Bakugo groaned and peeled his eyes open, staring at the white ceiling of the medical room.

"Good afternoon sleeping beauty," I muttered, sitting cross-legged on a red chair in the corner.

He grunted as he sat up, glancing at his surroundings as his eyes finally landed on me. "(Y/N)... what's with the face? What the hell's got you so mad?" I stood up and walked to the edge of his bed, glaring at him with every ounce of fire in me.

"...(Y/N)?" Since Recovery Girl already healed his wounds, I figured I didn't have to be gentle with him.

I lunged forward with a battle cry, grabbed him by the collar, and threw myself on the bed, my knees pressed into the bed beside his hips.

My yell woke and startled Deku, making him fall off his bed and on the floor with an 'oof'.

I thought Bakugo would be dazed or at least sleepy, but he regained his strength and awareness quite fast. I raised a palm, ready to slap him across the face.

"This is for punching Dek-" He gripped my wrist before I could land a hit, and growled at me.

"Don't. Fucking. Touch. Me." He threw me off and on the floor, causing me to land on Deku who groaned in pain.

I muttered an apology to him before standing and helping him up. I turned towards Bakugo, my arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed.

"That hurt. Look, I know I asked this before but... why do you despise Deku so much? He almost failed the practical exam because of you!"

He pressed his lips together. "It's none of your damn business..."

I scoffed. "Actually, it's very much my business because you and Deku are my friends, and I'm sure as hell not going to sit back and watch as you torture him!"

"You don't know a thing, shut up!"

I raised an eyebrow, ready to snap back before Deku placed a hand on my shoulder, shaking his head and silently telling me not to provoke him. Maybe I was a bit overdramatic. Maybe it's not my place to get involved with their issues.

I sighed and nodded, then reached out and ruffled Bakugo's hair as an apology. It was unexpectedly fluffier and softer than I thought despite its spiky appearance, like petting a dog.

"I'm not a damn dog... what the hell are you doing?" He slapped my hand away and rearranged his hair.

Rolling my eyes, I took both their hands and tugged. "Well, we gotta go to class so get up!"

"Too bad. I'm still tired and I'm not going." Bakugo said, pulling the covers over his head once more.

"Deku... you can go on ahead. I'll catch up," I said, placing my hands on my hips.

"Are-are you sure (Y/N)?" I nodded and listened for the door as it closed behind him.

"You slept for over 3 hours, that's too much of a nap! Get up!" No response. Smirking evilly, I bent my knees, then jumped on him. A muffled grunt was heard, and I grabbed the hem of the blanket before tugging it back.

"I SAID I'M NOT GOING! FUCK OFF!"

"No."

He growled and sat up, leaning closer until we were nose to nose. "Go away."

"....Fine. You wanted this the hard way," I uttered, sliding my arm behind his back and the other behind his knees until I was carrying him bridal style.

"IF YOU DON'T PUT ME DOWN, I WILL KILL YOU!"

"But it's cute! And I'm taking you to class, whether you like it or not." I declared with confidence, but soon I started to pant heavily.

"You're so damn heavy... I can't carry you." I stretched my arms out in relief from the weight and sighed.

"Tch. You're so annoying." Bakugo said, stuffing one hand in his pocket and placed the other one around me, my head leaning against his shoulder. I guess even after getting angry, he can still be a loving person.

"... Bakugo, can we make a promise?" I asked, looking up through my eyelashes at the blond.

He looked down at me, lifting an eyebrow. "What would that be?" I pursed my lips, a bit hesitant.

"Well... promise me that you won't hurt Deku again, only if it's for training, okay?" His sudden stop almost made me fall, and his arm fell from my shoulder.

He looked at me for what seemed like forever before sighing. "Fine. I promise... now you want a damn pinky promise?! Seriously?!"

I nodded and extended my finger, waiting for his to hook with mine. As it did, I squeezed it a little then hugged him in thanks.

"Okay, we really gotta get to class. Aizawa probably won't believe I went unconscious for 5 hours because of a shoulder injury," Bakugo looked at me weirdly, and I shoved him playfully on the shoulder. "Don't look at me like that, you waited for me when I was in the medical room, remember? During the sports festival?"

He smirked and put a hand on my head. "Of course. I'd do it again in a heartbeat." He looked away at the last sentence.

"Hm? What was that?"

"Tch. It was nothing."

"Cool! The mall?!" I shouted, staring at Deku with shining eyes.

"Ye-yeah! Since the time for the training camp is near, we figured we should shop for some things to prepare!" The mention of the training camp got me squealing, and I skipped happily beside Deku as we travelled to the mall.

Todoroki had to visit his mom, and Bakugo had something to do... they were both party poopers but I didn't mind, because I had Deku!

As the group arrived at the mall, everyone split up the moment they got there. I didn't really mind, it was just me and Deku after all.

"I think I need some new sneakers... hey Deku, I'm gonna head into this store for a moment, I'll be quick!" I said, waving a hand and strolling to the sportswear store.

There weren't many people, so it was pretty quiet. I browsed the footwear which ranged from cleats to everyday shoes. My fingertips brushed a pair of white sneakers before a hand was clasped around my neck.

My instincts immediately kicked in, and I stomped onto the person's foot, then brought my elbow back and tried smashing it in their stomach. Both attacks failed as my attacker dodged both.

"Try another move, and you're dead. Let's talk."
