"Okay, this is your final session of the day." Reed shouted across the room. "I'll be showing you how to fight and then you'll be practising, okay?"

Everybody nodded.

"Good. Now, the better you do, the faster we can all go home, so let's get started."

He started out by showing us all a few basic moves and telling us about fighting technique.

I was buried at the back of the group behind the over-eager recruits who were excited to start fighting each other.

"So those were the few moves we'll be practising for today, but before you get started, I need a volunteer."

Of course most of the group's hands flew up immediately, but I stood still with my arms crossed, waiting to see the demonstration.

Reed's eyes scanned the room as he looked for his volunteer, but a mischievous smile crept onto his face as our eyes locked.

I began shaking my head at him, knowing exactly where this was going.

"Julia, how about you come on up here?" he smirked.

Everybody quickly turned to face me as I reluctantly walked up to the large fighting ring in which Reed was stood.

I narrowed my eyes at him, causing him to bite his lip in amusement.

"Now, I'm going to be demonstrating some of these fighting techniques on Julia." he announced. "Ready?"

Before I could reply, Reed had flipped me over his shoulder and slammed me down on the floor, pinning my hands above my head.

I looked up at him in shock as he smirked down at me.

"Really?" I mumbled quietly enough that no-one else would hear me.

"When you're pinning someone down, you have to be sure to keep a firm hold around their wrists and keep their legs down with yours." he announced, not taking his eyes off me.

"Shame you forgot that vital step." I winked.

I swung my legs up between us and pushed Reed back with my feet harshly, giving me enough time to crawl out from under him and stand back up.

"And that's exactly why you remember to pin their legs down." he said, standing back up quickly and brushing himself down as I stood beside him smugly. "Now, everybody get into partners and practice the moves I've just shown you."

I began to walk back towards the group, who were now filing out, but was stopped by Reed grabbing my arm and pulling me back towards him.

"You are going to be my practice partner." he smirked.

"Reed..." I said sternly.

"What? There's an odd number, so either that or you practice alone." he shrugged.

"Fine." I sighed. "Teach me how to kick your ass."

"Cute that you think you'll ever be able to do that sweetheart." he said, leaning closer towards me.

I tried to take him by surprise and hit him from the side but he blocked my arm immediately. I tried twice more with my right arm and then my left, but he held on and twisted me around to face the wall.

I could feel his warm breath on my ear as he leaned in to whisper to me.

"You're hot when you're angry." he whispered, keeping a firm hold on my arm behind my back.

"I'm just getting started." I breathed.

"Well you're going to have to try harder than that."

He released my arm and I turned around to face him quickly.

I attempted to kick him but he caught my leg immediately and threw it back down.

"Did you not listen to any of the moves I just taught you?" he said.

I moved closer to him and looked up straight into his eyes.

"Well I can't exactly flip you over my shoulder...but you could always just teach me your other moves at home." I whispered, looking him up and down seductively.

His eyes were fixes on mine as I slowly snaked my leg around his and pushed him onto the ground with full force.

Leaving him sat on the ground looking shocked.

"Rule number 3. Catch your opponent off guard." I chuckled.

"You play dirty." he scoffed.

I held my hand out to him to help him up, but he just pulled me down on top of him so that we were both now lying on the floor.

I was being held on top of him by his hand on my back, stopping me from moving.

"It's like you're trying to make our relationship obvious." I whispered as I watched his eyes move from my eyes to my lips and back again.

"I can't have all the recruits thinking you're available." he smiled cheekily.

"You're so annoying." I laughed, trying to stand up.

"You love me."

"I do." I sighed.

After an hour or so of fighting practice, Reed had taught me quite a few new moves and I could feel myself improving already.

After weekly training I'd certainly become a pretty good fighter.

Once we were all finished, the recruits and I were sent out to get some refreshments, while the boys went for a debrief.

Fortunately, not many people had been paying attention to Reed and I in the gym, meaning they hadn't caught on to me.

After we'd all been to get a drink, we began to slowly gather back in the main hall.

When I walked in, I saw about half of the recruits already gathered, as well as Blade and Cyrus talking on the right side of the room.

I looked around to try and find Reed amongst the bunch of people, when my eyes landed on a small group of people that had gathered in the corner.

It was Reed surrounded by a group of girls, all twirling their hair and giggling profusely. A couple of them seemed to be recruits, where as the others were just random girls I'd never seen before.

"Are you okay Julia?" Helen asked.

"Excuse me for a minute." I said.

My jaw had clenched and I could feel complete jealousy overwhelming me.

I walked over to Blade and Cyrus, probably looking extremely angry.

"Oh hey Jules, how was trai-" Blade began.

"Can you pass me one of your knives please?" I asked.

"What? Why do you need my knife?"

"Just pass me a knife please Blade." I said impatiently.

He did as I asked and I turned to look directly across the room where they were all stood.

There was one girl standing out among them, she was blonde and looked extremely flirtatious. It sickened me.

I looked directly at my target and brought my hand back, ready to throw.

"Julia what are you doing?" I heard Cyrus from behind me.

"Newbie, don't-"

But before they could stop me, I threw the knife at full speed and it landed on the wall just centimetres away from her face.

She let out a piercing scream and the room went silent as she spotted me across the room.

I stood with my arms crossed and my eyes narrowed, as the whole group of girls turned to look at me.

Reed's eyes soon landed on me as he'd realised what had just happened, and his mouth dropped open slightly.

"You psycho, are you crazy?" the girl screeched at me. "You could have killed me!"

"Don't tempt me." I said through gritted teeth, staring directly at Reed as I heard the boys chuckling behind me.

The people around me all stayed completely silent in shock as I stormed out of the room and towards the car park.

I could hear Reed running after me, but I just increased my speed.

I stomped towards the car and got in, crossing my arms and staring out of the window like a stroppy little kid.

Reed soon ran out of the building and got into the driver's seat beside me.

But I avoided looking at him and continued my stare out of the window.

"Jules, what the hell was that?"

"What do you think it was Reed?" I asked, turning to look at him. "Those girls were all over you!"

"Oh...you were jealous." he smirked.

"That's not the point. Are you telling me, that if I was stood there, surrounded by a load of guys flirting with me, you'd be completely fine with it?"

"Well...no."

"Exactly."

"But you have nothing to worry about babe. I didn't even notice them."

"Oh please." I scoffed.

"Jules, you are the only girl I care about. I'm fucking crazy about you." he whispered, grabbing my chin in his hand.

"Really? Do you mean that?" I said weakly.

"Yes." he laughed. "How many times do I have to tell you that?"

"I don't know, I just don't like it when other girls are fawning all over you, I feel like...never mind."

"Like what Jul?"

"Like you'll eventually leave me for one of them!" I admitted reluctantly.

"Hey, where the hell did that come from?" he said as his forehead wrinkled in dismay.

"Reed, you're so out of my league it's unreal. You're kind, you're funny, you're just...everything." I explained, looking down into my lap. "And I worry that one day, you'll see one of these girls, who looks like a supermodel and you just...won't want me anymore."

"Won't want you, what are you talking about?" he said, taking my hand and making me look directly into his eyes. "Julia, you are the most beautiful girl in the world. You can make me laugh like no-one else can and you're the most caring, understanding, bad ass girl I have ever met. You mean everything to me and nobody else could ever even compare to you. I love you so fucking much, so don't ever think like that again."

When he said that to me, I almost began tearing up. I hadn't realised that he really thought that of me.

He really does love me.

I slowly leaned over and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him close to me.

"I love you so much." I whispered as my voice cracked slightly.

"I'm sorry about those girls, I wouldn't have spoken to them if-"

Before he could finish apologising, I grabbed his face and cut him off by kissing him intensely.

"I'm sorry for getting jealous." I said.

"I don't mind, honestly, when you threw that knife...it was so hot."

We both burst out laughing as I leaned my forehead against his.

"Let's go home." I breathed.
