Four Hours

Klaus catches the arrow with a small smirk, looking at it with a small chuckle. He looks back at the archer unimpressed, a small eyebrow raised.

"Your aim is abysmal." Hawkeye looked at Klaus with a poorly hidden shocked expression, the hybrid smirking triumphantly. "You've got to admit, you're rather impressed."

"I've seen better."

Klaus just gives a small roll of the eyes and pushes the seat in front of him out with his foot, wanting to get this over and done with.

"We're splitting you all up and sending you to different institutions, you won't see your friends or girlfriend again."

Clint watched Klaus's eyes flicker golden, the only sign of emotion on his face. Deciding to try and ask some questions, the Avenger takes a seat, hoping that this doesn't go terribly wrong.

"What happened in Mystic Falls?"

Klaus studied Clint, small black veins appearing under his eyes as he got a whiff of the mans blood. Deciding to gain the man's trust, Klaus gives his answer.

"A lot of things, you're going to have to be more specific mate." Klaus smirked, tapping his fingers on the table.

"What happened to Bonnie Bennet?" Clint frowned slightly at the shadow that crosses the hybrid's face, the tapping of his fingers stopping momentarily.

"She was taken from us." Klaus answered honestly, sadness in his voice as he looks down at the table.

"What do you mean taken?"

"I mean taken. She was taken from us and viciously murdered."

Silence fell over the two, Clint feeling rather confused over the whole situation. Why would his girlfriend kill their friend?

"But we have evidence that Elena-"

"Ellie. Not Elena." Klaus cut in, his eyes looking up with a sharp as steel gaze. Hawkeye gave a small nod and carried on.

"We have evidence that Ellie was the one to kill  Bonnie Bennet, why would she kill her friend?" Trying to take a different tactic to his colleagues, Clint makes sure to keep the questioning casual, trying to get the hybrid in front of him to relax.

"A lot of things can drive a person to murder Agent Barton." A small chuckle left Klaus's lips, his eyes flickering golden from time to time. "But in this case, Emily had what was coming for her. There was nothing left of Bonnie and Ellie did everyone a favour."

"What...Emily?"

"Ah yes, I forgot." Another laugh but this time humourless. "You all think you have so much knowledge about the world, you know about Asgardians and all those little aliens that come to our planet. But you are so blind to those who walk alongside you on the street, species that you just mark down as myths. All of you, so naïve and blind to the real world. It's pitiful really."

A small smirk bloom's across Klaus's face, his words cutting deep into Clint's mind, the archer leaning forward and resting his arms on the table. Exactly where Klaus wanted him.

"So show us, help us."

This time, Klaus's laugh is loud and full to the brim of amusement, a little of his control slipping,  making his eyes shine in a slightly unhinged way.

"Help you? No, I think it's more fun to watch you all squirm like a worm on a hook." Klaus suddenly moves and latches his hand onto Clint's arm, holding it tightly so the archer can't escape. "Now, shall we begin?"

Forcing the avenger to stand, Klaus drags him over, breathing in the scent of the man's blood blissfully. His eyes burn golden and his teeth elongate into canines, Clint's arm shaking lightly in his hand.

Snapping his head down, Klaus bites into Hawkeyes wrist, drinking his blood gleefully. The other Avengers watch through the camera in horror, Clint's body dropping to the ground as Klaus pulls back, blood dripping from his mouth.

"Mark my words little Avengers, do not start a war you cannot win. For if you hurt one hair on my girl and our friend's heads....you will all be wishing for an swift death."
