dancing to three am spirits
lingering for a last moment jumpscare,
I blew out the final straw
of golden unevenness in my room
and blew out the cigarette
smoking the room,
unattractive;
as DJ lights from the streets
distorts vision
and palpitate heart

my room stinks of unsung poetries
and dead stories sticking to the walls,
refusing to leave-
before I give their prince charming a chance
to ride an effing horse
through dusty roads leading to neverland

and I believe,
I can't leave them alone as well
because each page
have a piece of me
that never knew how to grow up

but, truth be told,
I have swelled past the clouds and saw the
start and end of a rainbow,
counting stars
and moving mountains
as I reach where I am
in sweat and tears

this moment,
never felt so real and scary
and I am living it
in hopes and smiles
with regrets, frowns and 2 am wishes
to rewrite the flaw lines
and copy-paste them to the journal
to refer as I look back to the time where and when
I had a blackout, downpour and
rebirth!
