First Date.

What's your ideal first date?

Movies. First choice. People just love going to the movies on their first date. For girls, it's a whole different story. It's more like a test.
Romantic movies, some girls choose romance to give hints to guys. They want them to know that they're really into them and they're ready to face the consequences of being touched.

Scary movies, If a girl chooses a scary movie. It's either she wants to get close to you in order for you to make the first move or wants to see if you're the protector type. Girls are really smart. Sometimes, they watch the same movie with a friend before watching it with you and act clueless just so they know which part to jump and which part to cry.
Sometimes, they jump on purpose. O' it's so scary. I'm scared. Hold me tight please, don't let go.

Lies. Tricks. Lies.

Funny movies, she's trying to have fun and make you homeless.

"Waffle?" I injected hazel's name. "Where do you want to go tonight as our first date?" Her face crashed with a smile. Her dimples greeted my view, nicely.

"I was thinking..." She paused. "How about the movies?" My dimples agreed with my previous point of view.

Hazel? Did you really just say that?

"What movie?" My attention craved for her answer.

"I want to watch a romance movie." She replied with so much confidence in her tone. "Do you agree with me?"

"Of course." I chuckled. "But I have a surprise date. Movies aren't really my thing. They're probably not even going to let you inside with me."

"Why not?" She rolled her eyes.

"Waffle. You're a snack. They don't allow snacks in the movies." I flirted.

"Funny but I heard that already." She buried my flirtations. "Try harder."

"Anyway babe, I was thinking about my surprise. I want you to come with me tonight. I'll ask Mr.Dean for his permission, of course." I smiled as I kissed her on the lips. "You're so beautiful."

"Where we going?" She asked, desperately.

"It's called a surprise for a reason." I laughed. "Hazel. I need to leave now. Make sure you're ready in a few hours. I have things to do. My best friend, Jack, is waiting for me. I have to pick him up from his house. Behave, my love." I grabbed her by the neck as I gently kissed her lips with my kind of passion. "Call me if you miss me too much," I suggested.

"Hawk?" She stopped me from leaving.

"Don't call me by my first name again." I wrapped my right hand around her neck. "I'm yours now. Quit the game." I licked her ear all the way down to her neck. "Baby is my name."

"Should I wear underwear tonight?" Her voice begged for air.

"You know my rules, Waffle," I whispered in her ear. "Don't test me." I bit her ear with a warm desire. "You know what would happen if you break the rules?" I warned.

"What if I do break your rules?"

"Are you threatening me, Waffle?" I pushed her slowly on the bed as I started to tickle her, savagely.

"No, No, No." She laughed nonstop. "Please, I'm sorry." Her laughter was more like a turn-on.

"I'll see you tonight babe." I shared a wet french kiss as I headed outside her bedroom. "Behave."

"I will." Her voice faded from a distance as I tried my best to control myself. I really wanted to go back to her room and kiss her all over but I had to make sure that everything was perfect for tonight. I wanted to do something new for Hazel.

"Hawk, brother." Jack clapped me up as he entered inside my gold Ferrari. "Nice car, dude."His good comment played in my head like a melody.

"I know, right?" I replied, proudly. "This car is fire."

"So are you ready?" I thought of Hazel. "What's the plan? You didn't tell me what we were doing." He laughed. "A surprise for your girl."

"She was right next to me. I didn't want to take chances by telling you everything over the phone." I chuckled. "I want everything to be perfect, man."

"Whoah!" He paused. "You really like this girl. Don't you?" Was it that obvious? He figured it out.

"I'm not going to lie. She really drives me insane." I answered his question. "She's always on my mind and it's hard to control myself whenever she's close to me. I started to lose it every single time. I want her so badly sometimes but I feel like I have to take things slow. I don't want her to think that I'm only here for one thing. I want to show her what a real man is. I want her to get to know me." I bit my upper lip, urgently.

"Did you hit it yet?" He asked, jokingly.

"Nah," I replied. "I want it to be special. I want my first time with her to be romantic and private. No phones, no parents, no friends around. Only me and her." I spoke my mind.

"Don't you have privacy in that house?" He teased. "Did you kiss her already?" He laughed.

"I did," I chuckled. "And no, there's no privacy at all man. Her parents, especially her father. He's really nosy and overprotective. He's always there, outside her bedroom. 'Honey, Hazel are you awake? Can I bring you coffee? Are you still sleeping? You have a visitor." I imitated Mr. Dean.

"I feel bad for you." Jack made fun of my situation. "Her father is probably going to hate you when he finds out that her sweet daughter is your favorite breakfast in the morning. I can't wait."

"He's not going to find out," I said, clearly. "Remember when I was dating the twins at the same time. I told both of them not to talk about our relationship with anyone and that's how my game started. They were so in love with me. I don't really remember how I stopped talking to them." I reminded him.

"I remember." Jack chuckled, amusingly. "Her parents found out and forbade you to talk to their daughters. I think someone snitched."

"Oh yeah." I paused. "Wait? I still think it was that senior, the captain of the basketball team. Remember him? He got suspended for smoking weed."

"Yes, I had a feeling too. He really hated us, bro." He collected his mind. "Who's calling you?"

"My baby." Hazel's name popped up on my screen. "Why is she calling me right now? I just left the house. She's already missing her man." I ignored the call.

"Why did you forward her call? She probably needs to talk to you, man."

"I'll call her back."

"She's calling again." Jack glanced at my phone. "You should answer."

I answered the phone.

                                                                                     ****
"Yes, babe." I picked up. "Are you okay?"

"Baby." She panicked over the phone. "It's an emergency."

"Babe? Tell me you're okay. Are you hurt? Are you in danger? What's your emergency? I'm coming to you right now." I panicked.

"Yes, I can't find anything to wear tonight." She sighed. "I had to call you. I don't know what to do."

"Waffle! Are you serious? That's your emergency?" A relief flew in my veins, slowly. "I thought something happened to you."

"No, I miss you ." Her voice graduated my sentimental vibe all the way.

"I miss you too baby." I sent her a kiss. "I'll see you tonight, babe." I hung up.

                                                                                   ****

"Waffle?" Jack burst out laughing. "Okay now? This is a different side of Hawk Wale."

"Just shut up, shut up." I saved myself from my own embarrassment. "Save it, Jack. Save it." I tried my best not to let him intimidate me with his jokes.

"Okay Hawk." He chuckled, amusingly. "So Waffle means sex tonight? Father alert or maybe Horny emergency?" He made fun of me. "Explain Hawk! Explain!"

We both laughed.

"No."I disagreed. "That's her new name," I told him the truth. "Waffle is Hazel's favorite. So, I figured something out."

"Awe. How romantic!" He said, jokingly. "Wait? So does she call you Syrup or pancake?"

"Okay now, you're doing the most, man." We both laughed. "Just drop it."

"Don't fall too hard man." He leaned in as he gave me a friendly punch. "I don't want to see you hurt. You're falling for this girl, I can see that but remember Hawk, the more you fall, the more your heart is in deep trouble. Take my advice."

"Hazel is different."

"And so was Jessica." He reminded me of the devil. Someone, I didn't want to remember from my past.

Jessica.

My father's lover.

My ex-lover.
