IAN POV:

"Did Rose succeed?", I asked David about Rose, a black market operation named Rose is our code when we talk casually.

"Yes boss, Rose was a total success last night."

"Any thugs?", thug stands for police or any other government craps.

"no"

"Good, you may be dismissed David, I know you feel tired"

David nodded and head out from my office as I call Gia through intercom. Few seconds later, a sexy blonde walked in and then leaned forward in front of me as her hands on my table to give me free show of her silicone boobs. She smiled seductively.

"Do you need anything Mr. Knight ?"

"yes Gia, you can pack your things because you're fired."

"what?!! why.?!!. You can't do that Ian", she suddenly screamed.

"well I just did because I want a professional not a woman who only knows to flaunt her body and by the way it's Mr. Knight."

"Damn you!!". With that she stomped her way out of my face for good. How I hate women like that, act like a slut and can't do any right things. I asked for a report, she sent rubbish. Now I need to find her replacement, being a successful businessman is hard and I can't tolerate incompetent workers. Knight Corp is a big company that needed to be handled only by professionals not slut. How dare she call me by my first name. bitch.

*LATER EVENING*

Putting my last file for today, I lean onto my leather chair. I feel relax, I don't know why I can't stop working. I mean I have all the things I want including money and fame but still I feel like it's not enough. I shouldn't just fired that woman, now I have to force Liam to take all her work. He's gonna be piss off later.

Thinking back about my life it is actually simple which is besides having my 80 year old grandpa, I also have my uncle Ben and his wife aunt Audrey not forget my one and only cousin Josh. They are my closest relatives including David and Liam. David is an orphan, he used to study at the same high school with Josh and Liam so eventually they become best buddy until now. After graduated from college they all worked under me. About Liam, he's kind of a secretive person, not as much as David though. He rarely speak about his family. From what I know which is of course from reliable sources for security reason, he's a rich boy who have a single father and a sister. I don't know much about his family because they are so powerful even my sources can't search any deeper. Those three really care for each others back so I'm just okay with that.

my alarm ring. Snapping out from my daydreaming it's my cue to continue my work. My illegal work. I take out my Iphone and dialed for David.

"time to go". Then I strolled my way out from my office heading to my own private elevator which is only me and David also not forgetting those two dumbass who can ride it. When I reached the ground floor, I immediately went into my limo with David drive it. I sit at the backseat while running through important schedule as I just fired Gia this morning so basically I have to arranged it all until David find a new replacement. Again. 15 minutes later, we reached to one of my club to negotiate new business deal for my illegal black market operation. Before that we stopped by one of my hotel to change. I changed my tux at into long sleeve black shirt with round neck and jeans that is enough to emphasize all my muscles not forgetting my red mask that cover my nose and around my eyes. Me and David then enter a secluded room inside the club.

'Ahh..nice to finally meet you Red'.

An italian man named Lucio greeted me, as a reply I just nodded. In no time, David who also wear a white mask proceed our meeting. It lasted for 2 hour. I felt tired already so I left the club early. Don't get me wrong, I didn't sell drugs, I only sell valuable things, prostitutions, clubs, money loan which is almost similar to what they called mafia. It's my family business, my company is only my side income. Yes I do get a lot of money from this mafia world but hey I like adventure so much to take the risk for having an enormous company into public.

On my way home, we stop at the red light when I spotted a woman, beautiful woman who wear a white dress standing under a street light beside the road. I clearly saw her face, her beautiful face that looks so anxious. How lucky for me to see an angel in the middle of a night I thought while smiling.

what the hell is she doing right there?, it's dangerous and kinda weird. David drive off the car while I'm still considering whether to help her or not.

Dammit.

Well it's not my fault though...
I forgot about the woman as I slowly drifted into sleep at the backseat.
