I stared at the crowd of students in front of my classroom with confusion. Who are they, and what's going on?

"E-excuse me, I need to- Aah!" My attempt of breaking through the crowd and getting into my classroom resulted in me getting pushed to the floor.

"Oi, bastards! Let her through!" The familiar voice and explosions created a path through the crowd, which I hurriedly got through.

"You need to learn to get through things yourself, I won't always be there to help you." Bakugo said roughly, which I rolled my eyes to.

"Anyways, who are they? What do they want?" I asked. Bakugo ignored me and pushed past me and stood before the mass of students. Deku leaned closer to me and told me they were from the other classes.

"Out of my way, extras" He said casually. The whole class mentally face-palmed, and the crowd of students all protested.

"Well, I came to see what the fuss about class 1-A was all about."  A voice casually said, and the crowd split again to allow a male with purple hair and bags under his eyes through. He continued, "Are all of you this arrogant?"

I mentally cursed out Bakugo for putting a terrible image of Class 1-A in their heads and wanted to smack him across his stupid face.

"Anyways,  I came with a declaration of war, since the sports festival is considering moving some students out of the hero course, and some out of it. " The purple-headed male said. 'Is this guy serious?'

"I'M FROM CLASS B NEXT DOOR!" Another bold person said, who reminded me of Kirishima. Bakugo began walking out, which I called out to him, "Hey! It's your fault everyone's hating on us!" I gritted my teeth.

"Doesn't matter (Y/N)," he looked over his shoulder and smirked. "As long as we're at the top." With that, he left.

I stared at my lap, sweat beads running down my face, my leg bouncing rapidly in anxiety. The two weeks we had to prepare for the sports festival had gone by in a blink, and all that time I had was used to train. I had my doubts, and wasn't sure whether I should really participate or not, but I let go of those thoughts and suppressed them. The real issue was the fact that I could be easily exposed, and my secret may be revealed, since I'd be on the battlefield in front of so many people, it might be obvious.

I breathed slowly, trying to rid of the feeling of acid swimming in my lungs. . Aizawa sensei gave me the option to wear my costume since it'd help me through my battles, though I refused since it would make the fact that I'm Quirkless even more obvious, and my black suit would stick out in a swarm of blue and white like a sore thumb. I ran a hand through my hair when the door opened, all of the students from my class came in.

They all greeted me with waves and smiles, which I did too. I stayed quiet while my classmates chatted among each other.

"Class 1-A!" A voice sounded loudly, which we all stood from our seats and headed out of the room.

Before we knew it, we were on the field. Thousands of people were cheering and shouting, the sound boomed on my ears, and I felt hot as all eyes were on us. I tensed up and clenched my jaw to keep my teeth from chattering. The waiting room seemed like a good place to be at the moment, away from all the prying eyes of people and media.

The other classes were announced, and soon we all stood in the center in front of the hero Midnight, who wore very tight clothing on a white stage.

"Representing the students is Katsuki Bakugo, from Class 1-A!" She announced. All eyes turned to the blonde, who walked upon the stage and stood in front of the mic, hands in his pockets.

'This guy better not say anything stupid.' I thought.

"I pledge... That I'll be number one." The whole crowd booed and yelled at the blonde. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever, you'll all be stepping stones for me anyways." He responded, giving a thumbs-down. I groaned. He stepped off the stage as Midnight called on for the first game. I nudged him with my elbow when he stood beside me, which he stomped on my shoe in return.

'Ow.'

"This year, the first game will be..." She waited for the screen behind her to roll up a game, and soon it read 'obstacle race'. It seemed easy enough as she explained it.

"As long as you're on course, it doesn't matter what you do! Now take your places everyone!" This got me pumped up, all feelings of anxiety were washed away. The crowd was directed to a red arch with three green dots glowing brightly.

One went off.

'I trained for this'

Then another.

'I can do it!'

Then the third.

"Start!" I pushed my feet into the ground and raced off, slipping between other people and trying to push my way through the mass of students, though the narrow tunnel made it almost impossible.

The opening from the tunnel was a few feet away, as ice began to spread along the floor. I grabbed onto two strangers shoulders and hoisted myself up before the ice could touch my feet. It seemed like the rest of Class 1-A did the same thing as most of the other students were caught in the ice. My grip still on two wobbly shoulders, I swung myself back and pushed my feet into someone's chest, which sent me flying a couple meters forward. I mentally apologized.

Unfortunately, I landed on my butt and slid forward. I saw a couple of people slowly traveling across the ice, which didn't appeal to me as an option. Instead I glanced at the walls running along the path and stumbled near it. I hoisted myself up and ran on the cement wall.

'As long as we're on course, right?'

Todoroki was in view, and the ice ended there. I jumped down, a few meters away from Todoroki as robots over 100 meters high blocked the path.

In an instant, he froze the largest one and ran underneath it. I followed as quickly as I could, realizing the robots were at an unsteady position. He elegantly slid underneath them, and I just managed to follow along, though the robots crashed before I could take one step away from them. The impact sent wind and pressure roughly against my back side, which knocked the wind out of me and left me on the floor.

'Damn you, Todoroki'
