Kena and I had rushed to get ready. We were currently waiting downstairs in front of the pack house. Most of the pack members were excited as they awaited their Elders, Kena her hand was warm in mine as she squeezed to reassure me it was going to be okay.

I smiled, leaning my head on her shoulder. She looked amazing in her black dress with a cut on the side exposing her tan, gorgeous leg. Her hair in a wave over her shoulder. I kissed her hand, 'You look amazing.'

A light blush covered her cheeks. 'You look gorgeous yourself by dear fiancé,' she whispered and the word alone caused butterflies to explode. Thankfully no one was paying attention to us to hear what she just said. 'They just crossed the border.' She said, pulling me closer. Her breath hot on my mark as she inhaled my scent.

Soon four black cars parked in front of the pack house. As we walked up to the cars, a young man opened the door from one of the cars and Amaruq and Ivy emerged from the cars. Ivy looked as sweet as ever, she opened her arms to pull me into a hug. 'I am glad to see you back Azalea.' She whispered, pecking my cheek. 'I am glad to be back,' I paused. 'Could I steal you for a minute later?'

She titled her head, 'Of course.'

Amaruq chuckled, shaking my hand when Ivy let me go. 'You're looking strong, like a real queen.' He turned towards Kena. 'You better watch it Kena, she'll beat you soon.' He ruffled Kena her hair and she growled, fixing her hair.

I chuckled. 'Don't worry love, I'll let you win.'

She narrowed her eyes at me before she smiled, 'I'll let you think you do, don't worry.'

Then another car door opened and a large, older man with silver grey hair. His grey beard made him look quite handsome, he extended his hand and a gorgeous woman with brown hair and soft brown eyes held his hand as she got out of the car. 'Brother, I am happy to see you.' Amaruq said, as they did a weird man hug. Ivy and the woman hugged each other tightly. I awaited them nervously, Kena her hand on my lower back soothed me.

They then turned towards Kena, he pulled her flat against his chest which earned a chuckle from the woman. His brown eyes then meeting mine, he extended his hand. I shook it with a small smile. 'B, this is my mate Azalea. Daughter of Deianira, the Lycan Queen.' Kena introduced me, pride and love filling her aura. 'I am thrilled to finally meet my sisters mate,' His eyes darted to his own mate as he wrapped his arm around her small shoulders. 'I remember the exact moment I met Belle.'

She chuckled, as she introduced herself to me. After a little small talk, we walked inside. Kena explained to Beowulf how she had built everything back up from scratch.

As we reached the living room, some of our pack members were still trying to hang the lights. Amaruq and Beowulf rushed to help as Ivy and Belle admired the paintings on the wall. I let out a deep breath, 'That was intense.'

Kena raised her eyebrow. 'Beowulf is an old soul and Belle fits him perfectly. The minute you earn his trust you have him as a friend for life.'

I wrapped my arms around her neck, her lips meeting mine softly. 'I got you something.' She whispered against my lips, holding up her hand. 'It belonged to your mother.'

She held up a gorgeous ring, I gasped as I took it in. It was a beautiful silver one, with a small diamond. But carved into the ring were the words Usque ad finem. 'What does that mean?'

She chuckled as she placed the ring on my finger. 'It is Latin for To the very end.'

I kissed her softly, I was sure I couldn't be more happy than I was right now. With my mate and the woman of my dreams. Besides, I couldn't wait to be able to call her my wife. Leto purred with excitement, Kena her eyes darted to me as if she knew exactly what I was thinking.

Belle and Ivy approached us, Ivy grabbed my hand as she pulled me away from Kena. Kena didn't have time to try and ask what was going on since Beowulf took her away. 'What did you want to tell me?' Ivy released my hand as we walked through the hall away from the crowd. I scratched the back of my neck, 'It is more a kind of question and I need advice.' I admitted.

Ivy motioned for me to continue. 'I kind of found my parents, but they're both stuck in the state between human and their wolf.' I started to explain the situation from the beginning. During the entire conversation Ivy watched me, just nodding her head. Belle on the other hand didn't even move a muscle, just looked around the crowd.

'So my question is, how am I able to bring them.. back?' I asked her, Ivy her green eyes took me in as she sighed. 'Unfortunately I can't answer that question, I've never heard of it happening. Have you Belle?'

Belle shook her head, 'I haven't, although maybe it's possible. Deianira and Apollo were half God. They were the strongest mates the world has ever heard of, no wonder Lycaon tried to separate them.'

I dropped my head, it was the answer I had feared but a small piece of me held on to the possibility of there being a different answer. Ivy wrapped her arm around me, 'I am sure she will watch over you as you get married.'

My eyes quickly darted to her and to Belle. Both of them laughing as they watched my confused expression. 'I am sorry to spoil the surprise dear, but the ring on your finger and the sudden party even Beowulf and Belle were invited to. It kind of made sense.'

I chuckled, 'We wanted to tell the entire pack including well, the family.'

Belle smiled, 'I am happy for the both of you. For a long time we have watched Kena struggle to rebuild her pack, struggle to survive without her mate. Until the day she had given up the hope to be able to find you.'

'I had too.' I admitted. Belle smiled, 'She instantly called me the day she saw you. She said she had finally met her match.'

Anger flared through me, but it didn't belong to me. It belonged to Kena, I could feel it through the bond as it burned through my body. Ivy sighed, 'Amaruq wants us to come back. Kena and Beowulf are.. arguing.'

'It takes just a single strong emotion for it to trigger.' Leto her words rumbled through me. My eyes widened, I knew she wouldn't be able to control the shift.

Belle her hand on my shoulder stopped me from rushing off. 'Breath, your shifting out of fear.' She pointed to the fur on my arms, I took a deep breath feeling the fur disappear. Belle eyed me, 'I am sure it won't be anger that will cause her to shift.'

'What do you mean?' I followed her and Ivy back to the pack house. Belle giggled, 'Kena her Lycan gene, I am sure she has a stronger emotion than anger towards Beowulf his information.'

'How did yo-?'

She cut me off, 'How did I know? I have known about Kena her Lycan gene since the day your mother told me. I have been watching and training Kena until she was old enough. I know plenty about being a Lycan and what it takes.'

Confusing still filled my system and Ivy sighed, 'She is a Lycan. Meet your mother's second Beta, Belle Azure.'

Before I could fire my questions a loud bang was heard, as a chair flew through the door. Beowulf stood with his arms crossed, not moving a muscle as the chair flew just an inch past his face. Kena her eyes were a glowing blue as she fought her wolf.

I shot an apologetic look towards Belle as I rushed towards Kena her side. Her eyes snapped towards me as a growl rumbled through her, she dipped her face in the crook of my neck. Her breath hot on my mark as she inhaled my scent, slowly calming herself down. 'What is going on?' I focused my attention on Beowulf but he chose to ignore me. His eyes still focused on Kena. 'Well?'

'It doesn't concern you.' He spoke calmly. I felt the anger flare up through our bond once again. Kena her head snapped up, 'She is my mate, my Luna. It does concern her Beowulf.' She snarled.

'It does not. She knows nothing about being a queen yet, let alone a Luna.' He spoke.

This time it was my growl that filled the room, visibly startling him as the aura of my Lycan shown through. His eyes darted to me, surprised before they turned to a stone cold. Leto shook with anger at the disrespect of the Alpha whose rank was far underneath her. She didn't give a shit about him being the oldest Elder, this was our pack and our mate he was disrespecting. Even Kena seemed to be concerned about the sudden shift of emotions through our bond, 'Rules seem to be important to you, right Beowulf?' I said coldly, his eyes met mine. 'Of course. It is what has caused the packs to live in harmony for years.'

'I see, so you should know it's only respectful to bow to the ones above you.' I smirked, letting the eyes of my Lycan shine through. His face contorted as a low growl erupted from his throat. In the corner of my eyes I saw Ivy and Amaruq trying not to laugh. Belle just watched me carefully, leaning against the doorpost.

'Well?' I said, motioning for him to bow. But the power after it was enough to make the regular wolves whimper. Yet he still didn't move, I could sniff the uncertainty he had towards this situation. 'Show some respect.' I growled suddenly, and he jumped at the command. He growled, but the command forced him to bow his head.

Belle chuckled, stepping forward. She then bowed her head, 'You are just like your mother. It is refreshing to see.' She then turned her attention to her mate, as she slapped him on the back of his neck. 'Ow!' He yelled.

'Kena and Azalea are right. You need to be more respectful. She invited you to her pack, her home. You must be blind if you don't see that they would give their own lives to protect the members of their pack. Kena is just like you idiot.'

Beowulf growled at the scolding of his mate, rubbing the sore spot on his head. Before turning towards me. 'Very well, I am sorry for my behavior Azalea. It is hard for me to accept the fact my dear sister is mated to the girl that lived with the one that betrayed us.'

I raised my eyebrow, 'What?'

'Conan.' Ivy explained.

'Conan didn't just try to kill Kena, he tried to end the life of Belle and Ivy. He sworn that if he wasn't allowed a second mate, none of us was allowed to have a mate.' Amaruq explained.

'Belle is too strong for him being a Lycan Beta. Ivy a witch, yet Kena didn't have a mate yet. So he tried to kill her instead, later he found out about your whereabouts. When he met Cyllene and she explained your.. well history. He thought he would be able to create the perfect mate bound and the strongest off-spring.' Beowulf explained, wrapping his arm around his mate.

'A few months ago I learned about Conan.. and the history of the Elders. I have also learned extremely much about my own history I am still trying to wrap my head around. I have learned Conan kidnapped me, they also explained his plans for my future,' I frowned. 'But I need you to know Beowulf. I would never ever do anything to harm this pack, or any of you. I rather risk myself than to risk Kena or the pack.'

He eyed me carefully before he sighed, smiling. 'I know that now, I apologize for my behavior. As the oldest Elder.. I feel the pressure of making sure everyone is okay and not being brought any harm.'

Amaruq clapped his hands together, 'Great, can we go to the dining hall now? I am starving.'

Everyone chuckled, Kena grabbed my hand. 'You handled that very well dear queen.'

I rolled my eyes. 'Let's go eat, alright.'

Kena chuckled, kissing my mark. 'Leave some room for dessert, little wolf.'
