"Excuse me please, I need to get to class," I uttered clearly, pushing back the crowd of reporters and their nagging questions.

"Oi, (Y/N)!Hey!" I gazed around to see Bakugo waving a hand in the air. We both practically swam through bodies and cameras to reach each other.

"Jeez, so many reporters..." I said, feeling nervous and slightly overwhelmed.

"What do you expect? It's U.A. Let's just get to class quickly, I hate this and I'm about to blow someone's head off." I nodded, following my friend to class.

We entered and I sat down in my desk, staring at the broccoli hair in front of me. I pulled out my pencil and gave it a couple of pokes. Deku turned around, rubbing his head and I waved at him. Smiling, he did the same.

Aizawa went over our battle training yesterday, and it was quite amusing to see Bakugo being told off, but I felt bad for Deku as Aizawa criticized him, yet I grew curious when Aizawa started saying how he can't control his Quirk. I wanted to figure out Deku, I knew he was hiding something.

"Now today, you will all be deciding on a class rep." And at that, almost everyone in the class started bursting suggestions and wanting others to pick them. Iida then said something about a vote, and we all agreed on the idea. Once the results were in, Momo and Deku were the top two.

"NANI?! WHY DEKU?! WHO VOTED FOR HIM!?" Bakugo burst out and I rolled my eyes.

I decided to tick him off, considering how angry he could get and whisper-yelled, "I did, now shut up and sit down!" He glared at me with eyes from hell and raised a hand, mini explosions sounded. I rolled my eyes and brushed him off, which ticked him even more.

The bell rang, signalling lunchtime. Everyone pooled out of the class and I was about to pack my stuff before Aizawa called me over to his desk.

"I would like to address something to you. This is about your skills. (Y/N), analyzing you at the battle training, I realized that you not only have great strength, but you also have a great mind. You are resourceful, fast, and you know how to turn the tables in difficult situations.

"But, I am going to give it to you straight... You can't become the number 1 hero if you're Quirkless. But as I mentioned before, you're very skillful and resourceful which are great traits, and you're observant too. And so, I want you to give your all during your time here at U.A. I see great potential in you, don't let it go to waste. Go Plus Ultra." I didn't realize a smile planted on my face, and I raised my fist,

"Plus Ultra!"

"(Y/N)! (Y/N), guess what!?" Uraraka shouted when I sat down.

"Hey, guys. What's going on?"

"We found out about Iida's brother!" Deku said, quivering with excitement. I asked what was so amazing about Iida's brother.

"He's Ingenium!"

"WHAAAT!? THE INGENIUM?! THE ONE WITH A WHOLE AGENCY IN TOKYO AND HAS 'OVER 65 SIDEKICKS'!? I looked at Deku and laughed when we said it at the same time.

"Yes, the very one!" Iida said, looking proudly at us.

"Iida! You have to get me his autograph!" I said, taking a fierce bite from my sandwich.

"Iida, that's the first time I've ever seen you smile!" Uraraka said loudly as Iida beamed with pride. I choked on my sandwich. Deku gave me a few pats on the back.

I laughed so hard, my ribs hurt but that suddenly stopped when a very loud alarm sounded. I looked at Deku with wide eyes.

"Level 3 security breach. All students, please evacuate." A voice sounded.

"Nani!? What's going on!?" Deku grabbed my hand and joined the crowd. In a matter of seconds, people pressed up on either side of me, and I could feel Deku's hand slipping away from mine.

"Deku! Hold on!" I heard him say my name, but that faded away, along with the touch of his hand.

"Everyone! calm down!" I stood on my tiptoes for a moment to get a look of Kaminari and Kirishima, trying to calm everyone down.

"Guys, over here! Help- ow!" elbows were jabbed into my ribs, and hands slapped my head. I heard Kaminari and Kirishima calling me, but I couldn't tell from which direction. A hand slid through the crowd and pulled me. I caught on Kaminari's shoulders, and I sent him and Kirishima a grateful glance. "Ok, what the hell do we do now?" Before one could answer my question, Iida was somehow sent rolling in the air and towards the wall.

"Everyone, please calm down! It is just the media! There is nothing to worry about!" Everyone sighed with relief, distant sirens were heard outside as everyone took a peek outside the window. We all eventually headed back to class where Deku and Momo addressed the class.

"First... Can I say something? I believe Tenya Iida should be the class representative after all..." I silently agreed. After his actions today, he seemed the fittest out of everyone and calmed the whole school down.

Everyone agreed that Iida would be the best class rep, and Kaminari said he looked like the person on emergency signs. I chuckled at his statement.

"You're wasting time. Hurry." Our teacher appears out of nowhere, in his classic yellow sleeping bag.

I smiled as Iida stood up, and accepted his role in the class.

"You got this, Iida!" I said, giving him a thumbs up. As I looked around and heard everyone's words of encouragement, I couldn't help but smile as a warm, fuzzy feeling buzzed inside me, and I realized class 1-A felt like a place where I belong, where we all belong.

"Tomorrow, we'll be doing rescue training. This will be off-campus, and you can choose whether or not you would like to wear your costume" Aizawa said, before dismissing the class. Everyone was pumped up for tomorrow, and so was I. The sun rested above the tree line as I walked home, excitement buzzed through my body. I thought of what Aizawa Sensei told me today, and I grinned ever so slightly.

"Ow!" I rubbed the bridge of my nose and glared at the pole I ran into. "Where did you come from?" I slapped it as if it was something alive and continued on my path.
