The following Monday, my friends and I were having our lunches when Jordan and Jayden sat down at our table.

"Well, if it isn't double trouble." I said when they sat down with their lunch.

They both grinned at me and talk at the same time. "That's us."

I rolled my eyes at them and looked over their shoulder to see Michael and Carson walking towards our seat. Michael was watching a video on his phone and he was chuckling constantly.

"What's that you are watching?" I asked, as they both sat down.

"The video of the fight this morning." Michael answered not taking his eyes from the phone.

"What fight?" Lucas asked, lifting his eyebrows in question.

"There was a fight this morning." Jasmine supplied. I looked over at her and she continued. "It took place early this morning before you and Carson got here."

"You should have seen it!" Jordan piped up. "Jayden and I took the video."

"Who was fighting?" I asked.

"Hilary and Jada." Jayden said. "Best cat fight ever!"

Hilary and Jada were both on the cheer team. They used to be friends, until I noticed that they weren't hanging out anymore. I didn't understand why, because they were like two peas in a pod.

"Why were they fighting?" I asked.

"Something about stealing boyfriends and Hilary mentioned Jada's boob job." Jasmine supplied.

"It's all everyone been talking about. It would have turned into a blood bath, if a teacher didn't pull them apart." Jayden said shaking his head at the memory.

"It was the biggest fight ever. I heard they got suspended." Jasmine added.

If the fight was that bad, no wonder everyone was talking about it. It has been a while since a fight of that magnitude happens at our school. I looked over at Jordan as I remembered something. "Weren't you and Hilary dating?"

"First of all, sex isn't dating and second, I broke it off with her a long time ago. She was getting too clingy and I couldn't take her drama." Jordan explained. "She got over it and started to date the football teams' captain."

"You must be glad as you would have been a part of that action." I said to Jordan.

"Of course. I can't stand all that action and drama." He said, then smirked. "I mean, I love action, but not that kind." Michael who was beside him chuckled.

"Oh God," Jasmine said. "I'm surrounded by morons."

Jordan looked up at her with a grin on his face. "Morons are the best people to be surrounded by." He said and we all laughed.

After that we continued to eat, while I tried to survive lunch. It was hard not to laugh most of the time with the amount of jokes I was getting from Carson and his friends.

******

At the end of the school day, I was looking for Carson so that we could go on our date. Carson promised that he would take me to the bowling alley as our first official date as a couple. He chose the bowling alley after finding out that I haven't been there before.

I walked and checked each classroom until I spotted him. He was in an empty classroom at the back, with his head resting on his hands on the desk.

I entered the classroom and walked towards him. When I was standing in front of him, I noticed that he was sleeping soundly. A soft smile touched my lips as I took in his features. He was such a softie when he was sleeping. His facial features was relaxed and he looked harmless contrary to the bad boy that I know.

He looked so innocent and deep in sleep that I didn't want to wake him. I wanted to stay here and just watch him sleep. However, I couldn't do that. One, we had to leave and two, for me to stay here and watch him will be stalkerish and...creepy.

I didn't want to startle him, so I moved beside him and whispered. "Carson." He didn't budge, so I called a little louder. "Carson." It was no use, so I shook his shoulders roughly.

He instantly shot up and the next thing I know I was shoved up against the cabinet that was at the back of the classroom. His strong hand was around my neck immediately squeezing tightly and cutting off my air supply. It happened so fast that I didn't have time to react. My eyes only went wide in shock.

"Oh shit." Carson said, immediately letting me go. His eyes were wide as he realized that it was me. "Kayla, I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you." He apologized, his eyes filled with regret.

"It's okay, Carson." I said, coughing and trying to catch my breath. "I know you didn't."

"Are you sure?" He asked looking at me intently. "Oh God Kayla, I'm really sorry."

"I know." I coughed again. "Really, I'm fine." I gave him a smile to let him know that it wasn't a big deal.

Carson suddenly wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him. He hugged me tightly and buried his head in my neck. I melted in his arms and returned his hug.

He then pulled away and looked at me seriously. "Promise me you won't wake me like that again." He said. "When you shook me like that, my natural instinct is to attack." He explained. "I just forgot where I was and thought I was in the ring."

I chuckled. "Some reflexes." I said, then nodded my head. "I promise I won't."

"Good, because I never want to hurt you again." He said sincerely.

I smiled up at him and leaned towards him to peck him on the lips. I then took his hand in mine. "Come on, we have to get to the bowling arcade, remember?"

He smiled at me and nodded. He wrapped his arms around my shoulder and we walked out of the classroom together.

When we reached the bowling arcade, I was glad to see that it wasn't crowded. We registered, got our shoes and chose our lane.

I took up a bowling ball that fitted my fingers perfectly and went behind the foul line. I was getting ready to throw the ball, when Carson stopped me.

"Woah there, Kitten. Do you even know what you are doing?" He asked, walking towards me.

I tilted my head at him and grinned sheepishly. "No."

Carson shook his head at me and showed me how to hold the ball. After he was done with his demonstration, he stepped away. I focused all my attention on the pins, then throw the ball. The ball rolled down the lane and hit eight pins.

"Yes!" I said, laughing with excitement. I was really happy with what I did, because it was my first try.

"Wow, not bad. Are you sure this is your first time?" Carson asked. I nodded my head, a big smile still on my face.

The game continued with me either rolling the ball in the gutter or hitting a few pins down. So far I haven't hit down all the pins in one hit. I was now on my seventh throw and I was aiming to hit all ten pins for a strike.

I was trying to concentrate on the pins in front of me, when I felt arms snake around my waist. I looked around at Carson, who was resting his head on my shoulder. "Carson, what are you doing?" I asked, wriggling in his embrace.

"I was wondering what's taking you so long to roll." He said. He still refused to let me go. He tightened his hold around me and place a light kiss on my neck.

I felt a slight shiver ran through my body by his light kisses and I tried to stay focus on my task. It was really difficult with Carson so close to me. "Come on Carson, I want to make a strike. You're distracting me."

I could feel his lips turn into a smirk. "Am I?" He asked.

"Carson!"

He chuckled and removed his arms from my waist. "Okay, okay." He said. He slapped my bottom before he moved away from me. I jumped in surprise and glared at him.

He gave me a wide grin. "Do your thing babe."

I turned back around and focused my attention on getting a strike. After another minute of concentration, I rolled the ball. I watched as it rolled and hit the pins. I jumped up and down when all the pins fell.

"Strike! I got a strike!" I shouted excitedly.

"Yes you did." Carson said, giving me an amused grin.

"Thank you Carson. This is the best date ever." I said, walking over to him and giving him a hug.

He wrapped his arms around me. "To see this smile on your face, I wish I'd taken you a long time ago."

I pulled away from the hug and smiled at him. "Come on. It's your turn." Carson moved to pick up a ball and then walked towards the lane. I slapped him on his bottom as he walked by me. Carson turned around to look at me and I smirked. "That's payback, sweetie."

Carson shook his head. "You're evil."

"I learn from the best." I said and Carson chuckled at that.
