"Namjoon ah?"

A familiar voice called out from behind. Still, with Hyun Ae behind him, Namjoon turned around, and both of them then spotted Hoseok and Yoongi approaching them.

"Oh? Hobi oppa, Yoongi oppa?" Hyun Ae muttered, but she was startled when suddenly Yoongi grabbed her wrist.

"What are you guys doing?! Get down!" he grumbled.

"But she had lost her-"

"What if people taking pictures of you two?" Yoongi immediately cut Namjoon's words before he could even explain. "Another issue might come up again! Get down, now!"

"But..."

"Huh," Yoongi sighed, and then he put his hand into a white shopping bag in his grip before pulling out a pair of black slip-on sneakers. "Wear this," he urged, thrusting the shoes towards Hyun Ae.

"Eh?" she mumbled in confusion.

"Just... get down and wear this!" Yoongi tugged on her hand, and finally, Namjoon set her down slowly and carefully.

Yoongi placed the shoes down but Hyun Ae was just stepping on them. "Urgh, we're trying to die the issue down, and now this, Namjoon?"

"He was just giving me a piggyback ride," Hyun Ae explained, placing her hands on her waists, one was holding her other sandal.

Yoongi then glared at her. And in a deep voice, he said, "I didn't ask you."

"Hah. Wow," she chuckled, putting up her hands in defeat as she backed away a bit from the furious rapper. "You know what? I don't need this," she said, pushing the sneakers away from her using her bare foot. "Bye. Good night," she simply said to him then as she turned to Namjoon, she flashed him a warm smile. "Thank you for earlier."

With that, Hyun Ae turned around and began to walk away, both feet went bare against the pavement in the cold night. And at this moment, Namjoon immediately turned to Yoongi, feeling disappointed.

"Hyung! You don't have to be cruel to her! I was the one who forced her to get on me. She saved me, that's why she had lost her-"

"Namjoon oppa," suddenly Hyun Ae called out from afar, interrupting his frustration. "One day," she giggled then pointed her finger toward the famous amusement park. "A date."

Namjoon smiled, excitement kicked into him as he began to bite his lip, feeling shy out of a sudden. Witnessing this, Hyun Ae giggled again, before continuing to walk towards the subway station.

"Hyun Ae ah!" Yoongi suddenly called out, picking up the sneakers. Hyun Ae didn't even bother to stop, she even picked up some speed. But it didn't work when he grabbed her arm. "Hyun Ae, stop-"

"What is it?!" she raged.

"Put these on!"

"No!" Hyun Ae retorted, shaking her head as she crossed her arms over her chest.

That was when Yoongi began to sigh before kneeling on the ground. He extended his left arm behind her knees as if hugging her legs but it was actually to lock her in her spot as he tried to force the sneakers onto her.

"Hey, don't touch my feet!" she grunted, losing her balance, and accidentally sat on his left shoulder, earning a soft wince from him.

"I swear if I see any scratches or cuts on your feet, you'll be seeing me every day coming to your shop and making a fuss there! You want that?" Yoongi threatened, standing up after making sure she had the sneakers on.

"Fine!" she sighed in annoyance, just before Namjoon reached and grabbed her hand.

"I should send you home-"

"She can go home on her own, right?" Yoongi once again cut his words, making everyone including Hoseok go dumbfounded.

What is wrong with him? she thought to herself, her eyes kept on staring at this one weird guy.

"Yes, I can. Don't worry," Hyun Ae said, finally giving all of them her last bow, and finally left the place, slowly disappearing into the subway station entrance.

"Yoongi hyung, what's wrong with you? Are you nuts?" Namjoon suddenly asked him, clearly in disappointment. Yoongi turned at the leader with a finger pointing at him.

"Don't you say that to me. I'm trying to avoid more rumors about you, and did you know what the effects of your latest rumor are on the company? We almost lost our investors! Thank goodness the management knew how to handle all this and no one left, because it's just a small stupid rumor!"

"But please... don't be harsh on her. She's our friend. If you're mad, just do it on me. It was my fault anyway."

"I thought you said it was hers!"

"Stop it, both of you!" Hoseok suddenly stepped in between them when he noticed that Yoongi took a step toward Namjoon. "People are going to see us!"

"I don't care," Namjoon hissed, his eyes won't leave Yoongi's as he continued. "All I care about now is for you to apologize to her. She even sacrificed her sandal for a nosy reporter who has always been on my tail and making things up. If you refuse to think of her as our friend, then think of her as our ARMY! I believe she's one of the ARMYs out there who wants to protect us!"

Ending his statement, Namjoon then began to walk away from them towards the subway.

"Namjoon ah! Hey, where are you going?!" Hoseok called out from afar.

"I'm making sure she's safe!" And with that, Namjoon then disappeared from their views as he went down the subway entrance.

"Huh. That kid," Hoseok huffed, his shoulders slumping down before he suddenly turned to Yoongi. "And why are you so worked up today? Are you okay?"

Yoongi clicked his tongue and sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Must work..."

"Urgh... I am so tired," Hyun Ae whispered to herself as she got onto the train as soon as it arrived. She instantly found a seat and plopped herself onto it, before letting her eyes fall onto her feet. "Tch. Trust me, tomorrow he'll pop up in my shop to get these sneakers back."

The train door closed, ready to depart for the next station. She looked around and the carriage that she had got on was almost empty. So empty that she was the only one who sat on the bench she was sitting on and another woman on the opposite side of the carriage, eyes stuck to her phone.

"Thank goodness I caught the last train," she mumbled and not long after the train began to move, she began to feel drowsy due to the train's motion.

"Urgh... don't sleep. Don't... sleep..."

She tried to fight her sleepiness back, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to. All of sudden, her sight became blurry.

All she could hear was just the swooshing sound as the train cut through the air, and the sound of the door opening from the other side of the carriage. She tried to look at the door, but she felt her head go spinning hard before she began to fall to one side, like a robot that had gone into shutdown mode.

But she knew she heard someone's voice beside her before everything went black.

"Look at you."
