If you're old enough to read, you're old enough to know you shouldn't post naked selfies online) It makes me sick on how other people think it's okay to steal somebody else's hardwork. Are they not aware of how many hours writers spend just to get a chapter done?

Even - especially on Wattpad, these sickos think they could get away with it. We get it, the majority of us aren't part of the big league but we work hard and put just as much effort as the next person. We make mistakes on our grammar, our spacing, all that shiz but that does not give you any right to copy our babies. The votes, the comments, you know they aren't meant for you.

It's like feeding yourself candy-flavored poison. It's not beneficial to anyone. PLEASE do not do this. And if you do find someone who does this, message me. We'll do something about it.

Also, I'm not accepting translation requests for the story. Sorry.

THAT MOMENT SOMEBODY PUT THIS ON A VAMPIRE READING LIST BECAUSE THE GUY'S NAME'S DAMON

UNLESS YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT VAMPIRES THAT BURN IN DAYLIGHT AND LOOK LIKE THEY GOT BATHED IN HOT WATER, DO NOT COMMENT AT ALL.

THAT MOMENT WHEN IT WAS PUT ON A WEREWOLF READING LIST BECAUSE OF THE DESCRIPTION.

THAT MOMENT WHEN THIS STORY WAS PUT ON A READING LIST UNDER TEEN FICTION.

THAT MOMENT PEOPLE ASK ME ON HOW I GOT READS.

×××
So yeah, I'm Liz. I wrote this at some point. Know that it has its mistakes and that I was jut new on Wattpad when I wrote it.

I'll be fair and tell you I'm one of those authors that may have ads on their stories. Please refrain from telling me on why I agreed to it. It's not that I want to ruin your reading. Or lecturing me about 'If you love writing, you should do it for free and for your readers only.'

At some point, I would have agreed. But then I have bills to pay outside Wattpad. Household expenses. A brother that I woud like to properly provide for (he's turning 2  this October and I'm saving money). A rice addiction. Books that are on sale at the local bookstore.

Writers are not charity vending machines that you forcefully push buttons to get what you want. We're people. We can't always give you what you want. We have a life. That usually requires us to get something out of our pockets.

I was asked to transfer and/or write stories on other sites where they charge readers. Other writers do it and I have no say if they want readers to pay for something they worked countless hours for.Kudos to those readers who don't go bashing writers that do it. They read, writers provide the material. It's somewhat a fair trade.

I don't think mine are worthy to be paid unless they're traditionally published and you get everything with one purchase. If I do try it, I want to make sure it's worth the money.

The only information I could give you is what's already out there. Wattpad's free. They don't pay us, no matter how famous a book gets. They give us exposure. The rest is up to us. They have people working their butts off to run this site. You have no right to say 'Fuck you Wattpad. What kind of service is this.'

Again. Wattpad's free. It's not perfect. It has its occassional glitches. They fix it. The least you could do is appreciate them for their effort. Give and take okay?
