"All set?", Jungkook asked and you nodded taking the boxes and setting them on the backseat of the car.

It was a silent, comforting ride to the sea side.

"Do you think they'll come?", Jungkook asked you skeptically.

You shrugged, "They didn't come last year, so probably they won't come this time too. It's just I feel good, baking cakes for them on their birthday and coming here to celebrate, feels nice and intimate."

Jungkook nodded and took your hand as you both sat on your designated boulders. Both of your hearts aching dully when one boulder at the end was empty.

Not to say out loud but both of you wanted Seokjin to come out of nowhere and crack lame jokes to your faces.

But that wouldn't happen.

The two of you never talked about him, it was like an unsaid rule that was being followed. Maybe it was best because neither of you knew where and how Seokjin was.

"It's always feels nice to sit here and do nothing.", Jungkook said and you hummed.

"Let's take out the cakes and light the candles.", you said getting up and pulled Jungkook along with you.

"It's sad that they won't know how good these dishes taste.", you said looking at the pile of dishes that Jungkook had prepared.

"I know right. Same for your cakes and all these bakeries.", Jungkook added, "But honestly, it never feels like waste of effort, whether they eat or not, it's satisfying."

You placed the cakes side by side and mounted the candles.

"Kook, light the candles on Tae's birthday cake, I'll it do for Joshua's."

After decorating the cake and plating all the dishes, you both sat in silence, waiting for the Gods to appear.

Sometime later as the candles were about to blow out Jungkook said, "They won't come, it seems."

Dejected, you nodded leaning on your boyfriend's arm.

"I'm sleepy Kook."

"So am I."

"We should go then, let them sleep."

You both froze hearing a very familiar voice coming from behind.

In reflex, you looked at Jungkook, who was already wide eyed looking back at you.

"Where are our gifts?", this time another familiar voice came from the front.

You stood up gulping nervously, walking upto the silhouette and finally touching him when in your vicinity, "You really came."

"We had to.", said Joshua patting your head affectionately.

"So shall we get started?", came Taehyung's voice and you turned around in a flash and ran to him.

You tugged at his sleeve like a kid, eyes brimming with tears, chin quivering. Taehyung immediately engulfed you into his embrace and you felt every ounce of discomfort leaving you.

"Please let's stay like this for sometime.", you mumbled against his chest.

After all meets, greets and tears, you both wished the Gods and they proceeded with cake cutting.

"Ugh I missed this.", Joshua groaned as he ate anything and everything that caught his sight.

"You both have to finish this all.", Jungkook said, "Everything here is for you both."

"Say no more!", said Taehyung.

"By the way, when's the wedding?", Joshua asked gulping down a bottle of juice.

"We're yet to finalize the date.", Jungkook informed.

"Don't forget to invite us", Taehyung teased.

"DM your addresses dear God's so that I can send the wedding invite.", Jungkook teased back, "But on a serious note, you both have to be present, how do I tell Jeonghan now?"

Joshua sneered, "Oh that's a challenge for you."

"When you proposed to Y/N, we placed bets on whether it would go smoothly or you'll faint from nervousness before proposing to her."

Jungkook scowled, "No help from you two at all. Atleast you could have visited us. I had spent an entire sleepless week because of anxiety."

"I wouldn't have rejected you, love.", you chimed in playfully.

"What if you thought I wasn't worth it, in the past I had gave you enough reasons to do so.", Jungkook lamented, "I still have a lot to make it up to you."

"Y/N", you heard Joshua's desperate call, "I'm gonna take the leftovers with me."

You rolled eyes, "Should have told me before, I'd have made tons of more of these for you both."

"My fault.", Joshua hummed in agreement.

You watched in content as the three chatted, ate and joked.

You wished, you could frame this moment.

You also wished for a certain someone else to be present there.

"Join us Y/N.", Joshua urged you to sit beside him, willing to feed you.

You shook head, "It's good from here.", your voice cracked, "I just want to keep watching.", you said as you wiped your eyes damning the tears those wouldn't stop falling.

Jungkook was the first one to go to you and hug you followed by Taehyung and Joshua.

"Sorry guys, it's just me being emotional.", you managed to speak, "Don't mind me, go eat."

"We all have our moments, baby.", Jungkook assured, "I do get you."

After some heartfelt exchanges and them feeding you, it was time for them to go.

"Thanks for keeping your promise.", you sobbed hugging the Gods, "We'll keep waiting for you, please visit again."

"We'll try to!"

"Next time, we'll be expecting gifts too!"

"Happy Birthday once again!"

"I'll make a lots of new bakeries for you both next time!"

When Taehyung and Joshua disappeared it was Jungkook who broke down in your arms.

"Fiancé?", Sasha exclaimed in disbelief, "Y/N, he has saved your contact as Fiancé with a heart."

You sneered, knowing the obvious fact. It was Girlfriend ♡ before he proposed, so now it went through an upgrade to Fiancé ♡.

"Are you planning to change it to Wife after you both get married?", Jungkook's mother laughed as she peered on her son.

Jungkook simply nodded, "Wife with a big heart."

"Hoseok, your baby brother is completely whipped for his soulmate.", Sasha sighed, leaning on the said man's shoulder.

"So am I, for you honey.", Hoseok cooed, getting an eye roll from his wife in return.

"What about me?", Mother asked sullen all of a sudden, "Does no one love me?"

"Me, your daughter in law."

"And me, your future daughter in law, we do love you", you said, "Forget about your sons, they're useless."

You both embraced her as she nodded, "I can certainly see."

Jungkook and Hoseok looked fondly at the three of you, heart swelling in love and admiration.

"Since the date has been decided, shall we start with the wedding preparations?"
