Chemicals bubbled and fizzed as it say over the burner. Baxter kept a close eye on them. He figured it was stable, he turned to grab a few more chemicals when........BOOM!! A loud explosion burned Baxters face, along wiht some of the ceiling of the room. Unknown by him, Baxters upstairs neighbor of the hotel had heard.

MEANWHILE WITH YOU

You sat on the couch of your apartment in the hotel, reading a short novle about turtles. When suddenly your floor shook and a loud boom like sound erupted from down stairs. You quickly bookmarked your page and walked to the elevator. Takeing it down to the level just beneth hers.

Walking to the small apartment under hers, she knocked lightly on the door, almost immedietly getting a response. The door opened quickly, revieling a short fish like demon. staring at the demon with wide eyes, she spoke.

"Hey! uhhh, i was just wondering if you were okay?" They asked. Baxter was slouched as he stared at the girl.

"Uhh, yea I'm fine. Why wouldnt i be fine?" Baxter asked, arching a brow at them.

"Well I just heard a explosion under my apartment, and I was worried you were hurt." Baxter blushed in ebarassment. It had been a while since anyone had cared about him or even asked him how he was doing. As Baxter stared at Y/n, she got a glimpse of his apartment. Y/n gasped.
"Holy crap!" They exclaimed. Baxter blushes more, emaressed by the mess.

Yea, I didn't want it to be this messy I just kinda, lost control." Y/n nodded at his explanation.

"I can help you clean if you would like" they offered, smiling kindly at the fish like demon. "Th-that's very kind of you.." Baxter Sadie, surprised at y/n's kindness. Y/n nodded and walked into his apartment. The two spent the rest of the night chatting and cleaning. Soon after, the two began to hang out more and more.

The more they talked, the more they got closer. They had begun a lovely relationship after a year of knowing each other, and they were happy.
