A snarl escaped me I didn't know I could produce, Leto seemed stronger than before. I came face to face with my father fighting off three Lycans, he was clearly winning.

Three other Lycans came running, without even thinking I shifted so fast it surprised. I sprinted towards them, quite easily I fought them off. I towered over them, one of them lunged and with strength I never felt before I blocked him, sending him flying against the wall. The other two gazed at each other before attacking at the same time, Leto seemed to enjoy this little fight as she easily blocked and dodged their attacks before ripping their heads off.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. A whooshing sound startled me and in the corner of my eye I saw the Lycan that I tossed against the wall throw a dagger at my father.

Without thinking I jumped in front of it as it cut through my flesh, right in the back. A whimper escaped me as I pulled it out. Apollo his eyes widened. 'You idiot! I am already death, why would you do that.' He started to lick the wound.

'More Lycans..' I growled, 'And you are not death, Deianira told me you an-' I breathed, but before I could finish the sentence more Lycans barged in, snarling and howling to alert the others. My father growled, shifting into his Lycan state as he tried to fight off all the Lycans. He growled at me to stay down but I refused, I had to help him.

I had to return to Kena and I had to find a way to bring my parent back.

And then, out of nowhere I recognized Brynn and Dani. Brynn instantly shifting into her Lycan as she ripped the Lycans to pieces. Dani eyed me, 'You sexy, sexy beast! You did it!' She yelled at me, giving me a thumbs up.

I chuckled, rolling my eyes. I had missed that girl, she shifted into her wolf as she tried to fight off some Lycans. My instinct took over and I threw myself in front of her. 'Lycans protect their wolves.' Leto spoke before snapping the head of one of the Lycans.

After a few minutes the fight ended, I took a deep breath and shifted back. Dani instantly jumped in my arms, hugging me and I quickly averted my gaze away from her. Before smacking me on the chest, 'You stupid bitch! Do not ever, ever try and solve things yourself! Look at me when I am scolding you!' She growled.

'Eh, Dani. You are naked.' I explained. Her face reddened as she met the gaze of the only male wolf in the room. Brynn chuckled as she walked up towards me, handing her shirt to Dani. 'I am happy to see you my queen.' She bowed her head.

'How is Kena?' I asked, a worried expression filled their faces and I knew my answer I had to get back home, immediately. I turned towards my father, 'I will come back to explain what I learned, please don't leave.'

He sat down, tilting his head. 'I will wait, I am bound to this place anyways.'

I chuckled. 'I know and thank you,' I paused, 'Dad.' I smiled, giving him a hug. His tail wagging fast as he licked my face. Brynn and Dani frowned but didn't ask. I turned towards them, 'Let's get home.'

We shifted again, running back towards the woods. 'I am coming home Kena, hang in there.'

~Kena POV~

I growled, rubbing my temple. Alcione wasn't anywhere near, she longed for her mate and the pain was getting too much. The last few days we had regular rogue attacks. I knew they were planned, I knew they were waiting for me to be weak enough. Thankfully I hadn't lost any pack members yet, but they were all on edge. They slept in shifts, they took break in shifts and young wolves brought them food whenever they were on patrol.

I wanted to get out of there, but my body was failing me. Alcione whimpered, 'I know.. I know Alcione..'

I sighed, holding the one thing that had a small hint of Azalea her scent on it. It was the one thing that kind of soothed the pain, the one thing that kept me going.

'Alpha.. another attack on the north side. It's the rogue leader, we are losing!' A voice sounded, I growled. Forcing myself up, my legs refusing to move. 'Alora.. please help me.'

It was beneath me to beg, but I had to help my pack. I was an Alpha for crying out loud. Within seconds Alora opened the door, her gaze taking me in before meeting mine. She quickly hid the worried expression. 'Help me outside.' I commanded, she frowned. 'Yes ma'am,' I wrapped my arm around her shoulder, leaning my body on her. 'You shouldn't leave this room.' Alora argued, leading me outside.

'I have to Alora, I need to protect my pack.' I snapped back.

'You know he will challenge you for the position. Their won't be a pack to protect.' She growled and I knew she had a point. But I had to do something, I saw Rollin rushing over, positioning herself on the other side of me. 'Kena he doesn't know the entrance. Just let us handle the situation. You are too weak.'

A growl escaped me. I was sick and tired of being called weak, I wasn't weak. Just because Azalea wasn't around, it doesn't mean I would go down without a fight. Alcione agreed with a low growl. A soft twinge in my heart startled me, it felt warm and goosebumps spread themselves over my arms.

I shook my head, shaking the thought. I needed to focus, in the distance a group of 20 rogues entered, in front of them a full-grown brown wolf. I knew it was the rogue leader. Alcione her growl rumbled through me at the sight of my pack members being tossed in front of me, barely alive. He stepped in front of their bodies, his eyes fixated on me as she bared his teeth.

My eyes flickered to Alcione and back to mine. I took a deep breath, 'For Azalea. For the pack.' I growled, Alcione howled with excitement. My eyes meeting Alora and I nodded my head, she sighed. Letting me go, Rollin took a step back. Bowing her head lightly, most of the pack members were still in their wolf form. Growling at the rogues, I took a step forward. 'I would like for my warriors to be brought to the pack house.' I told him, I was glad my voice didn't break from the pain. He nodded his head, 'Help them to the pack house.' I ordered some.

I took a deep breath, letting Alcione take control as we shifted into our wolf. Even though I was a female, my wolf towered over his. My ears flat in the back of my neck, we slowly circled around each other. I wasn't going to lunge first, he wanted to challenge me, the daughter of the moon goddess herself. The small warm feeling in my chest returned, Alcione purred at the feeling.

I internally frowned, I wasn't sure what was going on. 'I hope you put up more of a fight than your little mate did.' He smirked as his voice rang in my head. My eyes snapped towards him, how dare he touch what was ours. I growled, 'What is it like? Being Cyllene her little slave?' I retorted.

He growled, anger evident in his eyes as he lunged forward. I dodged it easily and clawing at this side, scratching the skin lightly. He let out a small yelp. I had the advantage of being faster and stronger, yet I knew I wouldn't be able to hold on that long. Azalea and I had been separated for too long, he lunged at me again but at the last second he moved to the right side, clamping his jaw on my neck. I could feel the fear in the crowd, I let myself fall on my side, smashing him against the ground and he let go. I snapped at him, but he dodged it.

He lunged at me, my claw connecting with his muzzle, sending crashing into a huge tree. I was panting, the pain in my chest was unbearable. 'You are too weak Alpha.. too weak to fight.' He growled menacing. He was right, I knew that.

He attacked again, aiming for my leg. I was barely in time to kick him in the head as he tried to get up I towered over him, baring my teeth. Sparks erupted deep in my chest, 'Hold on love, I'm almost home.' Her soft sweet voice echoed through my mind, Azalea. I felt the strength return to my body, slowly but steady. I dodged his next attack with my side, biting down hard at this shoulder. I growled, his eyes were a dull brown as I continued to hurt him more and more.

This time I lunged at him and in one swift move I clamped my jaw into his neck, he whimpered still trashing and wiggling. He dropped his head, I growled loudly. 'Do you give up?'

He nodded his large head and I dropped him to the ground, he whimpered as he tried to stood but his legs couldn't support the weight of his body. The rogues watching us seemed unsure of what to do next, I shifted back in to my human form, Alora and Rollin were instantly by my side to support my body. My heart was beating out of my chest as I tried to keep my breathing under control.

Alora her eyes widened and I could hear her heartbeat beat faster, her eyes flickering to the woods. Tears forming in the corner of her eyes, but before I could say anything the ground vibrated and the rogue leader aimed for me. I pushed Alora and Rollin aside, I closed my eyes and prepared myself for the pain but it never came.

The most intoxicating scent filled my senses, the scent I adored and had missed so much. I opened my eyes and my mouth fell open. In front of me was my mate, growling in her Lycan wolf form as she stood proud and tall. Her coat was pure white, a true royalty. She had the rogue leader up in the air with her claw around his throat. 'Shift.' She commanded, and I nearly fell to my knees from the aura that lingered around her.

He whimpered and shifted back to his human form, butt naked. He looked up to my mate with absolute fear in his eyes. But my mate wasn't having an of that. 'This will be my last warning to you, never ever show your face here again. you run back to Cyllene and tell her if she wants to kill me, she can come here and fight me herself.' With that she tossed him back on the floor, he scrambled himself up to his feet and shifted into his wolf form before running after the rogues back in to the forest.

Her beautiful silver/grey eyes met mine. Tears rolling down her face, I was at lost for words. My hands grabbing her waist with trembling fingers, gentle, scared of hurting her. But also because I couldn't believe she was really here.

She chuckled, the melody of a song I missed listening to. 'I am not going to break love, I am not as delicate as you think I am.'

I couldn't help but laugh, I had missed her stubborn remarks. 'I still feel like I am going to break you. I can't believe you are back, my mate.. my Luna. I thought-'

She puts a finger to my lips, silencing me.

'Just shut up and kiss me.' She breaths and I did, connecting our lips in a passionate kiss. I could feel the bound snap back in its place, the broken pieces mending back together.

She was home.
