Jules woke up on a soft bed, much softer than the one she used at Sofi's place. She looked around and frowned at the white and grey in the room. She looked to her left and her frown deepened at the sight of the balcony behind the white curtain that danced with the breeze.

Where was she?

She looked down at the grey covers and pushed them away freezing when she saw what she had on.

A shirt. A man's shirt.

She took a moment to remember what happened last night and as the familiar scent reached her nose, she realized where she was.

The room smelled of Ceaser so she was at Ceaser's place, in his room, in his bed and in his shirt. Her hair seemed to be dancing behind her and she reached up to touch it and realized also that her bun was gone.

Ceaser.
Just like the thought of him had summoned him, Ceaser walked right through the door and Jules looked up freezing at the sight of him shirtless. Ceaser couldn't help the smirk that took possession of his lips.

"Feasting your eyes." He said

Jules snapped her gaze back to his face.
"I-I was just..."

"I was kidding." He said as he shut the door with his leg and walked towards her. Jules noticed the tray in his hand then.

"Wha-?"

"Shh," Ceaser said as he placed the tray on her lap and sat next to her. "You can look at me anytime you want." He looked into her eyes and reached up to her lips and brushed it with the pad of his thumb "I'm yours for the taking just like you are mine."

Jules smiled
"A bit presumptuous, don't you think?"

"Not really." He said, "Just stating facts."

Jules' smile fell as his hand wandered to her cheek and her neck making her eyes shut and her head tilted to the side.

"Now eat." He ordered.

Jules opened her eyes to look at him. He was making her head spin. She looked down at the tray and smiled.

Toast. Butter. Jam. Eggs benedict. Coffee. Juice.
"Did you make this?"

He smiled and she knew right away.
"Have you had any?" She asked as she buttered the toasts

"When you're around, you're the only thing that comes to mind." He said, "I'll have you when you're done."

Jules stopped buttering to look at him.
"You know you said that yesterday but you didn't do anything."

Ceaser's eyes turned dark.
"You're playing with fire Jules."

She matched his gaze.
"Maybe I love getting burned."

Ceaser's gaze fell to her lips and Jules couldn't help putting her butter smudged finger in her mouth to lick it off, taking her sweet delicious time making Ceaser's clench his jaw as he snapped his gaze back to her to see the playful glint in them.

"What happened yesterday?" Jules asked changing the subject as she gave Ceaser a toast to bite on.

He took a bite.
"You were asleep on your desk when I got there."

"Oh," Jules said with food in her mouth. "I was so tired, I didn't sleep much the previous night."

"Why, what happened?" He asked, concerned

She shrugged.
"Had a lot of thinking to do regarding what you asked of me."

Ceaser smiled
"And?"

Jules felt her heart clench at the smile on his face. She didn't want to disappoint him.
"Ceaser, I think we're moving too fast."

Ceaser's smile fell as he looked away.

"Hey." She said bringing his face to hers "I want to move in with you, I do. But I want to get to know you more before I do. We've been together for what, a few days?"

"Ten." He said, specifically and she couldn't help smiling.

"I want to get to know you more. Spend more time with you. Go on dates with you." She said, "We seem to have skipped those parts."

"Not really." He said, "There's the dinner with you and Ivy, the charity function, lunch at the office, dinner at the diner and the picnic we had on the beach."

Jules stared at him.
He was right. They had been on a couple of dates. But why did she feel like she didn't know the most important things about him?
"Ceaser, we've gone out together but I still don't know a lot about you." She said, "You tend to ask more questions about me than you answer about yourself." She put her hand around his neck "I want to know everything about you. From your childhood to your College days to the man you are right now, I want to know everything."

Ceaser stared at her for a moment before he smiled
"Okay." He said, "We'll do this your way then you're moving in."

"Deal." She smiled.

"Now finish your breakfast so I can have mine."

Jules's face turned red at that but she had her breakfast either way and so did Ceaser even though she had complained about being late to work.

Jules had gone to change at Andy's before she went to work. She had declined a ride with Ceaser and taken a cab instead. The first thing she did when she got to the company building was to go see her baby.

She stayed a few minutes before she went to her floor and was surprised at the commotion. She walked towards her office and peeped into Alice's.
"What's going on?"

"Your office." Alice pointed as she got up and followed behind shutting the door after them

"What's wrong?" Jules asked again as she placed her bag on her desk and took off her jacket.

"Santos was fired."

Jules snapped her gaze to Alice
"What?!"

"Apparently he wasn't doing his job." Alice said "He was dumping most of them on you and the rest to Lucy, his intern. Patricia didn't get any because she was having an affair with him."

Ceaser had told her that.
"Santos was sent his things today."

"Wow." She didn't know what to say. Ceaser hadn't said a thing about it at his place. "I'll be right back," She said and made her way out of her office and into the elevator to his floor.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Jules asked the second she walked in.

Claire hadn't stopped her when she arrived. Just gave her a smile which was weird.

"And why didn't Claire call in to check with you first?" She added.

Ceaser who had looked up the second she walked in smiled at her before he got up and made his way to her.
"Claire knows I'm never too busy to see you." He said as he put his hands on her waist and pulled her to him "And what is it I didn't tell you?"

"About Santos." Jules said, "I just got to the department and everything was a mess."

"I got a little carried away with breakfast." Jules' cheeks turned red and he smiled "Which was delicious by the way."

Jules' looked at him for a moment, the desire passing between them
"So, Santos."

"I fired him yesterday." He said

"We talked about this." She said

"We did." He said, "But I didn't say anything about not firing him."

"Ceaser..."

He kissed her before she could get anything else out of her mouth.
"I run the company and I do not pay my employees to dump their work on others to favour the person they have a relationship with." He said "What's done is done, let's not make this an issue. We both know it was bound to happen, sooner or later he was going to get caught."

Jules sighed.
When he put it like that.
"I didn't get to meet the new head of department." She said, "Who did you assign?"

"Well, I was going to assign the next in line and I also had HR run statistics report on everyone in the department and you know what?"

"What?"

"HR statistics say you're naturally the next person to head the department and you also seem to happen to be the next person after Santos, from what everyone in your department says."

Jules blinked at him as she pulled away from him.
"What?"

Ceaser smiled.
"You're the head of department Jules."

Jules stared at him, expressionless.
"You sure you didn't have anything to do with this decision?"

Ceaser sighed.
"I didn't do anything except let an unprofessional employee go." He said, "Everything else was you."

A smile grew on Jules' face and she hugged him.
"I can't believe this."

"You better because you're about to get flooded with meetings with me." He said

"Ugh, I hate meetings." She said, "Especially if it has to be with the CEO."

Ceaser laughed.
"I'm sure he'll find a way to make things...interesting."
