I didn't know how many days had gone by, Alora had sneaked in some food from time to time. Dani hadn't spoken much, they came in every few hours to get some answers. After the first time I learned that the belt was laced with wolfs bane and even though she didn't seem to be affected by it, her wolf was getting exhausted.

I listened to her heavy breathing as she slept. I heard the familiar shuffle of Alora her feet. 'Hey,' She whispered. 'I got some food for both of you and some herbs for Dani.'

Dani woke at the sound of her name as she slowly got up, groaning loudly as she held on to the bars. Alora smiled as she handed her some food. 'Thanks, gives me some energy for the next tickle session.' She joked, but her expression gave her away. She was exhausted, every single beating took a little more of her wolf.

She punched my shoulder lightly. 'Everything for the queen.'

I frowned. 'I am no queen. I am an Omega.'

She laughed, her eyes twinkling. 'Oh please, they could never take your rank away. Even if they killed you beca-.' She quit when Alora quickly shook her head.

'Oh,' Dani mouthed. 'Could really use a beating now..'

Alora rolled her eyes. 'Explain,' I spoke, I was getting emotional from the events before and all the lies, Leto was close to the surface. They glanced at each other. 'Now.' I spoke, my eyes glowing white. Dani whimpered. 'Fine.. you ar-'

'My date to the ball.' A heavy voice suddenly spoke, snapping me out of whatever state I was in.

Conan walked forward. 'Need my queen,' he glanced at Dani who growled loudly. 'at my side, don't I love.'

He motioned for a guard to open my door as he grabbed my arm. 'Mark my words Conan. I will rip your tiny ass extra limb off when I get the chance.' She growled.

Conan turned around. 'Love.. you won't even be alive by the end of this day, you can mark my words on that.' Three guards walked into the holding cell.

He turned to Alora. 'Dear, please make sure my date will be presentable for tonight's ball. I will pick her up in two hours.' He focused his attention back on Dani, his eyes turning a darker shade.

The guards pulled us away from the scene in front of us. 'Let the dance begin.' Dani said softly.

I let the hot water run over my body, it felt great after days without a shower and laying on the cold floor. The hot water relaxed my tense muscles as I let out a deep sigh.

Leto was growing restless in the back of my mind, growling softly. 'We'll rise, just you wait.' She repeated twice before I shut her out.

I turned off the shower and wrapped a long warm towel around my battered body. Alora awaited me with a beautifully wrapped box. 'What is that?' I took the box from her hands.

She smiled softly. 'Just open it you dickhead. I got to make you look presentable.'

I placed the box at the small desk and opened it, it contained a small note. 'Forte Tempus, my dear mate.'

Mate.. my mate, a warm fussy feeling spread itself through my body. Alora smiled softly as she watched me change into the beautiful forest green dress.

'Time is changing,' She said. I raised my eyebrow. 'It is what it means, it is what triggers your wolf right now. Azz.. there is so much to explain and not much time to do it now. I've kept you safe for four years...' She whispered as she finished doing my hair.

We heard a footsteps approaching. 'Alora..' I tried but she shook her head, shushing me. 'Time will explain everything.'

Conan opened the door and let his eyes roam over me, I felt disgusted and let out a low growl, he chuckled. Without saying a word he grabbed my arm. 'Tonight will be special.' He said. I growled, trying to wriggle my arm out of his grip. 'Why is that?'

He laughed, the kind of laugh that sounded familiar as a pit formed itself in my stomach. I shook away the feeling. 'Tonight your lovely friend will die in the eyes of the moon and you my dear, will be marked as mine.'

I abruptly stopped walking, 'w-what?'

He didn't say anything as he smirked, pulling me towards the gigantic doors. I could already feel the vibrations of the music and the laughter of the hundreds of wolves.

The doors slowly opened for us, Conan didn't let me out of his sight as he guided me through the crowd. 'Can I have everyone's attention for a minute!' He spoke loudly, the music died as everyone turned around. I recognized some of the different packs, I smiled as two wolves, I didn't recognize smiled at me, bowing their heads.

'Thank you,' Conan spoke. 'I want to thank you all for coming, as tonight is a special day. Now let's feast and at midnight there will be an announcement,' With that he turned his attention to me. 'Stay.' He ordered.

I crossed my arms, raising my eyebrow as he walked away from me. 'Woof?'

'We can't let them kill Dani.' I remarked to Leto, who growled approvingly. I rushed towards the hallway, making my way through the crowd. I rounded the corner towards the basement as I bumped into someone. 'Accalia, what are you doing here?' Randy, another omega said as he struggled holding the cleaning supplies. 'I-eh.. need to see the woman in there.'

'Oh,' He said, 'They took her away already.'

'Where to?'

He shrugged. 'Where to Randy!' I growled.

'Outside, calm do-'

I couldn't hear the rest as I rushed towards the front of the pack house, there was some commotion. I quickly scanned the area when I noticed Dani, she was sitting on her knees with her arms tied up. She looked completely broken. I slowly walked over, her eyes snapped towards me with a low growl. Her eyes were glowing, her wolf was ready to snap everyone's head off with the remaining strength she had left.

''Dani.. It is me, let me help you.' She growled again, but her wolf gave me the benefit of the doubt as she returned to the back of her mind.

'Hello princess,' She whispered. 'You shouldn't be here. I failed my task.. please forgive me.' She spoke softly, looking up to the moon.

I kneeled down in front of her, grabbing her wrists. 'Dani.. you are one stubborn as wolf, a wolf that can handle a lot. You have helped me, now let me help you.' I whispered, trying to untie the cuffs. I bit my lip, they were laced with wolfs bane.

'Fuck..' I groaned. Dani smiled. 'Let it be sis..'

I growled as she laughed, keeping quiet. Suddenly a strong hand on my shoulder pulled me away from Dani. 'Tsk, tsk.. I told you to stay.' Conan whispered in my ear, as a cold shiver ran over my back. 'Yeah well, I am not a dog.'

He laughed, 'So stubborn, I'll have to get rid of that.' He turned towards the crowd that was slowly forming in front of me. 'I would like you to see the culprit of killing my dear sister and her pack members. We found her roaming around our border, thankfully we caught her.'

I heard some whispers and gasping, I turned towards Dani who rolled her eyes as two other guards held her down. 'And for that, we will kill you.' He walked towards Dani, I watched her struggle and trying to wriggle herself out of the grip from the two guards. I looked at the crowd for help, the two female wolves from before made eye contact with me as their eyes quickly flickered from glowing back to normal as they moved away from the crowd.

'It is a shame really..' I heard Conan whisper as he grabbed Dani her head, ready to snap it. 'What do I do!' I growled, I closed my eyes.

'Breath love, feel the power of the moon and the ancestors before you.' A soft voice whispered. I closed my eyes, feeling the unfamiliar power surge through my veins, I heard weird phrases in a language I couldn't quite figure out. The power surged through me as I felt myself connect with Leto on a complete different level.

I opened my eyes, they were glowing white as I growled loudly. Shocking most of the crowd. 'Let her go.' I growled, taking a step forward. Conan flinched before he laughed as he turned towards me. 'It was about time you showed yourself, I knew your wolf had come out.' He dropped Dani to the floor as he walked over to me. 'You see, marking someone like you.. is impossible in their normal state,' He chuckled as his canines slowly showed themselves. 'Marking, you in your royal state.. I would be so incredibly powerful. Every pack will bow down to me.'

He moved closer, when loud howling distracted him. Making the entire pack look in the direction of a group of nine wolves walk over towards us. 'Wow..'
