Allison's POV.

My eyes are glued to the TV but my mind keeps whirling around that cringey-awkward moment I had with Nick in the school hallway, I couldn't move or speak when his thumb made contact with my bottom lip. I've never felt my legs become that weak ever in my life, not only did I want him to continue, I needed him to do more than just touch my lips. I seemed to have liked the way he stared into my eyes, it was as if he was searching for something, I liked the way his eyes shifted from my eyes down to my lips while his other hand caressed my stomach and-

Snap out of it!!

Get a hold of yourself, Allison, Jesus.

Oh God, I really do not like this at all, my heart jumps every time I think about it and I have tried to get his face out of my head but I can't. it's all I can think about and to top it off, I agreed to go with Carl to the stupid school dance next Friday.

"Allie!" My mom taps my arm, screaming my name in the process. I jump.

"What?" I respond, sitting up on the couch.

"I have called your name five times, are your ears okay?" she bends my head to check my left ear, I shove her hands away.

"I'm not deaf, mom." I rub my eyes cause they suddenly hurt, I notice that my mom is in her uniform and it's like 8pm. "Are you going to work?" I ask.

"Yes, I exchanged shifts with Mary-"

"But Mom." I whine.

I really hate being left alone in this house at night, I feel like someone is watching me or someone is going to break in and murder me in cold blood.

I watch a lot of murder documentaries.

"It's just for tonight, honey, don't fight with me on this." she leans to kiss my forehead.

My mom seems happier and brighter this week, I didn't tell her about Dad texting me on her birthday because I don't want to take that smile away from her face.

"Can I invite Amanda over?" I ask in a lazy tone.

"Always." She gives me an approving smile then leaves.

I grab my phone from the coffee table to text her, *mom just left, wanna come and sleep over?*

*Be there in less than a flash* she replies, I smile before locking my phone and putting it back on the coffee table.

I think Amanda's endless story telling is going to help me stop thinking about Nick and what happened earlier at school, I'm not the kind of girl that sits around and thinks about boys all day like a lovesick potato.

Well atleast I'm trying not to be.

I head over to the kitchen and pull myself a glass of water which I end up drinking rapidly.

I can't even eat anything since the incidence because my throat feels really heavy and it's hard for me to swallow food.

I hear the doorbell ring.

Well that was fast.

I drop the glass in the sink and I sprint to open the front door, I almost close the door after setting my eyes on the company that she brought with her.

Sofia, Lilian and some chick called Victoria. Lilian rolls her eyes at me while the other two are smiling back at me.

"What are these people doing here?" I ask Amanda, ignoring their presence.

"What do you mean? We are all here to sleep over." Says Sofia, slightly lifting her shoulders.

I have no idea what is happening right now, Sofia and Amanda are now friends and they're cool with sharing the same guy? Am I missing something here or what.

"I only invited Amanda and I don't have enough pajamas for all of you." I point out, biting my teeth.

I can say literally anything to get these rich rats off my property.

"Girl, we brought our own PJs and-"

"The bitch clearly doesn't want us here, Nick told me about how uptight and lame she is, can we please go home?" Lilian looks at me as she says this.

Nick said I was uptight and lame? To Lilian? Why would he say that and then try to do whatever he tried to do to me in the hallway, I don't get it.

Wait, I don't care.

Ugh, Why do I care? He's a jerk.

"Come on in." I open the door wider for them to enter, I don't know why but I just want to prove Lilian wrong.

They all get inside, I see that they brought a huge pink suitcase with them.

My dead body can fit perfectly fine in there, they could be planning my death right this second.

"What's in the suitcase?" I ask out of curiosity while I close the door behind them.

"Knives, hammers, clippers, plastics and scissors." Says Lilian but I can tell she's being sarcastic.

"Lily, please stop being a bitch, we're all friends here." Sofia warns her friend, "The bag is packed with cute PJs and makeup." She says to me with a smile on her face.

Did Sofia just defend me against her best friend then smile at me? Am I dreaming? I feel like I am and if I am then is it a nightmare?

Amanda comes to stand next to me.

"Look, I was with them when you texted me and they suggested that they come with-"

"Don't." I raise a silencing finger, "You don't have to explain." I start walking to my bedroom and they all follow me.

First she ditched me at lunch today and now she brings a couple of popular kids to my house, to our sleepover.

I seriously don't know what Jason did to her.

"Welcome." I say in a lazy sarcastic tone as I open my bedroom door.

"Cute room." Sofia looks around the room.

I don't know if she means that.

"Thanks?" I mutter under my breath.

I watch them unload their stuff, Sofia passes each one of us expensive silky pajamas and forces us to put them on, Amanda and I excused ourselves and went to change from my bathroom while the rest of them changed in my room, by the time Amanda and I got back, Sofia and the friends were doing each other's makeup.

I know they're gonna force me to do it as well but I have never let anyone do my makeup, I love looking natural.

"C'mon Maddie, you're up next." Sofia informs Amanda after she's done with Victoria and Lilian.

Maddie? I raise my eyebrows in questioning at Amanda but she just shrugs it off and walks to where Sofia is doing her work.

Now they're controlling her, this is serious.

"So which one is Nick's window?" Lilian is standing by my window and staring at Nick's house.

Oh please.

If they are here to spy on Mr hot guy nextdoor then they might as well jump out of that window on their way out, the last thing I need is for that guy to come over here and make this drama bigger than it already is.

"The one that's straight ahead." I instruct.

"Oww, ever caught him naked or shirtless?" Sofia chirps cheerfully, wiggling her eyebrows at me.

The memory of Nick taking his shirt off right by his window runs through my mind and a smile flickers on my lips.

"Nope." I bite my lower lip.

"Then why'd you smile?" Lilian moves from my window and sits on my bed.

"What? I can't smile?" I respond snidely.

Sofia dismisses Amanda then waits for me to go sit, I don't argue with her, I just sit and let her paint my face with crap.

"I wish you guys had come to club 54 with us and the boys." Says Sofia as she draws red lipstick on my lower lip.

"Yeah that place is really dope." Victoria agrees with Sofia.

"I don't think it's their kind of crowd." I hear Lilian's blunt tone.

Well she's a hateful Little thing, but she's right, I'm only seventeen years old and clubs are not my kind of crowd.

"So what did you guys do at this 'club' " asks Amanda, air quoting club.

I can guess what happened, Sofia and Jason were all up in their feelings while the rest of the idiots drank like twenty five year old adults.

"Jason and I left, I heard Miles and Vic went dancing while Nick and Lilian played a drinking game and made out." Sofia spills the tea.

My heart quickened it's pace at the mention of Nick kissing Lilian, I mean I know he's some kind of a player or whatever but I don't know why my heart is reacting this way.

"Bitch, shut up, you kissed Nick?" Looks like Victoria is just as shocked as my heart.

"I'm not gonna give you details but yes." it's like this conversation just brought life into her already existing life because she's smiling now.

"I'm sorry but I gotta ask, how was it?" Victoria gives Lilian her full on attention.

Ah geez, I really don't want to hear this and by the eye roll Amanda just gave Victoria and Lilian, she doesn't want to hear it either.

"It was hot, it was like he knew exactly what I wanted him to do," At this moment we are all quietly listening to Lilian's makeout confession, "He was like a professional kisser and I Know that doesn't exist but I felt like it did, I felt alive when he kissed me and it got hotter when we went back to Miles's house and he-"

"Okay okay we get it, can we please talk about something else?" Amanda cuts Lilian off.

She should have let her finish, I was actually imagining the whole thing and picturing what I almost had.

What?

God, no I wasn't.

I hear the doorbell ring, I wonder who that might be.

Sofia removes the scrunchie that's holding my hair into a bun and runs her fingers through.

"There you go, okay the people are here." She starts packing her beauty products then stands up to leave the room.

"The people? What people?" I ask, feeling a little left out.

"Sofia you fucking promised!" Amanda interjects, raising her voice at Sofia.

What is happening.

"Don't use that tone on me Amanda, I'm not your fucking friend." Sofia points at Amanda, putting emphasis on her name.

I hope they don't fight in my room, it takes me two whole hours to clean this place up.

"Maybe she doesn't have the right to scream at you but I definitely do and I say I want some answers!" I flip at her.

Lilian and Victoria giggle to each other, Amanda and I roll our eyes at them, Sofia walks to where I'm standing, placing her hands on both my shoulders and taking a deep breath as she shakes her head at me like I'm dumb or something.

"A sleepover is not a sleepover without boys and this is a house that has never experienced a party before so I invited a few people over." She smirks.

I can totally see myself dragging her by her hair down the stairs and out of my house.

Should I do that? Can I do that?

Calm down, Allison.

I breathe in and out deeply in order to cool my nerves.

"Nobody is throwing a stupid party in my house, no way." I shake my head.

I'm going to take this lightly because I'm not a violent person, that's how my parents raised me, unlike these people who only think of themselves.

"Too late, darling, they are already here." She winks and leaves me standing there like a freaking statue.

God damnit, what if one of the neighbors call the cops and complains about the noise? I can end up in jail and I wouldn't want to see that disappointed look on my mom's face. I can't believe this is happening to me of all people.
