"I don't even know what to say to em, to be honest."

"Just say how you feel, and let him tell you how he feel. You probably don't wanna hear it, but you have to in order to move past it. You can't hold it in forever baby."

"Ard." I sighed. "But it's gone be hard to sit there and listen to him make up bullshit excuses on why he wasn't in my life." I sucked my teeth.

"I know baby. But just listen to what he have to say, I don't want to say this. But he might have a good reason."

I squinted my eyes. "Christina don't make me get mad at you man. It's no excuse on why he wasn't in my life. C'mon man." I grabbed her lower back and we both entered the restaurant.

"You see them?" I looked around the restaurant searching for my 'parent' but I didn't see her.

"Come on baby, I see your mom. But I don't see your dad." Christina grabbed my hand and we both began to make our way toward the table.

"Look. He couldn't even show up to a dinner he planned and wanted me to attend to."

"Jordan." Christina smacked my arm. "Stop being so damn petty, he's probably running late."

"Yeah whatever." I took a seat a the table. "Sup mom?"

"Sup mom?" My mom squinted her eyes at me with a mean mug on her face. "Jordan Russel Bank. If you don't get ya ass up and come over here and speak to me correctly, I'm going to come across this table and smack the shit out of you. And you know I will."

I sighed getting up going over to hug, them sitting back down. "My bad mom, I'm just not feeling this sh-. I mean this stuff. I'm really not."

"You need to hear what he has to say."

"That's what I just told him."

"Christina." I glared at her. She need to mind her business, I brought her head to be on my side. Not everyone else's.

"Don't give her that look. She's right." My mom pointed at Christina.

I sighed sucking my teeth. "Whatever man." I mumbled not really caring at this point.

"You need to watch ya fucking mouth Jordan, I don't care how upset you are. That's ya soon to be wife, and I'm your mother. You getting a lil too disrespectful now."

I sighed running my hands down my waves. "You right, I apologize baby." I pecked Christina lips lightly. "I'm sorry mom." I leaned over the table kissing her forehead.

"That's better." My mom smiled down at me.

"So, what's taking him so long. He was supposed to been here right?"

"Yes. But he texted me ten minutes ago and said he was running late, give him some time. He should be here in a couple of minutes.

"Alright." I sighed. "Should we order or what? Because I'm hungry."

"Yeah. I already ordered the drinks." My mom signaled for the waiter to come over. "I don't want to order, and then he be the only one without any food. No, I'm going to just order for him." She talked to herself as she scanned the menu.

"Whatchu' want babygirl?" I glanced at her and then looked at the menu. "You want the Blackened Tilapia? You can choose any two sides you want?"

"No, the other day I made me a piece of fish, I threw up."

"Oh yeah. You did tell me that." I nodded, looking back at the menu. "Well I'm getting the Double Decker chicken, with mashed potatoes, and the white cheddar macaroni."

"Ooh. I want that too."

"You want the same order as me?"

"No, I want the smocks mountain chicken, with the macaroni and cheese, and Caesar salad." She closed her menu.

"Why you telling me? The waiter coming over, tell her whatchu' want." I closed my menu leaning back in my chair.

"Why you acting like you can't order for me?" Christina lightly smacked my arm. "Go head baby, she coming?"

"No."

"Jordan order for that girl, it's not that serious." My mom closed her menu, and began to place her and 'my dad' order.

I glared at Christina. "Ard man" I sighed, I already wasn't in the mood, and Christina putting the icing on the cake acting like a damn baby.

After my mom ordered her food, I ordered me and Christina's next.

"Mom. It's going on 10 o'clock, and he still not here. I've been here for almost a hour man. we bout to go on dessert." I sucked my teeth glancing at the door.

"Baby, I know. He's probably running late. He works at a factory all the way across town. Give him time."

I sighed putting my fork down. "Why you always gotta make a excuse for him?"

"I'm not Jordan, I'm ju-

"Yes you are. You always try and make excuses for him, he a grown man. You shouldn't have to make excuses for him."

She sighed and grabbed her phone. "I be right back, I'm about to call him and see where he at." She walked away from the table.

"Jordan stop being so mean." Christina grabbed her fork and ate some of my mashed potatoes. I honestly didn't care right now. I just wanted to go home.

""I'm not. He was supposed to be here a hour ago." I looked down at my watch seeing it was 10 o'clock sharp. "The store close at 11."

"Your mom is probably right tho baby, he's probably running late. I don't think he would just not show up, especially after what he did." Christina rubbed my hand.

"You don't know my dad, how I  know my dad." I leaned back glancing at the door once again.

"Your right." She laid her head on my chest. "Do you want your mashed potatoes? Because they jut sitting there."

"Naw. Go ahead." I chuckled lightly. "You finished everything on ya plate?"

"Yeah. But I'm still a little bit hungry tho." She stuffed the mashed potatoes in her mouth. "Are we getting dessert too?"

"If you want. I'm not really in the mood for nothing else right now."

"So you don't want the food at all?" She looked up at me. It wasn't really nothing on my plate but a little bit of the macaroni and cheese and them mashed potatoes she was eating.

"Naw. Finish it greedy ass." I rubbed her side.

She chuckled eating more. "So what? These mashed potatoes are so good, I really need the recipe."

"Christina calm down." I chuckled watching her eat like she never ate before. "The food not going nowhere."

"I hate you." She laughed wiping the corners of her mouth. She had some mashed potatoes on the sides.

"Yeah whatever. You love my ass." I kissed her forehead.

"That, I do." She chuckled lowly putting her head back on my chest, and went back to eating the leftover mashed potatoes.

A couple of more minutes later my mom finally came back.

"What's his excuse on while he's running late?"

She sighed grabbing her purse off the end of the chair. "I'm sorry for wasting your time Christina, and Jordan. But he just said he's not coming. I don't know why, he didn't give me a explanation. He just said tell you he's not coming." She shook her head in disappointment.

"This exactly what I be talking bout man." I stood up throwing 4 twenties down. "Come on babygirl." I grabbed her sweater and put it on her.

"I know baby. And I'm sorry for even thinking he was going to change, and finally be here for you. I'm so sorry baby." My mom come and pecked my forehead. "Don't be sad baby, don't even worry about it. I was you father and mother all this time, don't think you need him." After she hugged and kissed us goodnight, we all left out the restaurant.

"You coming to my house or you going home?" I opened he car door and watch her get in, then shutting it afterwards

"You ask me this all the time, you know I'm coming over your house." I shut my car door, then putting the key in the engine.

"Ya ass ain't coming back to my house." I joked pulling off. "I'm tired of ya ass."

"Yes I am coming over there." She chuckled putting my hand between her thigh.

I smirked slightly. "You got panties on?" I rubbed her bare thigh.

"No." She giggled lowly opening her legs more so I can get more access to her pussy, that was already dripping wet.

"C'mon fatbutt." I reached my hand out.

"Wait babe. I need to find a scrunchie to tie my hair up." She walked around the bathroom butt naked and all, searching for one.

"It don't matter, ya hair not gone get wet. C'mon."

She sucked her teeth loudly, followed behind her rolling her eyes.

I chuckled. "Can't stop rolling ya eyes fa' shit. I can't wait until them bitches come out yo." I help her get into the tub.

"They not gone fall out stupid." She laughed finally stepping her feet in the tub, then straddling my lap.

"Watch, keep on rolling the bitches. Imma' still love you though, no eyes and all." I lifted my hand up and put her head down to kiss me.

"Jordannnnnnn." She whined. "You just wet my hair." She touched her hair where the water was at. It was barely any.

"Chill, it's not even that wet. You can dry it. Now c'mere." I tried to bring her face back down.

"No, Jordan. You wet my hair." She tried to get up and get out the tub.

"Aye. Chill that shit the fuck out, and c'mere." I brung her face down and slid inside of her at the same time, as we both shared a passionate kiss.
