'You can't save everyone Ellie' Thomas says stroking my arm as we lay on my bed.

'I know but Jeremy is going to be distraught.' I murmur reading through the grimoire in my hands.

'I could compel them to stay here if you want?' He offers and I shake my head.

'This starts the canon but I don't see a way of sparing them. Perhaps we'll just have to let I happen' I say quietly and Thomas's grip tightens on my wrist as he starts growling.

I sit up staring at him confused.

'What Thomas?' I ask him and he shows me my wrist.

Shining brightly are the bright silver initials N.M and K.M right below Thomas's mark initials.

'Fuck' I gasp and Thomas glares at me.

'You're so unobservant sometimes Ellie' He rakes a hand through his hair sighing and I tilt my head smiling slightly.

'Well it's not as if I haven't been busy' I pull my top aside to show him the marks on my neck, he blushes slightly and I grin.

'They must be going out of their mind' I say quietly, my eyebrows furrowing slightly as Thomas's eyes become darker staring at me intently.

'What?' I ask innocently, biting my lip slightly.

He growls and pins me underneath him making my laugh as he roughly puts his lips on mine.

My bedroom door swings open and I shriek loudly, Thomas covering my body with his own protectively.

'Jeremy!!' I scream angrily when I see him standing in the doorway.

'Eww! I don't wanna see that!' He runs from my room and I slam the door shut magically.

'Damn little brother' I say resting my head against Thomas's chest.

'One day' Thomas promises me and I giggle.

'One day.'

'Now what are we going to do about our dear Originals?' Thomas asks resting his head in my neck and I sigh slightly.

'I can't show them who I am because I'm the bloody doppelgänger. An ingredient for so many spells and issues.' I say quietly. 'Plus the fact I've murdered his mum.'

'Text them then' He replies stroking my hair and I nod in agreement.

My phone flies into my hand and I send the text.

Kol growls furiously at his brother shoving him against the wall with his heart in his hand.

'And why does she think you'll kill her huh Nik?!! That's the reason we can't bloody find her! It's because she's scared!' Kol shouts in his brothers face angrily showing him the text.

'I won't kill her, I don't know why she thinks that' Klaus says worriedly, his breath a light ragged at how tightly his brother is holding his heart.

'It's because she's the doppelgänger' Elijah says walking in.

'What?!' Kol cries out dripping his hand from Klaus's chest.

'I recognised her voice and mannerisms, she's a witch which Katerina is not and why else would she think Klaus would want to kill her. Plus I could hear her heart beating and I smelt her blood from across the table, quite alluring I must say.' The noble brother says quietly while taking a seat.

'How observant of you brother' Kol sarcastically drawled while the Klaus's face paled.

'If she wants me to wait then I'll wait' Is all Klaus says before he walks out rubbing his forehead stressed.
