Every head turned as the lady walked down the office hall, those hidden behind doors, poked their heads out to get a glimpse of the lady in red heels. Her pointy heels connecting with the tiled floor makes sounds that gladden their souls and their lips involuntary twisted in a smile so wide. No doubt the lady is beautiful, some even said she is more beautiful than their Boss's wife. The woman ignored their grins as she walked down to the elevator. Eyes still followed her until the doors pulled apart and she disappeared in the safety of that four-cornered mirrored space. Rumors had it that she sleeps with the Boss but it has never been confirmed. Even the most curious journalists looking to make names for themselves once believed in those rumors but as the months went by, nothing was found that wasn't ordinary with the Boss and the beautiful woman, even the unnecessary gifts that the Boss is always found gifting her wasn't suspicious or evident enough. It beats every man how such a woman would still remain single. If she wasn't sleeping with the Boss, then who is? The unanswered question in many minds. There was a time a fresh breeze of rumor blew in four years ago when the Boss bonded with a certain boy, but as time grew it was made clear to the public that the Boss just loved the boy and had just taken him as his own family and that was why on the day the boy had died, the Boss had cried like a baby for weeks and had mourned the lost boy for months. No one has ever made themselves known to be having an affair with the Big Man upstairs and people were starting to find it very hard to believe that such a man is not involved in any form of extramarital affairs. With ears down to the earth and eyes wide and open as a hawk, they all watched and listened.

Someday, maybe someday a rumor that might just happen to be true will be discovered.

Rachel breathed a sigh of relief once she found herself in the elevator, the lustful stares she gets each time never gets old, initially, she had enjoyed it but now she doesn't find it appealing at all. The elevator beeped and the doors pulled apart to expose an exceptional hallway designed by the best of the best, the Bosses office, the BoardRoom, and the Bosses special inner chambers are all found on the twenty-first floor even a Bar that holds the Bosses best wines and liquor ever made. As she walked down the hallway to the door she needed, a sudden joy filled her heart at the news she was about breaking to the man. She knows how happy he would be hearing such news most especially after a long boring day sitting at the office signing papers and contracts or having just spent hours with the Board members on a boring old meeting. She knocked once on the door and pushed it open.

The handsome man facing the glass walls smiled, his back to the door. He knows who had just entered and he was happy she was there.

"Hello, Elijah." Her soft voice greeted and the man turned around facing her, a glass of wine in one hand.

"You have no idea how delighted I am seeing you, woman." The man spoke with that warm voice that softens the heart of the strongest and the most stubborn of businessmen.

Rachel walked over to him and gave him a warm hug before kissing his lips briefly and then she made herself comfortable on the sofa with one leg crossed on the other.

Elijah put his glass down on the table and then went to get another to pour the lady a drink.

"Milady." He said while offering her the glass. Rachel took it from him and returned his kind gesture with a beautiful smile. "So, any news?" The man asked going back to his own chair.

"Billy has accepted a sitter." She told him and just as she had thought, the man's eyes had lightened up and a huge smile plastered on his face.

"Who is this person? What company do they come from? What is their name? So that I may send my regards." The happy man inquired happily.

Rachel took another long sip of her wine and then put the glass down on a  side table. "Well, he is nobody you've heard of and he isn't a professional either," Rachel replied.

Elijah's heart skipped a beat, what is going on? He wondered. It felt like De Ja Vu all over again.

"His name is Adrian and he used to wait tables, I found him at my favorite restaurant two nights ago." She told him.

"Is that so." Elijah had replied not disappointed but rather shocked at the turn of events.

"When Billy saw him, he stared at him for what seemed like an eternity, then he jumps down from the bed and walked over to the boy, he gave him a paw shake before pinning him down to the floor and kissing the drools out of him." Rachel laughed remembering that afternoon. "I have never seen Billy happier." She concluded.

By this time Elijah didn't know what to feel anymore. It was happening again. Oh, Billy, just what are you doing? The man asked in his mind.

*****

Four years ago, Billy had rejected every sitter brought to him but rather had bonded with a boy who tends the garden. Billy is a special dog and he isn't friendly with most people so if he likes you it means you have been chosen, that was the same way Elijah had gotten the dog on that good day himself.

The boy Billy had chosen was nineteen at the time but Billy picked him to be his sitter. Elijah had employed the boy to care for his dog and soon he was falling hard for the delicate boy. He would never forget the day the boy had told him his name. The sound of his voice and the way it had pulled the strings inside him and his cock had reacted just immediately. Elijah knew he had a weakness and that weakness was men, he didn't know what to call his sexuality and he didn't bother with it. He had seen men and had lusted after them countless times but he had never acted on this forbidden desires until he met the innocent Jack Silver.

The boy took his heart away at first sight and even though the boy had tended his garden for six months, he hasn't actually met the boy until Billy had chosen him that day. He has so many workers and he honestly does not know all of them. That boy was his undoing, his hidden secret and as the day past he fell deeper for the young boy. The day they had both walked Billy was the day he had kissed Jack and the day the boy killed him completely. Elijah lost his mind afterward, he wouldn't go a second without thinking of the boy. As much as the boy excites him, he was terrified of what might happen if the media found out, but even that didn't stop things from escalating very quickly and after three months, he had invited the boy to his office, inside his private chamber and there on that bed they had made love.

Elijah gave everything in him to that boy, he bought him a house, cars, he took him on vacations to the most exotic parts of the world, whatever Jack wants he gets but it all came with a prize. The boy swore an oath of secrecy, to never tell a soul about their relationship and thus it was for three years. People barely paid attention to Jack because he was Billy's sitter for that he went anywhere the dog went which means wherever Elijah went and in public, they were no more than an employer and his employee. Jack doesn't even give as little as blink Elijah's way, rather he played with Billy or takes the dog someplace else. Elijah didn't want anyone finding out, even though he loved the boy dearly he was ashamed of what he shared with the boy.

But then on that fateful night, Jack had called him. To say that he wasn't surprised to see the boy's call would be a lie. Jack was calling on his home line, the same he had made Jack promise never to call only when there was an emergency, he bought a private number he shared only with Jack, the boy call or text whenever he liked on that line and if he wasn't home with his wife or around his kids he would always answer. But that night, Jack had called on the private line and he was in his bedroom with his wife right beside him, she had insisted he answered the call. Elijah didn't know what got into the boy that night seeing that Jack had obeyed and kept to that promise until that night.

Elijah reluctantly received the call and Jack was crying on the other end. Perhaps, three years of hiding the one you love was something the boy couldn't handle anymore and he just broke down and cried, all the while Elijah said his 'Hello' into the phone the boy didn't say a word and he had cried instead and just when Elijah was about dropping the call, he heard the boy whisper. "Are you ashamed of me?" Elijah couldn't answer that question, he was ashamed of what he shared with the boy and not just because of him but because of what it would cost him if the world finds out about them. He would lose so much and he didn't want to risk that for anyone even the boy he loved. Jack took his silence as a yes and brought the call to an end. The next morning Elijah was called and he was told that Jack had gone out drinking all night and on his way home, he drove into a tree, without his seatbelts on, his head had smashed into the steering wheels and the boy had obtained a critical head trauma that killed him before Elijah made it to the hospital.

The fear that gripped him on that day while he rode like a mad man to the hospital was like nothing he's ever felt before. He had even promised that if the boy made it out alive from the hospital, that he was going to tell the world about their relationship but the boy had died before he got there and nothing has broken his heart more since then as he blamed himself for Jack's death until this day and now, Billy has picked up another boy, another nobody and Elijah couldn't help but see it happening again.

"Elijah?" Rachel tapped the man on his shoulder. He responded, obviously startled to find her there. He quickly wipes tears from his eyes, tears he didn't even know he cried. "Is everything alright?" The concerned lady asked.

"Yes," he assured her with a smile. "I need you to stand in for me, I have to get home." He told her and quickly got up to leave.

"Drive safe!" Rachel called out to him knowing that whenever the man is in distress, he always requested that he drives himself and not be driven by his driver.

"Thank you." He told Rachel and rushed out of the building. All the while he rode the elevator and the ride back home, his heart could not help but scream it in his soul that this was Jack all over again. Is fate playing a mockery on him? Or is it giving him a chance to redeem himself, to do what he didn't do the first time? His huge gate pulled apart and his heart skipped a beat once again. This had to be the second time in one day.

Something was definitely wrong.
