#Thankfully I managed to update new chapter despite my lack of time for HWNF. It ain't my fault~

Ian:

“Tell me exactly how Leah got poisoned but her assistant didn’t?” Josh asked while he’s driving. Liam were seated beside him while me and David were at the backseat. We immediately left the clinic after I found the one that I've been looking forward to meet to.

“Apparently, the guy named Kevin gave them different bouquet by telling Carla the special bouquet only for her which obviously doesn’t have ‘Capri’ in it.” David explained.

“How about Carla then? Is she clean? Who knows she might be the accomplice,” Liam said suddenly showing his doubt.

“She’s clean.” Liam and Josh nodded.
I just sit here in silence but I noticed how three of them glance in my direction few times because obviously they were disturbed and worried on how I tap the gun in my hand on my lap or on how I checked the bullets for the third time just now, they knew my killer mode is in high alert and I don’t even try to deny it. I know they were each armed with guns too but they wouldn’t use it if it’s not in extreme situation especially Josh and Liam, I don’t want them get too involved. Finally after a few minutes we reached our destination, it’s a secret place where I keep and torture my enemies, I called it the Hive. I ordered my men to hunt down the Kevin guy so now he’s in the building waiting for us, for me. The car stopped in front of the building, so the four of us took our own mask and wear it before getting out. We were greeted by a dozen of men guarding the Hive each complete with guns and rifles. We walked towards the entrance with three of them behind me then we entered the building.

One man brought us to the torture room where Kevin was kept inside. He then opened the door for us and then we entered it, I saw Kevin who’s blindfolded and tied up lying on the floor unconsciously and he got bruises because looks like he fought back when they caught him, beside him, there’s another four man guarding him inside the room. I heard the sound of the door closed.
One of the men then brought a pile of water before dumped it on Kevin causing him to wake up in shock and he freaked out. Then they took off the blindfold from him, first he seems to blink his eyes several times before he realized how shitty his situation is where four masked men standing in front of him and the another four was behind him. He looked scared as hell by looking at how he’s trembling and speechless right now. I stared at this man in front of me, he looks innocent but somehow I felt something about him that I can’t pinpoint about it yet. His mouth was open and closed like a fish. His eyes nervously roaming on us then stopped on my hand where my gun is, I realized that makes his eyes went wide suddenly. Wasting no time, I crouched down while holding the gun in front of his face causing this blondie become more scared as hell.

“Tell me Kevin, why you got ‘Capri’ in your hand? What is your plan?” I asked him straight on the point. My threatening voice laced with venom causing him to get more freaked out.

“What ‘Capri’? What are you talking about?” he looks confused but I didn’t care so I hit him on the cheek with my gun causing him to crashed down on the floor grunting in pain. I need my answer.

“Why you poisoned those fucking flowers?! Answer me dammit! Why fucker?!!!!” this time I didn’t go soft on him, my body suddenly moves when my rationality went zero. Josh and Liam had to stop me from continuously kicking the shit out of him because blood already dripping out from his nose and mouth, I almost killed this man. I jerked my arms off from their grip after I gained back my patience then I pulled Kevin’s hair so that he could see me. He is still grunting and wincing but I don’t give a damn about it, hell, I never care about people that I torture, I roughly shook his head and slap him a bit with my gun to force him to open his damn eyes and look at me.

“Now Kevin, stop playing hide and fucking seek, where did you get the poison?”

“I don’t know, I swear. I just did what he told to.” His answer just make me scared of what I fear the most, my new enemy, the Ghost. I loosen the grip on his hair before I let it go then stand up, I look down at him who’s lying in pain.

“Who’s ‘he’?” I asked, the grip on my gun getting tighter by second.

“I-I don’t kn-know, one day a man approached me offering me money if I sell those flowers.” He’s stuttering but I wait patiently for him to finish. “He offered me 3 million dollar if I could sell the flowers especially to Carla. I only followed the instructions by giving them different flowers and flirted with Carla. I-I don’t know the flowers were poisoned because nothing happened. I thought the man like Carla’s friend that’s why he gave her the special flowers every day.” He’s panting for air as he finished answering.

“How’s the man look like?” this time I tried to be calm as I can but all of us tensed because the risk of the Ghost involved is high. “I was drunk that night, the only thing I remembered was his black leather coat and a black hat, I can’t see his face because he hide it from my vision. After that I never saw him because the flowers were sent in front of my house everyday with instruction and the money was transferred into my account.” I think that’s enough answer from him because David already investigated it and his story were match, indeed there was a huge amount of money in his bank account and the source is unknown even though I used all my power to find it. After a few seconds in silence, Kevin’s panting becomes slow and he managed to gulp before asking me, “Is Carla okay?”

“I don’t fucking care.” I answered it with full of hatred. He looked down in shame after he heard my answer. Ignoring him, I walked out from the room with Liam, Josh and David who was silent all the time. “Let him go and no words from him” I said. They nodded. One man walks to me to give me wet cloth so I could wipe off the blood, I wipe it down while walking out from the building but when I heard whispering voices from one of the rooms I stopped on my track making three of them stopped too.

“Yes, I heard it’s a woman who got poisoned because of the Ghost. I never saw the bosses especially the big boss getting so worked up like this.” A voice said it slowly. I balled my fist and clenched my teeth in fury and resentment.

“I think the Ghost just found the only big boss’s weakness.” Another voice added.

“We need to find the Ghost before he strikes out another attack on the woman, because if the woman falls, same goes with us.” The previous voice said.

“Do you know her?”

“No. Nobody knows her, she-”

I left before the voice finished talking because I don’t need to know the rest. They were right, even the boys knew it that’s why we didn’t stop the whispering because whoever the Ghost is; he managed to find my one and only weakness.
