Breakfast was quiet the next morning. Neither one of them brought up what happened last night as they ate, but Ivy was getting impatient. She wanted to know what was the cause behind his nightmare, and worried that it was more than a one time occurrence.
She sat back and watched him get up and walk over to the sink to wash his dishes.

"Matteo, we need to talk." She said, breaking the silence.

"About what?" His back was still facing her as he finished washing his dish.

Slowly getting up from her stool, she walked around the island table and headed towards him. Slipping her arms around his waist, she felt him tense as she laid her cheek against his back. "Baby, I know you think that this thing between us is just sex, but I do care about you Matteo. More than you might think. You can talk to me about anything."

Matteo was quiet for a moment, but Ivy felt his body start to relax. He slowly turned around to face her, wrapping his arms around her and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"Okay." He said, his voice rough. "Ever since I came back from the army I've been having the same recurring nightmares, and I've had it for years. I've gotten use to them, but I have never had to worry about hurting anyone until now."

Ivys eyebrows furrowed, "What do you mean?"

"I've never had someone sleep next me. Usually when I have a.." Matteo trailed off, trying find the right words to say. Sensing his unease, she tried to reassure him. "It's okay, you can tell me."

"Whenever I was with a woman, I always made sure they never slept over. I hadn't slept in the same bed with a woman in over 10 years, not until you. Now I'm afraid something is going to happen to you while I'm asleep. I don't want you to get hurt." He said, his face a mask of worry and concern.

"Don't worry about me, I can't handle myself." She stroked his cheek to reassure him, " but it seems you're suffering from PTSD. Have you ever thought of going to see a therapist or a support group?" Matteo just shook his head.

"Okay how about this, we can try a therapist or a support group, whichever you're more comfortable with and I'll come with you if you need me."

Matteo contemplated for a moment. He was never comfortable with the idea of talking to a complete stranger about his past, but knowing that Ivy would be there with him through this made him feel assured. Finally he agreed, "Okay. Okay I'll give it a try."

Ivys' eyes lit up with relief and happiness, "That's great!" She exclaimed, jumping up to hug him. Matteo let out a chuckle, wrapping his arms around her and pressing her body tightly against his.

Suddenly the tension in the air changed. Pulling back, Matteo looked down to see Ivy run her tongue along her lips, making his ćock stiffen.

"When do you have to leave?" He asked, his voice gruff.

Ivy smirked, "Not for another 2 hours."

"Good." He said before bending down to pick her up, and carrying her to their bedroom.
