Luna played nervously with her fingers as she sat at a table in a café in town. She continuously glanced at the front door, preparing herself for a familiar face to appear. One stranger after another, Luna seems to become agitated just sitting there waiting. As Luna was about to stand up, the door opened and in walked Grayson.

Luna sat back down before standing up to say "hi" to Grayson. Luna awkwardly opened up her arms for a hug, which Grayson reciprocated. After the hug, they both sat down at the table, not saying anything.

"How was your business trip?" Luna said to break the silence.

"It was a business trip," Grayson said uninterested in the topic. "How have you been?" Luna's shy eyes landed on Grayson; she told him about her experience in Brazil. As she continued talking, she could feel her tension lessen until she became comfortable in the situation. As her Brazil story came to an end, Luna's heart started beating quickly again. She knew she had to bring it up; that was the reason why she wanted to meet Grayson.

"Are you getting married?" Luna blurted. She saw Grayson's facial expression, unchanged. "Sorry, Noah and Sera told me about it so I was curious."

"Yes, I am." Grayson replied matter-of-factly. Not expecting this answer, Luna's heart dropped, she felt her stomach tie a knot, and she could feel her smile slowly drift away from her face.

An "oh," slipped out from her lips. She didn't want Grayson to know how she was feeling so she put a smile back on her face. "Congratulations."

Grayson looked confused. "Thank you."

"Who's the lucky lady?" Luna didn't know why she had asked that; she didn't want to hear about the perfect woman Grayson was soon to marry.

"Well, if she agrees, I would like to take her out on a couple dates before I propose." Grayson didn't answer Luna's question.

"I'm happy for you," Luna said, feeling defeated. She concluded that while on his business trip, Grayson had fallen in love with a woman and decided to get married; the only reason for his presence in front of her this morning was to tell her that he no longer was interested in her. She began to prepare herself mentally to hear the words of rejection from the man whom she had previously thought was going to be her one.

Luna watched as Grayson opened his mouth to relay the news. "Miss Luna Rose, will you do me the honor of joining me on a date?"
