Hazel's eyes were already judging Natalie's intentions. I thought she was still sleeping but I was wrong. Hazel was wide awake and she was creating a new problem in the house. She was pretending to care about me, to like me and to be close to me just to get under Natalie's skin. I didn't know why she was doing that. She clearly told me to live my life and have fun. She was acting jealous and I didn't know if she was acting or showing her real feelings towards me.

Girls only want you when someone else has your full attention.

Natalie didn't want to fight Hazel. She was acting mature in the situation and agreed that she was my girlfriend. She didn't want to ruin Hazel's vibe. On the contrary, she was trying to stay out of the conversation and continue with her perfect day. She felt embarrassed and was ready to leave the house. Her reaction showed her true feelings and intentions.

"Who is she?" Hazel judged her from head to toe. "Why is she here?" She yelled with severe jealousy. "What's going on here?"

"Hazel?" I called out. "This is Natalie. She's going to stay here for a few days." I tried to calm her down. "You need to stop exaggerating. My friends are outside."

"Why was she all over you then?" She replied with an annoying tone. "Is she a friend? Do you like her?"

Natalie laughed and tried her best not to say something she was going to regret.

"She's just helping me with the food." I clarified. "Go back to sleep. There's nothing going on." I promised.

"Go back to sleep huh?" Hazel exclaimed. "So you're sending me to my bedroom but she's going to stay here and help you?" She grabbed the knife in Natalie's hand. "I'm not tired. You can leave now, girl." She glanced at Natalie. "I'm going to help him. He doesn't need you anymore." Hazel pushed her to the side. "Shoo..."

"What are you doing, Hazel?" I asked, impatiently. "Why did you push her? This is not nice." My eyebrows disagreed with her severe action. "What's wrong with you?"

Natalie didn't say a word. She decided to stay in her place.

"What's wrong with me?" She reversed my question. "What did you expect? You're mine and she was on the way." Her sentence was pissing me off. The way she said it was selfish and cruel. I know she was the one that I wanted but the way she treated her was really wrong. "I don't want her to be next to you. Why do you need her if I'm right here next to you?"

I ignored Hazel.

"Natalie..." I sighed as I headed in her direction. "I'm really sorry about her behavior. She's not usually like this." I tried to protect Hazel with a better cover. "She's going through a lot right now, she has a quick temper." Hazel shared a petty laugh. "Do you still want to help me?"

"It's okay," Natalie replied, gently. "I totally understand her. She's right and maybe I was too close to you. I apologize." Her words rushed from a bitter view and smashed her intentions to an understanding temperament.

"I'm sorry."I grabbed her hand, gently. "Please, help me." I let out a soft sigh. "I need you." I gave Hazel a flavor of her own poison. "Please."

"Hawk?" Hazel grabbed me by the arm. "What about me?" Her question pursued my thoughts. "You don't need me?"

"I... I... Uh..." I paused as I tried to collect my words and make sure that I wasn't on anyone's side. "I do..." I sighed, impatiently. "I do need you..." She smiled, satisfyingly. "Matter of fact, I need both of you."

"Fine."Hazel gave a scornful smile. "Are you happy?" Her question was more for Natalie. She was acting really strange and I didn't like the way she was treating her. She was just a guest.

Come on, Ladies. Quit the game!

"Someone is cooking!" Jack yelled through the back door as he headed to the kitchen. "It smells good in here. What're the magic ingredients?" He caught himself in the middle of Natalie and me. His left hand on my neck and his right on Natalie's. Hazel was left behind. I know she was mad. I know she was dying with jealousy inside her heart. Her presence was invisible but she was still present in my eyes.

"Natalie is really great." Jack's girlfriend Tesha, replied contentedly. "Am I wrong?" She wrapped her hands around Jack. "What's your name again?"

"Hawk," I replied, amusingly. "And yes," I glanced at Natalie and smiled. "She's really great but she has a lot to learn from the master." I laughed. "From me, of course."

We all laughed.

Except for Hazel.

"Don't come for her, now." Tesha joked around. "She has her own magical skills." Jack and I laughed. "Right, sister?" She glanced at Natalie.

"I believe that I..." Natalie teased as her body gave me a side push. "I believe that Hawk can teach me a lot of things." They all laughed.

Ouch! Not in front of Hazel. Please. Not in front of her!

Oh' God! What am I going to do? She's going to kill me for entertaining this conversation.

"Oh, did you hear that Hawk?" Jack teased me. He knew what he was doing. He saw the jealousy on Hazel's face but still kept going with his silly joke. "Natalie wants you to teach her a lot of things. Not only in the kitchen but in the bedroom too."

I wanted to kill Jack. I wanted to shut him up. He was pissing Hazel off and she was not having it. Maybe I did enjoy it, maybe she deserved it for pushing me away and kept hiding her true intentions towards me. Maybe. Just maybe.

"Okay, Hawk has a girlfriend." Natalie poked fun at me. "He's the loyal type." She pushed a friendly smile. "I don't want to push my luck."

"No," Jack interfered. "Hawk is single. Therefore, he can date anyone he wants." He glanced at Hazel on purpose. "Torturing and playing with someone's feelings is a selfish crime. Am I wrong, Hazel?" Jack finally mentioned her name. "Isn't Hawk single?"

"Is he?" Tesha looked at Hazel, up and down. "My boyfriend just asks you a question." Hazel ignored her and kept cutting the large onion in little pieces. Tesha was on her sister's side. She was against Hazel and her eyes were already snitching about her true feelings. She wanted me to be with Natalie instead of Hazel.

It was pretty obvious.

"Are you, Hawk?" Natalie made eye contact. "Are you single?"

"Yes, I am," I told her the truth. Hazel yelled in pain. "Hazel!"My eyes caught the blood that was flowing down her index.

They all stared at me. I was making a big scene. It was just a small cut.

Hazel ran upstairs, angrily. I was going after her but they all stopped me. They told me that she needed her space and I was supposed to leave her alone. It was just a small cut, I didn't want to stress myself out but I was still worried. I wanted to make sure that she was okay, so I followed her footprints.

I ran upstairs.

                                                                                 ****
"Hey, are you okay?" I entered the bedroom. She locked herself in the bathroom. "How's your finger?" I asked through the door. "Is it deep?"

"Yes, I'm fine."She exclaimed with pain in her voice. "Just go away."

"We're about to play a game." I started. "Do you want to tag along?" My question ran out of energy. I knew that I was wasting my time. She was not in the mood to play.

"No." She refused. "Go have fun with your friends. It's not like you care about me anyway." Her sentences were burning her skin with strong jealousy. "I'll stay here by myself. Go have fun with Natalie."

"What are you talking about, Hazel?" I chuckled, amusingly. "Are you jealous?"

"No, I'm not jealous!" She was being defensive. "You're single and you can date and kiss whoever you want. I'm not stopping you."

"Hazel..." I whispered, gently. "I'm leaving now." I requested her attention. "Do you want me to stay with you?"

"No! Leave!" Tears were falling down her face. I felt her presence in the shadow of deep darkness. "I want to be alone."

"Hazel, open the door, "I begged, desperately. "Please."

"Hawk," She sighed, negatively. "Can you stop worrying about me? I just told you I was fine." As soon as her words splashed my mind, a familiar voice requested my presence from a distance.

Natalie.

"Come on, Handsome," Natalie yelled behind me. "We're waiting on you, Hawk." Hazel opened the bathroom door rapidly as soon as she heard Natalie's voice.

"Get out! Get the hell out!" Hazel slapped Natalie. "Get the hell out of my room! Now!" She pushed her outside. "You too, get out!" She slammed the door. "Get out!" Her voice faded from a small distance.

Natalie hated Hazel. Her intentions were bad. She wanted me and was capable of anything to gain my affection.
