First thing that crossed my mind the moment I opened my eyes was last night.

The one who I packed my lasagna for!

In a flash, i got up from my bed still can't move on from the fact that he's someone that famous and rich
and........

A player.

After I finished my morning routine, I went down to search for my laptop. I'm currently looking through Teddy- no Ian's gossips which is spreading like a wildfire on the internet.

He even got his info showed on wikipedia. I read his entire story with 100% focus.

"Leah!"

I was surprised when someone yelled my name. When I look up, Liam and Josh already seated in front of me looking at me confusedly.

"We called you a few times but you didn't hear us. Are you going deaf already sis?" Liam said with a boring tone.

"What are you reading by the way? You just keep looking at the screen." Josh asked me curiously while him and Liam exchanging their looks between me and them.

"Our boss's" David said behind me.
This time I let out a small shriek because I didn't notice he's behind me.

I look at him, "Since when you're here David?!"

"15 minutes ago" he said casually while sipping his hot coffee and then he took a seat beside me.
I was speechless. Embarrassed Surprised.

Three of them still staring at me, demanding for my answers.
"Okay! I was reading your boss's gossips." I admitted.
"Why?" Josh asked suspiciously.
"I saw him on the news last night, I remembered you guys said that he's your boss so I checked his stories" I said the truth, partially. Liam and Josh seems hesitated while David? Never mind, I don't think he care.

"Oh please... It's not what you boys think of, I was just being curious" I exclaimed trying to convince them.
They shrugged it off when Josh's tummy started to make beautiful sounds, thankfully. So we continued our breakfast a bit late because thanks to my curiosity I forgot to make breakfast for them. After that, Josh and David went to their room to get ready leaving me with Liam in the kitchen cleaning up.

"Anything else sis?" Liam asked me after he finished cleaning the counter. I was in the other hand in the middle of wiping the plates just shaking my head as a response.
"You should go get ready now."  I said to him.

He hesitated for a while.
"I hope you're just being curious sis." He suddenly said that seriously to me. He then holds my shoulders as he looks at me dead serious. "Ian knight is not someone that you could be involved with. I want you to stay safe; I promised this with dad and mom. I don't want to lose you."
I nodded in understanding then looked at my beloved little brother, "He's a player, I know." I said as a matter a fact.
"I hope it's simple as that" he said before kissing my forehead and went out from the kitchen. What my little brother don't know is I was already involved and to make it worse,

I fall for the player.

"Are you okay?" Carla asked me. I'm here at my clinic and now it's already lunch time. Carla was being concern for me because she said I don't look so good since yesterday. She's right; I'm having headaches these few days. I don't know why. I even did a medical checkup already but nothing wrong. Maybe because of stress, plus…with big news last night I think it gets worse.

"I've cancelled all your appointments and closed the clinic like you asked for" she said while handing me painkillers. "Thanks Cee, you can go home now", she hesitated. I smiled at her "I'm fine, I just need some rest", I think that convinced her because she left after giving me all the instructions including to call her if I need anything. After I left alone in my office, I let sleep take me over hoping the pain would go away.

I feel someone was stroking my hair softly.

Immediately, I was in an alarmed position. I woke up to find that it was Teddy. He looks flustered cause my sudden reaction. Instantly, I feel relax because it's him, I thought it was some bad people.

"Why are you here?" he look surprised by my question. I’m surprised too.

"I went home as quickly as I can after finishing all my business meetings" he said.

"Why?" Yeah. Why so quick when you have all the women there? That thought makes me even angrier and jealous. Teddy seems to be taken aback.

"Because I miss you." He said that casually. That makes me even more furious because he must practice that to lots of women to be able to say something like that casually.
I can't take this anymore!

I stand up angrily from my seat while narrowing my eyes to him; he stood up looking so anxious by my sudden response. "Angel, I'm sorry I didn't mean to invade your privacy but your assistant said that it's okay for me to come in so that I can look out for you." He didn't know the main reason I was angry. I was going to forget it all by looking at his face but the moment I remembered all the gossips about him, I become jealous again. I don't want to lash out my jealousy stupidly, so I clear all my things ignoring Teddy who really looks so confused and anxious. I didn't even know if he's acting, I wish I could trust him but all the stories make me lost my trust. Even before I met him, I knew that Knight Corp's CEO is the big bad wolf.

"Angel..... Please don't ignore me" he pleaded. "I'm tired Teddy, perhaps another time." I went straight into my car leaving him no chance of saying anything after I've locked up the clinic. I drove my car away from the clinic leaving him there without sparing any glances. I'm mad at myself for falling for him. He would only play with me, that's what my brain said but deep down in my heart I know he's not. I was even more confused, I really need to consider my brother’s words too. I think I should stay away from him to clear all my thoughts, perhaps my feelings too.

I just hope it was a piece of cake.
