'Badass Bitches'

Trash Panda: Girls, remember to bring your school swimming gear

Trash Panda: Oh and does anyone have a beachvolley ball?

Ribbit: I'll bring one :P

Spidey: Someone please bring sunscreen, I just left for the bus and forgot it T-T

Crafting Table: I'll make you one when we get there ;)

Spidey: I love you

Y/n put her phone in to her pocket, her beachbag on her shoulder as she stood at the bus stop.
Her earphones played one of the songs which she had stuck in her head for the past few days.
She bobbed her head to the rhythm, mouthing the words perfectly in sync.

The ride on the bus was rather quiet. She wasn't used to taking this route alone. Sure it was now the summer break, but still, it felt strange going to school without Kirishima.
The girls had made plans to use the school swimming pool as it would be safer than going to a public one and Y/n had gladly accepted the pleasant plan they had thought out.
Nothing too dramatic, some sun bathing and beachvolley.
Y/n got off the bus and shielded her eyes with her arm as she made her way in to school, meeting up with the other girls.
Mina, Momo, Ochaco and Kyoka were already there. Y/n waved at them and smiled at Momo as she handed her a 50+ sun cream.

"I didn't know what you would prefer, so I went for the safest option" the raven haired girl said, a genuine happy smile brightening up her face.

"Thank you, this will be just fine" Y/n said and moved towards the changing rooms, quickly followed by Mina as the others stayed behind, waiting for the rest of the girls to arrive.
As they got to the girls' room, Mina closed the door behind them and went to get changed with Y/n. They were probably the closest pair out of all the girls by now.

"Are you ok?" Mina asked, as she stripped from her shirt and shorts.

"Yeah, why?" Y/n asked, giving her a questioning glance.

"You seemed a little off back there, with Momo. Did something happen?"

"No, nothing happened"

"Oh, but there is something bothering you, isn't there?" she continued. Y/n wasn't sure what it was, but all of a sudden she felt threatened and constantly compared to Momo. It was ridiculous though, no one had made any kind of comment or assumption, yet Y/n was still unsure as to what to do.
Y/n kept quiet for a second, pondering if she should get the pink girl's opinion on the question she was asking herself about a week ago.

Nothing bad can come out of it and who better to ask than the girl who loves sticking her nose in other people's business

"Are Shoto and Momo a thing? Or do you know if at least something is going on?" Y/n asked, stopping as she finished changing, but keeping her back to Mina.
Her pink friend turned to look at her, a rosy blush forming on her cheeks.

"Why are you asking?"

"I don't know, it's just been bothering me for a few days now"

Mina shifted her head to the side, an eyebrow raised as her h/c haired friend turned towards her.

"You like Shoto don't you? Or wait, Momo?" she asked.

Y/n vigorously shook her head no, instantly regretting the fact she had just asked her that.

"No, of course I don't- I mean, I don't think so" she said, her uncertainty getting the best of her halfway through her answer. Mina moved over to Y/n and put an arm around her shoulders, a wide grin plastered on her face.

"Which one is it? Shoto? Or Momo?"

Y/n opened her mouth to answer, but soon the changing rooms were filled with laughter and giggles as the rest of the girls piled in.
Y/n immediately shut her mouth and put on a bright smile as she said hello to the girls who had just arrived.
Mina let the subject drop as she scooted away from Y/n and grabbing the beachvolley ball from Tsuyu.

"WHO'S READY FOR A GAME?" she beamed, running out.

"I'll go keep her company, get changed and come out" Y/n said and waved at them, leaving the changing room and going back out in to the embrace of the shining sun.
She ran over to the pink girl and activated her quirk, grabbing the ball from her and making it fall in to her arms as she ran around the pool.
She stuck her tongue out at Mina, who stood there dumbfounded.

"OH YOU ARE SO NOT GETTING AWAY WITH THIS" she shouted as she ran after Y/n. The other girls walked out and watched the two of them run after each other until Y/n finally dropped the ball in to the water. Mina wasn't happy with this as she hadn't gotten her revenge yet and kept chasing Y/n around.

The other girls laughed and grabbed the ball, tossing it to each other in the water. It had been about 5 minutes and Y/n and Mina were currently standing on opposite sides of the pool, catching their breath.
Izuku opened the door to the outside and was followed by the rest of the class, minus Kirishima and Bakugo, out in to the sun.
They immediately noticed the girls on the side playing with the volley ball, but then realised Mina and Y/n playfully smirking at each other as they kept their distance.

"What's going on?" Todoroki asked, poking his head out from behind Izuku.
Shoji turned towards the male and shrugged his shoulders.

At that point, Mina started running back around the pool towards Y/n, but as the h/c haired girl followed her friend with her gaze, she noticed the big group of shirtless boys behind her and stood still, unable to process everyone in one go.

Why do I have a feeling I'll be simping for my whole class from today

Todoroki met Y/n's gaze just as Mina reached her. The pink girl lifted Y/n up in to the air to the surprise of most boys who were watching.
Kaminari blushed deeply as he saw the two girls wrestled for dominance, with Y/n failing miserably, being a lot less stronger than Mina.
Tokoyami, Izuku and Kaminari tilted their head to the side as Mina lifted Y/n over her head.

"THIS IS FOR STEALING MY BALL" she shouted triumphantly, a big grin forming on her face as she threw Y/n in to the water, receiving a shriek by the girl which was soon hushed by the water.
Y/n resurfaced from the water and started laughing loudly.
The view of the girl, her hair wet and pulled back by the water, her glistening face, made most of the boys look away and try and get distracted with something else as they felt the heat rise up in their cheeks.

The afternoon flew by as the girls kept relaxing and having fun on the side, while the boys took turns racing in the water. Halfway through, both Kirishima and Bakugo arrived, with the redhead apologizing for coming so late.

Eijiro, nothing can make you more of a man than convincing Bakugo to do something he doesn't want to

Once they had reached the finals in their swimming competition, with Izuku, Bakugo and Shoto in the top, Aizawa walked in, interrupting them and erasing everyone's quirks just as the three of them jumped in to the water.

Y/n laughed from the other side of the pool as she looked at Bakugo's wet head bob out of the water.

"It's 5 pm, go" Aizawa said and left immediately after.

Bakugo turned to look at Y/n floating on the other side and his eyes narrowed as she laughed at him.
He dove under water and quickly swam over, grabbing both her legs and pulling her underwater as she screamed, not expecting it.
Shoto watched the two of them as he got out of the pool, noticing how Bakugo had reappeared after pulling her down, only to be tackled by a laughing Y/n.

"Get off of me you dumbass" he growled, trying to swim to the edge of the pool. Y/n let go of him and activated her quirk, latching on to Shoji's arms, pulling herself out of the water and leaving the angry boy in the water.
She waved at him and sped off in to the girls' changing room before he had a chance to get her.
Shoji looked between her and Bakugo and shrugged, not really understanding what had just happened, but left to also get changed.

Shoto Todoroki wasn't the type to really hang out with large groups of people, but due to Izuku introducing the pool idea as practice, he was pretty much on board.
He thought about the day as a great opportunity to use his quirk and practice with it in an area with a large body of water. Also, the other boys would have been there, so he could possibly find himself a sparring partner.
However when he got there, the first thing he saw, was Y/n being thrown in to the pool by Ashido, then followed by her cute head poking out of the water, her hair slicked back and her face twinkling with the water droplets that trailed down it.
And that was it for Shoto, that was his day concentrating on practice in the pool completely ruined, because from that moment on, all he managed to do was half use his ice to win the swimming races and half stare at Y/n when no one was watching, hoping to catch another glimpse of her laughing in the water.
He had no idea why this had affected him so much and he eventually noted that probably this was normal as most of the other boys were also distracted by the girls.

It's nothing relevant

At the end of their afternoon, he then watched Bakugo grab on to Y/n's legs and pull her under water. For the few seconds that both of them were under and he couldn't clearly make out what was going on, he clenched his fists unconsciously. As she then jumped on to him, laughing loudly as Bakugo tried shaking her off, his teeth also clenched. He turned his back to the two in the water and felt a strange surge of pain rush through his chest.

I must be having a heatstroke

Todoroki barely noticed the girl run past him to the changing rooms as his hand rested over his heart, where the brief, small, waves of pain came from.
He lifted his head just in time to see her figure disappearing down the corridor inside.
The boy quickly got changed and left, waving a goodbye to the few people he met on his way out, his earphones in his ears already.

He got home and slipped his shoes off, sliding the door open and being immediately greeted by his sister.

"Hey Shoto! You're back" she smiled, but her face contorted in to a concerned look when she saw the sad expression in his eyes.
She knew her little brother wasn't one to come in to the house waltzing, but there was a different look in his eye. It wasn't his usual expression.

"Is something wrong?" she asked, reaching for her brother's face to check if he had a temperature.
He flinched and moved his head away, not wanting her to touch him.

"Sorry" he mumbled, leaving his bag on the floor. He was about to walk past her, but he decided against it and turned back around.

"Fuyumi?" he asked. She was still his older sister, maybe she knew what was wrong.

"What is it Shoto?" she was actually surprised at the fact that her little brother was about to ask her something. He was always so reserved that she barely knew anything about him anymore.

"I feel this pain, in my chest" he said. Worry suddenly took over his sister, who's eyebrows furrowed in fear.

"When? How? What did you do?" she asked, hoping and praying it was nothing serious.

"I don't right now, but before, when I was at school" he said. She breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that whatever it was, had passed.

"How did it happen? Did you strain yourself in any way?"

Shoto thought back to just half an hour ago, when it had happened. He wasn't doing anything in that moment and he had just passed it on as heatstroke, but he wouldn't be feeling fine now if it was.

"No, I was perfectly still and I barely used my quirk today. I was watching Bakugo... with Y/n" he explained, recalling the exact events. Fuyumi's ears perked up at the second name. Her eyebrows suddenly raised, a big grin making its way on to her face. Now Shoto was the one feeling confused, why was she smiling after he told her about her pain?

"Oh my dear Shoto" she beamed, a loud laugh coming out of her as she processed what he was saying.

Is he really that clueless?

"It's jealousy" she said, making Shoto feel even more confused.

"Jealousy? I doubt it, I mean, I managed to beat Y/n at the Sports Festival so I don't think I have much to be jealous about and Bakugo may be phsyically stronger right now but-"

"Not that kind of jealousy" Fuyumi said. She moved over to her brother and patted his head with her hand, giving him a soft close-eyed smile.

"You'll figure it out yourself sooner or later, I can't give you all the answers" she said and then left back in to the house. Shoto pondered what she had said on the spot and slowly made his way back to his room, his head deep in thought.
He lay down on the futon in his room, the word 'jealousy' whirling around his head until he finally fell asleep.

Y/n was ready to go to bed when she went in to the kitchen to say goodnight to her mum. She heard her on the phone from the other side of the wall, even though she couldn't perfectly make out what she was sayind due to her not speaking loud and clear.

She's been on the phone quite a lot recently

Y/n had never seen her mum call or be called as many times as she had been in the past week at least. She kept her head resting on the wall, curious if she was talking about her again.

"Yes, she's going"

A few moments of silence.

"Alright, I'll call you back"

M/n put the phone down and held on to the kitchen counter with both her hands as she took in a deep breath.

"Mum?" Y/n called from the entrance to the kitchen. Once again M/n jumped as if her daughter had startled her.

"What is it spider monkey?"

Y/n pondered asking her who it was, but she had done that once before already and didn't want to seem too nosey. Eventually she decided against it.

"I was just going to say goodnight" Y/n smiled and waved, receiving a wave back from her mother.

"Alright sweetie, goodnight" she called, staying behind.
Y/n dropped herself on to her bed, her mind clouded by unidentifiable thoughts. As they whizzed around her brain, her eyelids slowly felt heavy, sending Y/n in to a deep slumber.

I think that is all for today, also, WE HAVE SHOTO FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGING HIS FEELINGS AND PROCESSING THEM, ALRIGHT let me know what you think, byeee <3 ~Ali
