A/N : Longest chapter till date... oof....

You recognised the place as soon as you stepped out the car.

The stars twinkling brightly up above so high, the gentle and soothing breeze swaying past you, the sound of waves coming from the distance.

You have never visited this place but this place, had often occured in your dreams.

Walking further, you spotted a silhouette.

That you immediately recognised. Seokjin facing the ocean, sitting on a boulder, the one of the right. So you joined him, sitting in the middle, you both now waiting for Jungkook to take his place.

Soon Jungkook joined and the three of you just savoured the moment.

No words, no looks, no gestures.

Only tears.

Seokjin sighed audibly loud, wiping his tears and turning to look at you and Jungkook, "Hi."

You looked back at him choking a sob and muttering a hi right back.

Jungkook sniffled, eyes still set straight into the abyss ahead, "So we meet again."

"We do", Seokjin smiled, "You both took too long though."

"Sorry...", you mumbled.

Reaching out you held onto both Jungkook's and Seokjin's hand within yours, "Sorry that I forgot you, forgot what we had."

"We both still can't bear to see you cry", Seokjin whispered, giving your hand a squeeze.

"Why are we here Seokjin?", Jungkook asked.

"Why aren't you reincarnated?", you followed.

"Let me tell you", All the three of you turned to see Taehyung, followed by Jeonghan, "But first..."

"You need to remember everything from your past lives", Taehyung continued, pointing at you and Jungkook, "You both."

"How do we do that?", you asked, standing up and stepping forward.

"I'll help you with that.", Jeonghan said as he formed a huge transparent bubble, motioning you both to step in.

Jungkook looked at you, holding your hand as you both did as asked.

"Now, since you've recollected most of the memories, I'll show you what's left.", Jeonghan said before closing up the bubble.

Seokjin felt hollow, and he knew he'd feel more of it when you both will remember about the end you three met, the predicament he was currently in.

Seokjin was also seeing what Jeonghan was showing you both, some parts new, painfully oblivious to him yet.

Seokjin saw, when the news of your affair with him spread, Jungkook was already ill, unaware of what was happening, spending most of the time in bed still wanting desparately to meet you both.

But his body didn't allow. When neither of you visited him, he was confused and sad. He wanted nothing more than to have you and Seokjin by his side. He was even convinced that he'd be better, cured if he got to see you both.

Jungkook wasn't aware of the conspiracy at all, the reason of absence of you both but he knew Bong would strike soon and he already had his men keeping eyes on him until he fell sick and didn't seem to get any better.

For Jungkook, he how devastated his past self was not knowing why you and Seokjin couldn't visit him.

Next, they saw you sneaking into Bong's chamber, smiling at your typical expertise.

Those smiles swept off when they heard what you heard that day in the chamber to your conversation with the empress coming to light what the Empress was doing on Jungkook's name to how torn you looked as your steps halted at the door behind which laid an ill Jungkook before you sprinted off to save Seokjin.

Seokjin walked into bubble unable to keep off, as his arms wrapped around you knowing what was coming next.

You sprinted into the darkness, praying that they didn't find Seokjin and wishing that he'd be where you're guessing him to be.

A sharp kick on his shin caused Seokjin to tumble down as Bong threw him a condescending smile.

His men held down Seokjin, as Bong crouched down speaking, "You are probably wondering why is all this happening to you."

Seokjin spit out the blood of his mouth and laughed, "No. I know what you're upto. Planning treason and roping us into this to clear your path. Wait until Jungkook gets you, he'll finish you."

Bong chuckled, pressing a bruise on his face, causing Seokjin to hiss, "Hmm. You're partially correct. I give you that. I'll sell this kingdom after after getting rid of everyone. But there's also a part of which you got wrong.'

Seokjin looked at him with curiousity.

Bong was a wicked man to such extent that even if he was going to kill Seokjin, he went out extra to make him misunderstand Jungkook until the end.

He took out a scroll of out the holder which Seokjin immediately recognised as this kingdom's, specifically the king's meaning it was an order that came directly from Jungkook.

"It contains the order to capture you because you're having affair with the future queen who I doubt won't be queen anymore and will meet the same fate as you", he smirked, "And as you can see it came directly from his majesty."

Seokjin froze, not wanting to believe any of it.

"In case, you don't wanna believe it", he turned the scroll for Seokjin to see and put his finger under the freshly stamped ink.

Seokjin didn't know what to feel anymore, he had never imagined that Jungkook out of all people could believe Bong's lies, enough to have him and Y/N cut out.

And suddenly, the fieriness in his aura distinguished. His gaze fell to the ground, betrayal was always unacceptable and painful specially when it came from someone so trusted and dearest.

Betrayal from Jungkook was something so heinous, sharp and stingy that Seokjin felt his world crashing down.

They say betrayal is worse than death and Seokjin got the taste of it, fresh, courtesy his best friend, comrade Jungkook.

The moment he was caught by Bong, he knew he'd be killed, that no one could save him. But there was a hope that Jungkook would serve justice to his death and most importantly protect you.

A fear crept into him as your face flashed in his mind.

Who'd protect you now? Would you really, as Bong said, meet the same fate as him and die wrongfully without anyone to seek for you?

He was ready to beg for Bong to spare your life but he knew that Bong was viscous and nothing could change his mind.

"I'm sleepy", Bong feigned a yawn, "So let's finish the business quickly."

"You'll be answerable to everyone if you kill me", Seokjin said.

"Well I'll say that you tried to escape and when failed to do that you attacked me.", he spoke nonchalantly, "oh don't worry I'll bring up some cuts and bruises upon myself after I get done with you. Self defense you know."

Seokjin thought that was it, he would be gone anytime now and he'd not able to say farewell to his family and you.

His mind reeled on how both of your families and you would deal with his death, who would you confide in, who would his father cheat against in board games or his mother cook delicious food for irrespective of occasions.

A tear slipped past his eye as all these thoughts clouded his mind.

Bong was incredibly pleased to see Seokjin in such state.

"I'll do you a favour", he said, "I'll free you from all these worries, pain and heartbreak."

Seokjin looked up him and ordered, "Do it. Kill me."

"Oh trust me I will.", Bong said.

Bong stepped back and few moments later he was taking out his sword with that huge wicked grin setting on his lips.

That was it.

Seokjin would be loosing his life labelled as a traitor.

Bong lifted his sword and Seokjin looked up a melancholic smile setting on his lips as he saw the full moon shining down on him.

Moon, something he'd call you endearingly.

Moon, because it reminded him of you.

He slowly closed his eyes waiting for the sword to come down at him.

Except it never did.

Next, what he heard was series of gasps and some weight against him.

He snapped open his eyes to see you infront of him to sheild him from the attack.

"Y/N..."

You turned to look at him, an expression relief etching on your face to see him unharmed apart from some bruises.

Suddenly blood gushed out of your mouth and that was when Seokjin noticed the sword struck through your chest.

Dread feeled in him as he saw blood sipping through your attire.

"Why are you here?", Seokjin yelled in frustration, tears streaming down his face as he laid you down on the ground, "Why did you do this?"

Your breathing rigged, as you tried to speak, "A-All of my life you have protected me", pausing as blood repulsed out, "t-this was my turn to repay you."

A bewildered Bong and his men took the chance to flee from the scene.

Seokjin whimpered as he couldn't take out the sword which would cause heavy bleeding then already it was so he took out his robe to pool it around the chest area where the sword was piercing through.

You touched his face to make him look at you, "I exposed Bong Seokjinah and Jungkook's si--"

Seokjin hushed you, eyes unfocused, panicking at the amount of blood you were loosing. He looked around as if anything magical would appear and save you.

Gut wrenching sobs bubbled out of him as he lifted your head and placed it on his lap gently. His world came crashing down again, second time tonight as he saw the light from your bright and lively eyes fade out.

You gasped once again and Seokjin was ready to go and get some help when you held him down and caressed his cheeks.

"Thank you for everything Seokjin.", you confessed tiredness taking over, "Please live well and take care of Jungkook. Your lives shouldn't stop just because I won't be there."

At the mention of Jungkook's name, Seokjin's blood boiled but he didn't have the heart to tell anything he heard from Bong to you in your last moments.

You looked up and smiled at the moon, "I'll be there", you said, "Watching you both. Look at the moon when you miss me."

Seokjin bent down to kiss your forehead as his tears fell onto your face, yours slipping into the ground.

You closed your eyes as the hand that caressed his cheek fell to the side.

Everything went quiet.

Including his sobs and whimpers. Seokjin stayed there unmoving holding your now lifeless body.

His soulmate, the love of his life, his moon he lost everything at once and for ever.
