Two days later, it was time for my mission.

Ivy had come to the house for the whole afternoon to help me look as sexy as possible. It was completely out of my comfort zone, but I was determined to do this and show the boys that they've underestimated me.

I was wearing a tight black dress, which was short and showed my curves in all the right places, along with a pair of tall designer heels. My makeup was fully glam, with gold eye-shadow, long false eyelashes and a lip plumping lip gloss. My hair was also curled and flowed over my shoulders perfectly.

I didn't feel beautiful nor did I feel pretty...I felt hot and there's a difference.

I would never usually dress like this, it all felt far too much but tonight I had a job to do and I was going to do it well.

By 8PM, Tris had arrived to pick me up. She was also wearing similar attire to me and it was completely opposite to how she usually looked.

You could tell that she truly loved her job if she was willing to go to these lengths.

"Wow Tris, you look...different." Ivy said as we opened the door to greet her.

"Don't even say anything." she sighed, looking down at her tightly fitted dress.

"You look good Tris, now let's get ready to kick some ass!" I exclaimed, far too excited than I should have been.

"Somebody's excited for her first mission." she said as we walked to the car.

"You know it."

"Well, don't get too happy, this isn't as easy as you think."

"I know but I have a plan. I'm going to make sure this all goes well."

"Good, now let's go kick some ass." she smirked, repeating my words purposefully.

A little while later, we arrived outside the casino. Tris quickly parked the car and we got ready to go inside.

"You ready?" she asked, passing me my earpiece.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I breathed.

We both strutted through the entrance of the casino to be greeted by large security guards, roulette tables, slot machines and loud background chatter.

Suddenly, Cyrus's voice became clear in my earpiece as we walked through the room.

He talked me through the building, telling me about the staircase up to the office and where the best places to distract were.

He told me that the man I was looking for was in his late 30's, his name was Marco Hernandez and he had a full beard with slicked back dark hair. He was wearing a black suit and was currently sat at one of the roulette tables in the far right corner.

I shot Tris a quick nod to indicate that I was on my way and she headed the opposite way.

I looked around the casino and soon spotted my target. I strutted over to the table and made sure to sit beside him.

Just as I sat down, I noticed a couple of the guys around the room in disguise. I hadn't seen Reed yet though, which was probably a good thing seeing as he'd knock me off my game.

I then focused all of my attention on the man beside me.

"Hello there beautiful." he said in a strong Italian accent, starting the conversation and making it easier for me than I thought it'd be.

"Why hello there." I said in a seductive manner, leaning my elbow on the table and tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"What's a beautiful girl like you doing in a place like this?" he asked, turning to fully face me.

"I actually quite enjoy gambling, it gives me a certain...thrill."

"Oh it does? Well, I happen to own this casino." he said in a low voice, almost a whisper. "I could give you the full tour."

The man in front of me made me feel almost queasy. I didn't find him particularly attractive and certainly didn't want to spend any time with him out of the public eye, but I didn't let any of that stop me.

"I'd love that." I smiled, placing my hand on his arm.

"Could I buy you a drink?" he asked.

"That sounds great."

Reed's POV

When I entered the casino, I knew I had to be careful. If Marco saw me, he'd immediately know what was going on.

I was frustrated that Julia had been put on this mission but the others told me that we had no other options and unfortunately, that was true.

I didn't know how I would react if I saw her sat flirting with the enemy. Of course I knew that it wasn't real but I still wasn't sure if I could handle it.

I slowly walked through the casino, with my head down. I went directly to the staircase of the office where the others were waiting for me.

Fortunately, Ethan had disengaged the security cameras and half of the guards outside already knocked out.

The staircase was out of sight to anybody in the casino, so if Julia did her job correctly then we'd be perfectly fine...the down side was that you could see everything from where I stood.

As I reached the door, I turned around to address my men...but my attention was diverted.

In my direct eye line, sat Julia and Marco. They seemed to be sat at a bar, sipping their drinks.

She was certainly keeping him distracted and I could see why. The outfit she'd chosen was awfully revealing and the fact that another man was looking at her dressed like that, made my blood boil.

I then saw him slide his hand onto her thigh, whispering something in her ear which made a small giggle escape her lips.

I clenched my fists as the others realised what I'd seen.

"I'm going to kill him." I growled under my breath.

"Reed, no. She's doing her job and we need to do ours." Blade said, holding me back.

I knew he was right but I couldn't stand to see them like this. I wanted to rush over there and kill him on the spot.

The boys passed me, went up the stairs and entered the office.

I'd never failed a mission...but today I couldn't stop myself.

Instead of following them into the office like I should have, I flew down the stairs and began rushing over to Marco and Julia.

For the first time in my life, I was the one exposing the gang and putting everybody at risk.

I shouldn't have done it, but I couldn't help it.

I marched over to them and picked him up by the collar, gathering the attention of multiple security guards and gamblers.

"Get your hands off her." I threatened.

I had him pinned against a wall with Julia gaping in shock behind me.

"Reed, what the hell are you doing?" she shrieked.

"Reed Eastwood, what are you doing in my casino?" Marco choked.

He then looked behind me to see the boys in the office.

His eyes turned angry as he realised what we were doing here and he used his strength to knee me between the legs. I was caught off guard, giving him the chance to be released from my grip.

My hurt arm made me weaker than usual and I'd completely forgotten about that.

He began running towards the office as the boys had barely any chance to escape.

"Shit, we've got to go." I said, grabbing Julia's hand and running out of the casino doors.

"Reed, what the fuck were you thinking? You just completely blew the mission!" she said, jogging behind me with her heels now in her hands.

"I wasn't thinking." I screamed as we got into the car where Cyrus was waiting.

The boys were already in the car and fortunately Tris had escaped in her own vehicle without being seen.

"We need to go, now!" I shouted at Cyrus as he pulled out of the alleyway viciously.

"Did you get the stuff?" I asked.

"Only just." Blade replied. "Why did you blow our cover?"

"Look, I wasn't thinking okay? Did you destroy the documents?"

"I think I got all of them, yeah." Ethan said quietly.

"Good, now let's speed it up!"

As Cyrus drove in and out of the passing cars, three black vans suddenly pulled out behind us.

"Shit." Cyrus said. "We've got company."

"Fuck!" I yelled.

The passengers of the cars suddenly began shooting at us and I knew that we had to jump into action.

"Julia, get in the drivers seat." I said.

"What?" she shouted.

"You heard me, now do it!"

She quickly climbed in the front of the car and carefully took over from Cyrus as he joined us in the back.

"Julia, drive around the block a few times while we lose these vans. Keep your head down as much as you can so that you don't get shot."

"Okay." she said nervously.

Cyrus and Blade immediately began to lean out of the window and shoot at the cars behind us, shattering one of the windscreens straight away.

"Ethan, I need you to hold me steadily as I open the door. It's the only way to get efficient shots."

"Reed, no! You already have two gunshot wounds that need to heal, you're not well enough." Julia shouted from the front of the car.

"It doesn't matter. I have to, Ethan keep me steady."

I opened the door and stood with half of my body out of the car.

Ethan followed my orders and kept me steady so that I could get multiple shots in.

I watched gladly as I eliminated two out of the three cars attacking us. The drivers were dead with just four shots.

"Reed, they're getting closer." Blade shouted.

"Keep shooting. We can't let them get to us."

He did as I said and we both shot at the car approaching us at speed.

"Julia, swerve to the left!" I yelled and she did as I said.

As she did this, I dodged a bullet by mere inches, making my adrenaline levels shoot through the roof.

My wounded arm was beginning to get slightly tired but I had to stay on and beat these men.

Eventually, Blade finally got in a deadly shot and the car drove off the side of the road, giving us time to get home before back up was called.

"Julia, step on it. We need to get out of here now."

"On it." she said.

~

We were soon back at my house, I was a little shaken at what had happened. I'd never let my guys down like that before.

"What was that Reed?" Julia said as she pulled me into the kitchen so that we could speak alone.

"Look I messed up, it happens." I shrugged.

"But it's not fair. This was my trial to join the gang, I was doing a great job and you were the one to ruin it for me."

"Well maybe if you were doing less of a great job then I wouldn't have had to intervene." I said, regretting my words immediately.

"What does that even mean? Did you sabotage me on purpose?" she asked, looking extremely upset.

"No, of course not."

"Look, I know you don't want me in the gang but-"

"Julia, this isn't about the fucking mafia anymore! This is about you."

"W-what do you mean?"

"I couldn't stand to see a guy like that with you and I just couldn't help myself okay? I was jealous...is that what you wanted to hear?"

I kept my eyes on her as she seemed to look surprised at my statement.

"I- you still shouldn't have done that." she mumbled, practically ignoring what I said.

"I know and I'm sorry. Look, I can tell this means a lot to you so you can start training with us..." I said reluctantly.

"Really?" she asked as her head snapped up to face me.

I nodded.

"Thank you! You won't regret it, I promise!" she said, practically jumping into my arms to hug me as a thank you.

I let out a small chuckle as she pulled me into a warm embrace.

"But I can't promise that I'll be putting you on all these dangerous missions."

"That's okay. Thank you Reed."

Suddenly her phone began to ring and she grabbed it out of her front pocket to answer whoever was calling.

"Hello?" she said.
